Purchased a beautiful MCM Kevi Chair designed by Jorgen Rasmussen. It is very apparent the shop is curated well, majority is MCM and a lot of their pieces are extremely hard to find in circulation. Furniture is priced well to sell. The owner Tony, is reminiscent of a New York Canal Street Vendor, he’s very personable and does not take any BS. Great place, great people, would recommend stopping by if you want looking for anything MCM - shop does not lack in personality.

My partner and I came in looking for a table and while we loved so many of the things on the floor and really enjoyed chatting with Tony, nothing was just right for us. As we were getting into our car, Tony came running out after us and said I just remembered -- I think I have the perfect thing for you!. He then showed us photos of a table that his partner, Maria, was in the process of refinishing and it was indeed exactly, precisely, otherworldly perfect for us.Fast forward two weeks later, after it was fully refinished, and Tony and Maria hand-delivered the table to our house and even helped us get it inside and all set up. The level of genuine care and craft that they bring to their work is pretty incredible -- dont think Ive ever walked away from a purchase feeling so moved and grateful. This place is truly a hidden gem and I dont imagine that Ill ever want to look for furniture from anywhere else ever again.

What a great place! Very clean, and great safety measures during the pandemic. The owner helped us out, and was very kind and helpful. So many unique items in this place! We ended up buying four counterstools at a perfectly reasonable price (really, quite a bargain) and we are SO THRILLED. We will absolutely remember to come check the store out if/when we need a bespoke piece in our home. So glad to have found them

We bought new living room furniture here. They have a great selection of antique furniture and also make their own mid century style sofa and ottoman table. Tony (owner) was a great help in helping us pick out options and fabric

Well-curated furniture from the 60s, other eras as well, all in great condition. Lots of chairs, highboys, dressers, lamps, all fab and in excellent condition. Some new/custom kitschy items as well. Very quick turnover for the vintage pieces though--if you see something you like, better grab it. And come back regularly, for real. Prices are fair.

I have been searching for just the right dining set found it at Mafes. Not only was the dining set it exactly what I was looking for but it was priced fair, in great condition, and was delivered the same day. Plus... we got to meet Tony and hear about the couches him and his wife make. Very cool stuff.I will be going to Mafes first the next time I am looking for a new piece of furniture.

Tony and Maria a.k.a. Mafe (pronounced Ma-Fay) are amazing! I just moved to the area and stumbled across a listing of their shop and decided to check them out as I was on the hunt for a couch. Tony helped me out and explained that many of the items in their store they make themselves and have the option to customize. He gave me some sample materials and wood options to bring back home and get an idea of what might work best in my house. After a few indecisive days I went with Maria to their build shop where I got to see what everything might look like finished. Throughout all of this Tony and Maria were both extremely helpful, kind, responsive and patient. I finally decided on the materials and was delivered my dream couch just a few days later (way ahead schedule!) They both delivered the couch themselves and I couldnt be happier! Now that I have had the couch for a few months and use it everyday I can attest to the quality of their workmanship. It is extremely comfortable and built of durable materials meant to last. I will definitely be back to do more business with Mafes Mall and would highly suggest checking them out as they both have a can do attitude that is backed by their incredible quality of product and service. After a year long search for new couches, I found Mafes Mall online. My wife and I live Salem so we took the short drive out there. We found so many great things at the store. We ended up ordering custom couches. They came exactly as we ordered, within the timeframe, with delivery, and prices were very fair for custom local made. Would recommend and will buy from again.
