I wasnt planning to write this review but this interaction has bothered me for quite some time and we will never patronize this business ever again.. My husband and I came in for the first (and only time) some time ago to look for painting supplies and to talk to them about getting paint mixed for our old 78 Ford truck. While browsing their discount rack, just seeing what was available for test sprays, I noticed there was not one but TWO gallons of the orange paint that was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Solid layer of dust on both, clearly they had been tucked down on the bottom rack for QUITE some time. We took it to the counter to ask how much they wanted for just 1 of the gallons and the teller (clearly a new guy) said he would need to ask his manager how much it was. Boy were we shocked when the manager took one look at the paint, and slid it to his side of the counter. Saying sorry this was mixed for a customer and we had misplaced it. Mind you, this had clearly been sitting for a LONG time and surely by that point they would needed to have remixed it for the original customer in order to not lose that sale. I know how much that paint sells for and it was clear the manager knew as well because he promptly informed his employee to go whisk the other one off the shelf and offered to mix us up our own batch for a few hundred dollars. He made it very clear that he valued selling the paint at full price instead of offering any discount on the paint that had been misplaced (didnt believe it for a minute) and was quite rude when we pressed him to sell us the one on the discount rack. The ONLY reason Im giving more than one star is that other than our terrible interaction with the manager they had quite a good selection on other painting supplies that would probably fit most applications or needs.
Super nice and helpful staff
