Dr. Bartlett and Laura are wonderful to work with!! I always feel very comfortable with my exam and confident that the doctor is doing all he can to help me see my best. Laura is unbelievably friendly and patient!! She never makes me feel bad for asking questions or like she is too busy for me.

One of the worst customer service I ever had. I went there for my 3 yo daughter 2 months ago. I was uncertain about the frame I was choosing for her and before I could say anything it was already ordered, I was presented the bill with an additional insurance added on but not explained thoroughly. I paid despite my doubts, waited almost 2 weeks to receive her glasses, sure enough the color was not was I was expecting and it was not flattering at all on her. I went back and explained I didn’t like it, I was given the cold shoulder and a strong pushback to exchange the glasses for another frame, in a nutshell it was my fault. Discouraged by their attitude and the idea to wait a long time again I dropped the ball on this one.Fast forward to 10 days ago, my daughter broke her glasses. I contacted the store to see how to get a replacement, they were more concerned about making sure I knew I needed to pay the $25 copay than hurrying up and ordering the replacement frame. I had to text and call several times the same day because they were supposed to check if they had another frame in store.... by the end of the day they finally responded that no but will order the replacement frame (and don’t forget to pay the copay!). It has been 10 days, haven’t heard back from them, my poor 3 yo is dealing with a taped frame to hold it on her face, she absolutely needs her glasses. This. Is. So. Unacceptable.Never again Pearle Vision!!!!!

I had a great experience at Pearle Vision in Mishawaka. I hadn’t had an eye exam in over 10 years and everyone walked me through what they were doing so I felt comfortable. I really liked Dr. Bartlett. He was understanding of my concerns (my parents have bad vision, I work with computers all day, and I was seeing floaters for a short while) and went through multiple tests with me. Ultimately though, I still have very good vision and he wasn’t trying to push glasses on me. He left it entirely up to me. I didn’t go with glasses today, but I will likely go back in a year and reevaluate. When I do, I’ll definitely be going to Pearle Vision.

Pearle Vision MishawakaMy husband and I get eye exams in Michigan, where we live, but always travel to Pearle Vision in Mishawaka for glasses. The staff, frame selection and welcoming atmosphere have kept us returning year after year. Laura and Malia are very helpful with honest frame selection, proper fittings and resolving issues or answers to questions. Never disappointed in quality or customer service!Also, very Covid cautious! Feel confident they do everything they can to keep everyone safe. Thanks!

Dr Bartlett was so thorough with my dad, who cannot talk due to a stroke. He explained things in ways all the other doctors didnt and made an otherwise difficult visit so comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and recommend!

Amazing opthalmologist at this location, never had such a thorough eye exam before.Glasses are pricy and can take awhile to come in but they are worth it in the end. Clearest vision that I can remember.

Out of all the vision centers I have been to this has to be the best yet. The entire staff is so helpful, great at explaining everything and the nicest group of people I have came across. The doctor is amazing with a great sense of humor. I would give 10 stars if I could. I do not plan on going anywhere else from now on. This will permanently be my eye care home.

This place was amazing! The ladies who helped get me checked in and with my glasses are very knowledgeable about fit and function of the frames. The technician was very knowledgeable about the procedure and was friendly. Dr. Bartlett really took the time to explain to me what my eyes were doing and how the eye works. Dr. Bartlett is a rockstar when it comes to treating the eyes. I have very bad vision (-6 power) with allergies so Im not an easy case to deal with. Hes patient and extremely kind. He explains everything thoroughly so you understand exactly why hes prescribing/recommending something. Hes also wonderful with kids. My son loves going to see Dr. Bartlett and cant wait for his appointment. He looks forward to it because Dr. Bartlett makes the visit fun for him. Dr. Bartlett is the best and you wont regret seeing him. Also Belinda his back office assistant is so friendly and extremely efficient.The front office staff are great as well. We see them a lot throughout the year for adjustments and they always fix our crooked glasses with a smile.

Best eye exam I’ve ever had. Doctor was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I will be coming back here every year.If you’re buying glasses here be prepared for sticker shock. Cost about 5x what Eyemart charges. I hope the higher quality they promised is worth it. Will know in a few weeks when they are ready to pick up. Yes, a few weeks.

Came as a walk-in after getting my glasses (which had been purchased elsewhere) damaged during a basketball game. They fixed them within a few minutes and did so with great courtesy and cheerfulness. They also offered to check the calibration on the glasses of a friend who was with me, improving the quality of his as well. All this was given at no charge. Highly recommend!!!

Ive always used Pearl Vision. I have a difficult prescription which a lot of the local eye places struggle with, but Pearl Vision always gets it right. This past time I went in, Laura helped me. I didnt realize they closed at 5p that day and it was like 4:40p. I told her I could come in another day (I had to pick out frames and Im super picky so it takes me a while). She said not to worry about it, take my time, and she will get everything ordered for me. Laura treated me like a queen! She made sure I had the best of the best as far as price and quality of product. She was so very kind to me. It made the whole experience 100% better.

I love this office and would recommend it to anyone. The staff is always very friendly and helpful when picking out glasses and explaining the process to you. Dr. Bartlett is always very thorough and explains everything in depth when it comes to your eye imaging and every piece of health that ties into it. I have never learned so much from an eye doctor. I always enjoy my visits at the office! Great frame selections as well!

Love this place. Dr bartlett and staff are amazing. he is so kind and is patient with you and doesn’t make you feel like he is pushing you into anything. He puts you as the patient first 100% of time. You really feel like a person there rather than just another number or just mother patient to rush through. The staff including the ladies up front are all excellent as well. They knew I was on a limited budget and worked with me on my bill as well as price matching my contacts so they were more affordable. They all really truly care about each and every patient. I will be coming here for many years to come!

