Amazing and most beautiful space. You are greeted with a welcome bench and flowers and such friendly staff. You feel great peace and comfort as you walk around the wonderful collection of books displayed. The centre has facilities for classrooms and a space for events. Really enjoyed visiting and looking forward to visiting again.

The most inviting and peaceful bookstore I’ve been to. Their collection of social justice and beautiful Islamic books could keep me curled up on the sofa reading for hours. I wish I could live here!

I ordered a set of 2 books to be delivered to London, UK.I received the books today and am very pleased. They were in fantastic condition, with no damage to the books despite them travelling such a long distance and the order arrived within a reasonable time frame.Thank you!

I ordered 100 copies of the pamphlets of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on Monday, January 28, 2019. After my credit card was charged in full, I received a shipping confirmation with a USPS label. I waited two weeks and called in to check on the order. I have been trying to reach Daybreak Press for eight months. I finally received an email response last week. It is now September 10, 2019 and it is the third semester in which I have not been able to use these pamphlets in my classroom. I wrote an email response asking if they could please expedite the shipping so that it could arrive by our first day of class next week, as I have been waiting EIGHT MONTHS for the order to arrive. They said they would have to cancel my previous order and charge me extra for expedited shipping. I have zero confidence that I will ever receive this order, and hope that I will at least get a refund within the next three years. This level of customer service is beyond absurd, especially when customers are educators who are deeply committed to the mission of this company and to providing human rights education for our youth. I strongly encourage folks to look elsewhere for a quality bookshop and for Daybreak Press to hire staff that can provide basic levels of customer service.

While bookstores seem to be a dying breed, this one does well and has a great options of various books - especially for female empowerment. You can find religious Islamic books alongside secular regular books to some variety of cookbooks. They also have small gifts like Soy candles and bookmarks. Definitely recommend stopping in and supporting.

Love Daybreak. Its a lovely space to look around and read. Ive used the meeting space before, and it was perfect for a group conversation. Its only a little tough if youre looking for a specific book, because they dont order in for you.

Women-oriented and muslim-oriented, very cool place to browse. They have a meeting space, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I bought s couple books on historic women, and have been meaning to go back for two books on history from a middle eastern perspective that I saw there. Very well stocked and organized Muslim history and culture section, but also small shelves dedicated to gardening, poetry, and used books.

If you want a big box book store that only cares how much you spend and not what you read then dont shop here. These are amazing people who do much more than sell books. They actually give away their most valued asset in the store for free. And that is the love of goodness coming to other people. The love of whoever comes in the store to find happiness and comfort. The love of finding oneself through a book that will eventually lead that person to salvation.Allah reward you all. Keep up the amazing work.P.S. i love Stars in the Prophets Orbit and the large spiral bound Qurans you sell. Those Qurans make reading from them so easy. 😊🤗👍
