Wine Merchants helped to make our pandemic experience almost enjoyable! After the first few weeks of lockdown with three small children, my husband and I were ready to rip our hair out. When we found out that Wine Merchants delivers, we were ecstatic and ordered all the things! I’m now convinced that there’s nothing good wine and charcuterie can’t fix. I love Missoula Wine Merchants. They have an amazing and vast selection of wines of all varieties. They also have prices for all ranges depending on what you are looking for including lots of bottles under $20. The best part is being able to go in and chat with one of their knowledgeable staff about what I like and what they have to accommodate. The thing is they make you feel just as comfortable if you buy a $15 bottle or a $80 bottle.

The staff are super helpful without being pushy. They seem genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their selections, and eager to pair you with a bottle that matches your taste and budget. I have never felt pressured to spend more than I was comfortable (they have some great options in the $15 - $20 range), and never judged for my questions. I have had fun trying different varieties across different price points, with or without meals, and for special occasions as well as everyday; they have not led me astray.

This crew has so much knowledge and is beyond willing to share. Laid-back style. They have deepened my appreciation for wine... on a nurses budget!

Always a friendly and extremely helpful staff. More then just wine with lovely additions to any gift for the wine lover in your family. The staff will also be able to get that perfect bottle, all you really need to know is maybe a color or type of wine. They have always helped get the perfect addition to our Christmas spent at the cabin in Western Montana.

They are knowledgeable and can make some amazing pairing recommendations. Also, if you cant find something specific, they can make some recommendations on similar wines.

The people who work here are well educated on wines, they can quickly find a good match if you tell them what tastes you are looking for, and they can find a wine for you at a decent price.

All I know about wine is that I like to drink it. That is why I love this shop. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Had some friends over for dinner and they helped me pick out a few bottle that paired well with the meal. They made me look like a wine pro instead of a wino. This is now my go to shop for wine.

Great wine shop! Staff is very helpful and gives great advice. The shop carries a wide assortment of old and new world wines over a variety of prices ranges (including a big table of wines under $20!). The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable with wines displayed logically by region and varietal. They also sell cheeses and charcuterie and other snacks to pair with your purchase. Best place in town to grab a bottle!

What an incredible store. I was pleasantly surprised to encounter such an eclectic and thoughtful wineshop upon moving to Missoula. They have a diverse selection and the people that work there are always so kind an helpful. It is, by far, the best place in town for wine.

Super selection of Italian wines. The staff were as generous with tips about local swimming holes as they were knowledgeable about wine. We will be back on our next trip through Missoula.

Finally! Im from NYC and miss neighborhood wine shops and Ive been wanting a shop just like this in Missoula. The first time I went there I was transported because the place is just so inviting and I felt like I was in Portland or Seattle. Lets get to the good stuff though - the wine selection is fantastic and the price point is pretty comparable to virtually any place in town.Whats also nice is that they sell great merchandise. I bought several gift baskets for my work colleagues and they all loved it. Doug, the owner, helped me pick out fantastic items for the gift basket that totally met the price point I was willing to spend.Overall - excellent service, fantastic and diverse wines at a reasonable price point. Its now the only place I buy wine.