My daughter and I had our first appointments with Dr. Bartlett a few weeks ago and I was very happy with both him and the quality of appointment. He did not try to push anything on me and was very patient and kind with my daughter and took the time to explain everything to her. I did end up choosing to get another pair of glasses and the staff were very kind and worked with my budget to find the perfect pair and lenses for me. I just picked up my glasses today and they are perfect. I’m very happy with the whole experience and will continue to keep going to Pearle Vision.

I cant begin to explain how amazing Dr. Matt Bartlett is. Ive been going to him for a few years now and Ive never been let down. The workers at the store are all really sweet and helpful, too! Dr. Bartlett, though, cares so much for each and every patient. He wants the best for you and generally cares, which isnt something you find often in doctors.I highly recommend. I know its just for vision care, you may think, but you get so much more by going to see him. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

The ladies on the sales floor are wonderful. Took the time to explain my sons prescription, and supply me with some extras that he would need in the coming months as he is going to school out of state. Also, I was ecstatic that his glasses arrived way ahead of schedule, despite the holidays. I thought I was going to have to send them to him, so thanks to the lab as well.

Laura has been helping me with my glasses for years she is extremely knowledgeable of all the different choices. Today I had the pleasure of working with Malia and I received the same customer service from her as I have from Laura! If your looking for a store to purchase eye-wear that is hassle free and customer service is awesome Pearle Vision on Grape road is the only place to purchase your new glasses, great selection as well!!

UPDATE: After voicing my concerns with the store manager, they were able to take care of the issues that I had experienced the first time around. If you go to this location and end up with issues, I would recommend surfacing them and asking they be fixed - they were quite accommodating.The people are nice, but their prices seem high and the quality from the lab is inconsistent.I recently went in with an outside prescription, which wasn’t a problem. I picked out a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses, and went through the process of their employee (presumably an optician, but I’m not sure) pricing things out. As another reviewer mentioned, the complete glasses came to between $800 and $900 for a single Rx (not bi or tri-focal) lens. We made some adjustments, applied my insurance and the final price came to $650, which is fine if the quality is great. I have no problem paying for quality.Guess what – the quality was not amazing. The roll & polish (which they charged $32 for, and is $6 at other local offices) was flawed. There are gaps between the lens and the frame. Without explaining anything, they put in the lowest index (i.e. thickest) lenses I’ve ever seen on both the reading glasses and the sunglasses.I’ve already told them the sunglasses were unacceptable, and I’ll see whether they are willing to correct all the issues.

Both my son and I had eye exams with Dr. Bartlett, with terrific results! He is a warm, personable and caring doctor, who explained things to us very well. He took the time to find out the cause of both my sons and my vision problems, and create prescriptions to help. We both see better now, thanks to his caring and expertise. We also had very good experiences with the staff that assisted with our glasses purchases. They were patient and very informative. We highly recommend Pearle Vision and Dr. Bartlett!

Dr Matt Bartlett and staff have been very accommodating and go out of their way to help however they can. I highly recommend giving this location a try if youre shopping for a caring staff that goes the extra mile. My Lasik correction surgery was a success, I can see better than 20/20. The service and selection is outstanding! I will continue to take my business to Pearle Vision and thats mainly due to the excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are completely satisfied. They have a great selection and theres always new styles to choose from which always gets me in trouble lol. The VA referred me to Dr. Bartlett several years ago. He is a great doctor who takes his time with patients. I cannot imagine another doctor that would have spent so much time with me to correct my vision. He is simply the best.

I had my first appt yesterday and I was not prepared with my insurance. They were able to get my information quickly. The entire process was fast, efficient and handled with professionalism and care. Dr. Matt is absolutely amazing and again very efficient and thorough. I absolutely enjoyed every step of the process and every person I interacted with. It is a healthcare provider and therefore, the process takes time to accurately assess the patient. I appreciated their thoroughness and efficiency. I didnt feel an hour and a half to be out of bounds for the care and treatment I received. I will tell everyone that needs eye care about Dr. Matts top notch care and his great staff! The original service was fine but then I got a scratch on my lens and had the warranty. It was supposed to take 7-10 days to replace the scratched lens. I dropped them off on a Monday and then I called the following Monday and was told 7 business days. I called again at day 13 and was told that they quote everyone 10-14 days and today was day 13. Well, in fact I was told 7-10 days and I was already aware that it was day 13 (a Saturday). I called again the following Monday and they started checking into it and found out my lenses didnt pass the quality control so they needed redone. I would have thought since it has already been two weeks, my order should have went to the front of the orders, but not so. Two more weeks went by and I needed to call again looking for my glasses because I didnt hear from them. A WHOLE MONTH without my glasses and I work on the computer for a living! When I did call and the clerk called looking for my glasses, she got the run around as well. My glasses were listed as shipped and delivered already and she was also told they were still at the lab. She had to look into it further but then called me an hour later because the glasses actually DID come in on the truck. SMH!! Too many places to purchase glasses to get this run around!!

The doc was very helpful, actually one of the best weve seen. The issue is the cost of glasses...We were the third customer to walk out after hearing their costs. The retail price of our glasses was $800+. The customers prior to us were $1100 and $900. We were absolutely floored. We decided to shop this around, obviously.We are now walking out of Target Optical having spent $50 on a very comparable frame (we liked the frame better, and just for reference, the exact same frame was $75 cheaper here).Just an FYI for folks, if you feel their pricing is high...IT IS!!!

The people here are wonderful, from the optometrist to the ladies on the floor that help you get your glasses I have been going here since I moved to Indiana in 2015 I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Doctor is great and friendly, gets you the best vision for you and your eyes. The girls do great in helping you with glasses for you and making your payment as affordable as possible and both very friendly. Higley recomend coming to this place.
