I went into the store for a return. Went in feeling disappointed in a wedding set to replace my lost one that I had ordered online, it was not the quality I was looking for, and wasnt sure what kind of hassle I would get trying to return. Mike handled my return flawlessly while Rita showed me several pieces, both listened to my concerns and what I was looking for exactly. I was only shown pieces that fit my description no pressure and they were patient with me as I tried on several until we found the perfect set. Walked in feeling disappointed and walked out on cloud 9 with a beautiful wedding set on my finger.
I went into the store for the cleaning of my jewelry. I had been looking online at some tennis necklaces I was hoping to see inside of the store when I arrived for the cleaning. I was told that only tennis bracelets where in the store, but a tennis necklace could be made by picking and choosing my own gems if I wanted. I did not want to do anything too complicated at this time. I had to make a four-hour round trip just to keep my lifetime warranty up to date and so I decided to find something immediate that would help me celebrate the fact that I just earned my educational degree. I chose 3 items to make a set with, and I am elated! The sales lady, Lori, was especially helpful in helping me to match the items perfectly.
My stepdaughter is so happy with her new opal ring. They are very professional and helpful every time we stop in.

Worst customer service!! If the assistant manager wasnt running around and doing half of every job and not finishing. . . What a cluster.. they dont care do a good the first time. What a horrible experience! Rude and incapable. I recommend going to a different store if want to be treated decently. The lady couldnt even show me on my receipt where it shows how my return will be refunded.
I was able to find the ring I wanted but one lady out of the entire staff got an attitude with me when my fiance called and said I could get it shipped earlier to a different store,and with my cash in her hand started raising her voice saying that I was wrong. I do not recommend going to this store.
Today my husband and I went to pick up my wedding set, which he dropped off a little over a month ago, to be soldered together. When we arrived and told the girl who we were and what we were there for, she went and got the ring and began to examine it. After looking at it, she put it in the machine to clean it, stated, It had a little residue left on it. After cleaning, she had her manager look at as they whispered amongst themselves over by their counter. She eventually brought it over and handed it to me to look at. The first thing I noticed was how crooked it was!!! It doesnt even line up. So much so that it fits a lot smaller than it used to, it used to be loose. My husband asked to see and before I could say it was uneven, he said, “that’s really crooked. The girl asked if anything was wrong, so we told her our thoughts. She walked back to their desk and had the manager look at it. She looked for a long time, another girl came and looked at it.. The manager stated, They must be different size rings, so I spoke up and told her, They were purchased from this store as a set. She looked some more and came over to us and said, “This is how its supposed to look”. After talking for a moment and stated how upset I was that they were so crooked and it didnt fit right any more, she stated, You’re right, this is bad work and I am going to bring this up in the managers meeting this week. They said they could send it back to have it redone, but I was unsure of trusting them to do it again. Especially since weve trusted them once and came back so wrong, I didnt want to send it out again for another long amount of time to have it messed with. When I told the manager I didnt trust the company to have them attempt to fix my ring again, the lady recanted her statement of the ring being done wrong and how it was bad work, and told us that there was nothing wrong with the ring, thats how its supposed to look. She then continued to insist that there was nothing wrong with the ring, even though it is visible uneven. After discussing what could be done, I was finally so upset, to the point I was crying, I told the manager I didnt want to send my ring back, to be redone, so I asked for my ring back, asked how much it cost so we could just go, and she said there would be no charge for the soldering so I said thank you and I left store, with my crooked ring, crying and very hurt. My husband stayed a few moments longer, to express their bad business, and how he was upset about how terrible the ring the ring turned out, and the fact they had made me cry and left. In the end I guess I’m trying to inform others of their terrible tactics and customer service at the Minot ND Zale’s, in Dakota Square Mall.
The staff is so rude and unprofessional-- even on the phone when you call to ask a simple question. They are extremely curt and act annoyed at having to do their job. You could ask the same question to 3 different people and get 3 different answers. I wish we would have purchased my engagement ring elsewhere.
I had the worst experience with the staff. My husband ordered me a ring for Christmas, I wore it a couple weeks and lose diamonds out of it. I took it to the minot store for repair. They sent it to factory and it came back with scratches on the band and different color diamonds in it. It looked horrible. The lady was rude when I told her I didnt want it. She ordered me the same ring from different store, wore that one for a little while and lost diamonds again! So I went back to Minot and she said well maybe just pick a different one, so I did. Then she charged me $100 something for warranty that I didnt want. At this point I was over it all. It is now July and I am on the 3 Rd time being there. I took off the new( different) ring that same night and the band was bent and missing a side diamond. I went back again 4th time now. And they told me i would have to pick something else or take credit. No I want my money back!! She told me it was over 60days and they cant give money back. What 60 days? The 3rd ring hadnt even been 24 hrs. She was the worst. She was rude every time I went there. Finally sent a check to us in the amount of first ring. I will never deal with that lady again. Horrible customer service!
I felt chewed out by the staff when I lost a stone. They took over an hour to process 3 items. I never received a call back letting me know my stuff was in and when I called the store 15 minutes early today and they said they couldn’t help me because they weren’t open. Why did they bother answering if they can’t help??
Staff seems to be inconvenienced by helping customers. Very poor customer service and unpleasant experiences. Most of the staff is rude and unenthusiastic to help.
Staff is rude and the store doesnt keep records of warranty information either. If you want good customer service, your better off spending your money at another store.
