Kevin was very straightforward and honest. He did a great job with my VW Golf and gave me a fair price. Often when I go to mechanics, as a woman, I feel talked down to. But I did not have that experience here!

The only place other than a certified dealership I would even consider taking my vehicle, and even with that said, I’d still bring it here every time. Kevin is very knowledgeable on the Audi platform and recently completed a timing chain service for a considerable amount less than what the Audi dealership quoted me. High quality service at an excellent price.

Kevin is such a good honest guy. I’m so glad I found him. I only take my 2003 Audi to him. He fixes what needs to be fixed without trying to add extra like all other mechanics. Very knowledgeable and gets parts quickly. Fairly priced, doesn’t over charge.

*****UPDATE******I just wanted to do a quick update! Was just here two months ago getting timing belt replaced and a few days ago my car wouldn’t start again! Was worried we had the same problem but thankfully this guy fixed it right the first time!! It was my starter that went out and he had it back to me in two days flat! Cannot thank this place enough! I’ll tell you what, I will never go anywhere else!! Thank you again so much! You guys are truly the best!!2 months ago- I will never take my car to anyone else ever again! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This guy knows his stuff! He’s honest, gets right to the point, and his pricing can’t be beat!! I can’t recommend this place enough! They are very honest and will not insist on something being repaired if it isnt vital. With my older car thats what I need when making repair decisions. They communicate well and estimate repair costs accurately.

Kevin knocked out a job on my sons GTI the same day within a few hours. No locksmith I called would even touch the ignition switch on it and the dealer gave me run around and no call back. Great service, fair price, super fast turnaround. If you have a VW this is the place to take it.

This place is great. We gave Kevin a budget of $1000 and he worked hard (even took it through DEQ) for me and got it running safe and sound. Very reasonable pricing.

I will never take my Audi to the dealership for repairs again. Kevin was honest and reliable. He completed the work I needed at half the cost of the dealer and didnt use discounted parts. I feel like Ive finally found a mechanic that I can trust.

I took my BMW to Kevin while concerned about a possible gas leak. When I showed up to the shop, he lifted the car up right away. Within maybe a minute or two, he was able to find the leak. He always kept me updated on the process, and Im very pleased with his work.

Many reasons these folks have a 5 star rating. I had them replace my thermostat and coolant (at an excellent price). 6 mo. later I went to them to buy some BMW coolant needed due to an unrelated seepage. They mixed up a half gallon and gave it to me, no charge!! They also did a search of the technical bulletins for a different issue which was a real kindness, since they no longer work BMWs (sniffle, sniffle) .These folks were referred tome

I was referred to Kevin and Sally by a service center that does not service BMWs. My wife dropped off the car with my list of services needed. Kevin performed the diagnostics, replaced the faulty valve, and even took it through the DEQ to insure it passed. He recommended a few items to be serviced, but did not pressure me to perform them.Sally and Kevin are very friendly and honest people. I will be back for those recommended services once Christmas shopping is over.

This Shop is Awesome! My Jetta Wagon had some serious problems. Besides a radiator hose and t valve blowing, it had electrical problems so bad the VW dealership had it for a week and couldnt even figure out what was wrong! Kevin thoroughly went through everything and found serious problems that VW didnt take the time needed to find. He really went above and beyond with everything. He even attached my front bumper free of charge (darn parking bump detached it)! Very reasonable and affordable. Kevin is my knight in shining armor and this is why. The transmission in my 2001 VW Eurovan died, I took it to Kevin and expected that my extended warranty would pay for the repair. The warranty company said it was a preexisting condition and did not want to pay. Kevin went to battle for me, won and my van runs better than it ever has. He is not only a great mechanic, he is more than fair with his pricing, but most of all, I trust him. Once you go to Kevin, you wont go anywhere else.

Got the run-around (+$1000) from local VW dealer with electrical issues (e.g. alarm system, windows, lock sys) that they could never diagnose correctly. Kevin deductively problem solved, isolating the electrical issue and installed a much lower cost circuit controlled motor. Sally & Kevin are tops in my book!

Just dropped off my 1982 VW Rabbit Diesel to get the oil pan gasket replaced, and to have to 2 bolts that are next to the transmission re drilled and threaded and oil replaced. they seem extremely friendly, and are priced well, they also said they would try to do it for 300 or less, and would call me if they needed to do anything that would cause that budget to go up.

Kevah takes time to explain what sort of issue your car may be having, and will give you a fair deal if he knows you are on a budget. Turnaround time is fairly decent, and they can perform just about any repair you may need. I took my GTI to another shop a few years ago and they didnt fix everything they told me they did - and I ended up having to go somewhere else. I found this shop a little while afterwards and havent had to worry about leaving with more repairs than I came in with (like the VW dealership a few miles down the road).

As a female german car owner I am leary of who I take my car to. After reading the reviews I decided to take my mercedes to Kevin at German Automotive. I have never written a review before online but wanted to becuase of my experience at German Auto. Kevin was great and did an excellent mechanical service on my car at an affordable price. I am taking my car to him for another repair next week. We will also take our porsche to him if needed in the future. He saved my thousands of dollars on my repairs and provided the best service. I fully trust him as my mechanic.
