Once we were able to get on the schedule to buy a new phone and accessories our solution specialist, Cody, was able to explain everything and make helpful suggestions. Although getting a new phone is inherently a difficult experience Cody was able to make our experience in the store very pleasant. Even on a Saturday night. Thanks Cody!

Verizon stores are known for their knowledgable and helpful staff. This location however goes above and is the only store I go to, even though it is no longer my closest store. Once again I walked in in need of a phone and walked out confident I had the one for me. Every question was answered and sometimes reanswered, specs were explained in a way my non-tech brain understood, and he (sorry I forget your name) asked questions so he understood my needs and familiarity with different phones so he could make better recommendations.

While my customer service rep was very patient and helpful, the process of opening a new plan and purchasing a new phone was truly a nightmare. I was in the Verizon store for 3+ hours after booking an appointment over a week out and ran into issue after issue, hold times on calls regarding my transfer of service, etc. I honestly cannot think of a customer experience this poor in my recent memory. They were out of parts, out of phone color options, out of phone sleeves to send used phones back, even out of shopping bags lol. It was so bad I honestly think someone should make a standup comedy about it! Will be avoiding going back if ever humanly possible.

Cant even begin to describe the horrendous service here. I had 2 scheduled appointments, both of which I had to wait 15 minutes for the employee to show up (why bother having appointments if the employees are late...??). They also promised me $440 trade in value on a new iPhone, and then 2 days later (the earliest appointment available) the offer suddenly wasnt available. No one at this store knows anything. Also had to wait > 24 hours to get an existing line activated to a new plan... I could go on and on. Go to Apple to buy iPhones and go to T-Mobile for your network.

These people were unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful. I will never go back to that location again no matter what. They only give unnecessary service that wasn’t even worth the price, service, and time. They were very rude to other customers, I overheard the way they spoke to people as if they weren’t people including me. I had one of the rudest, nasty, and egotistical experience ever. I switched to Verizon and paid for my phone at full retail price, I asked for in-store pick up because I urgently needed a new phone. While I went into the store I had two people actively said that I was lying and that I would need to call customer service to release the “fraud alert” that Verizon had placed on the account. I said it is not fraud I cleared it with my bank, and why would Verizon charged my card for the full amount with the money leaving my account and say it’s fraud. One of the sale rep used a phone to call customer service while on the phone the call disconnected and I waited an additional 15 minutes before any of those fools that call themselves reps could come out and help me even though I was standing at the front desk. Then guy comes out and basically interrogated me about the phone as if I didn’t purchase it, he wouldn’t help but just ask the dumbest question known to men. Long story short they refused and I mean absolutely REFUSED TO HELP ME THE FIRST TIME I WAS IN THE STORE. I had to come to work and call customer service and clear it with them. When I went back to pick up the phone the manager was at the door, her dumb self didn’t know what she was doing, she was being rude to a older white lady and repeatedly talked down to her. I waited 20 minutes for my phone all to be told they can’t give it to me without the card I paid with, though I had all of my information with me. I will never go back to the store again, if I do let God send down a wrath upon me, yes that’s how serious it is.

3 days before I got my new phone to make a call even after calling tech support. On my other phone for way too long then the tech support told me he would activate my new phone by midnight. Never got done still had a useless phone. The Verizon store should have activated it before sending it home. I really needed that phone for the next day so my wife wouldnt be driving 100 miles out of town without it. Disappointed in their lack of customer service.

I got the worst customer service at the this store... I bought a pair of apple headset last month for $250 . Im having issues with it wich is cover under normal warranty. I have talked sales guy named Ben who was very rude and didnt want to help at all ... the. I requested to speak to a manager. Ben is the best. He helped us with our business account, figured out ways to save us some money. And even told us that Verizon has roadside service. Who knew? One of the best experiences ever in Verizon. Ask for Ben at the Minnetonka Ridgedale branch. And if youre a T-Mobile customer, run to Verizon right away. They are the best. 😀

Waited for over 15 minutes after signing in--Then another customer who just walked into the show area and directly talks to a sales person-- who by his actions was very surprised and sheepishly looked around to see if anyone noticed.Appears the custom at this store is to not wait in line and go directly to a sales person !Finally, conversing with a sales person-- talked about getting a new phone--sales person basically stated unless you are a new customer--you will have to pay full price !--Been with Verizon for over 20 years--would expect the same pricing as a new customer !!Sales person then gave me a bogus number to call for retention customers--verified number with sales person--called number later in day--non-related companyThen tried calling Verizon using *611--waited over 20 minutes--Where is the closest ATT store ???

Worst experience. I moved from Verizon post paid to pre paid and found that my post paid service charged me one month extra. I went to Ridgedale Verizon for clarifications and help to resolve the issue but they didn’t have the billing data from beginning of my post paid service hence they Informed me that they can’t help and told me call customer care. I called customer care from the Verizon shop and had to spend 1.5 hrs to make them understand the problem and at the end customer care told me that they will investigate and will call me back within 48 hrs and asked to disconnect the call. When I asked the manager at the Ridgedale Verizon to let me know the next level/manager so that I can reach out for further help he behaved like he is the person next to Verizon CEO and suggested me to just accept that one month additional charge and keep quiet. BTW I haven’t received any call back from the customer care as well even after 48 hrs passed.

They took down the monitor that used to show you where you were in the queue and the approximate wait time. There was no way to know that we would end up waiting nearly an hour. Strike one.The Salesman, who works on commission, tried to upsell me with a product that was 50% more expensive than what I requested and gave me bogus reasons why the 50% higher priced product was in my best interest. Strike two.The price of the product I purchased was significantly higher than what was available elsewhere. Strike three.It took the salesman an unusually long time (~10 minutes) to retrieve the product from stock.Im only with Verizon because of a corporate discount. From now on, Ill do all phone upgrades elsewhere.

Brandon was the technician who was supposedly helping us but he doesnt know what to do if the customer doesnt remember their apple ID and Sara was the assistant manager on duty who would not waive any fees, nor deescalate the situation in any way, or even to attempt to help out. Brandon froze when we couldnt remember the apple ID, told me to go back home to get another device, which I did. Then Brandon was unable to go further, sent us to Apple, which was going to take hours, so we went back to the Minnetonka Verizon store and then Sara charged us $70 before we could take our old phones and leave to find another store who could set us up. This was after their attempts to get us a receipt and partial refund was a challenge for them. Sara said her device was frozen. We have been customers for maybe 8 years of this Verizon store. Neither Sara or Brandon would help us, even in telling us to come back or in basic customer service skills. Sara threatened both of us with calling the cops if we wouldnt leave and accept that after two plus hours they would charge us and not help us. No attempt to deescalate the situation or to help us. Customer service is not a word they understand in this store. We have gone to this store in the past and they used to be helpful. I imagine it is the people waiting on us that explains the incompetence and rudeness and lack of accountability we experienced.

Ive been in that store 5 different times and every single time I stand around for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to help me with something And never get helped by employees even know theres At least one employee standing around doing nothing. Went into Verizon store to upgrade from an I-phone 6 to an 8. When it was time to transfer photos, apps, contacts to new phone I was told they dont do that. I left Verizon without buying the phone. Drove across the street to Ridgedale Apple store. They not only happily transferred all info to new phone, they paid me more for my trade in and explained all the new features. The next day I got an e-mail from Apple offering me a 30 minute 1 on 1 session to further explain my new phone.

It always seems to be busy here and under staffed according to the traffic. For the most part everyone seems to be well educated, except for some of the associates checking people in. It seems they could use some training in properly qualifying people for plans. For instance I said I was adding a single business line and the guy tried to set me up with a business account. Thanks, but the amount of energy and hoops a person has to go through for a business account for one line is not worth it.

Terrible. I switch from Sprint to Verizon to get better coverage, but it has been nothing but a HUGE HASSLE. The wrong SIM Cards were installed in the wrong phones. Which required us to come back to the store TWICE to get fixed. The wait in the store is over an hour. Our first bill can in THREE TIMES higher than what was quoted in the store.Our email address was taken down wrong and the main number for all our lines cant call in and make changes to the account because Alvin set it up wrong. So now I get to go back to the store, again since no one picks up the phone over there and wait likely another hour before someone can explain this outrageous bill to me.

Dont buy anything extra if you heart is set on using he Verizon network. They will tell you stuff is free but then it actually costs you x amount of dollars per month and when you get the bill there is hidden fees. When you call customer service to get rid of it they tell you its a 200$ early termination fee.Cant wait to be done dealing with Verizon and move to a different network. Have had nothing but issues and been lied to on more than one occasion.

Worst. Store. Ever. If youre looking to get treated poorly by disinterested hipsters, this is the place for you. I went in to trade an unused phone for a different model on a corporate account. By the way they treated me, youd think it was top secret CIA level uranium deal with a terrorist organization. I gave them the phone and paperwork, and said, ‘I just opened the account a few days ago’. They ask for an ID and then tell me Im not an authorized user on the account. ‘Impossible’, I say. ‘I set up the account by myself. Were a very small company and Im the only person that does this job’. I ask, ‘If not me, then who IS listed on the account?’ They say they can’t tell me as I do not pass their security clearance test. They ask who else is an authorized user and I give them my IT Manager’s name. They say he can give me permission to access my own account and they’ll send him an email while we wait. My IT Manager isn’t in the office today, so I say I’ll call him at home. I explain the mess to my co-worker and ask him to check his email. The store reps wander off. I wait. Nothing happens. A few minutes later I go find one of the reps hiding in the back office and ask what’s going on. He rudely tells me he’s working on it. I say not to bother, take his name (Jeff the Solutions Manager) and leave. I call my Verizon TeleSales Rep and she confirms I am listed as the account holder. Then, it dawns on us! My account was set up with my nickname and my ID has my real name (same last name, very similar first names, of course), and Jeff the Solutions Manager simply could not be bothered to make the obvious connection. I wonder if his name is just ‘Jeff’ or ‘Jeffrey’? We may never know.

Stopped in to upgrade to a more expensive phone and the wait was worse than an Apple store. Had a store rep come over 3 times and tell me it would just be a little bit longer. 30 minutes after coming in, I decided to leave. Had my faulty Samsung Galaxy 6 replaced, bought a power pack and some other things. The employee promised the purchases would be on the next months bill, but they were billed immediately and I was not able to change it. I would have delayed the purchase had I known that. Otherwise, the service is great, not a long wait. The transfer of data from my old phone to the new did not go as smoothly as promised, and one of my purchases does not perform as claimed. Would prefer more accurate expectations. Otherwise I am satisfied with Verizons cell service, products and support. Glad I bought phone insurance!
