I would love to publicly acknowledge Chamekia. Yesterday she was helping out at the HWY 6 location and had to be the messenger of bad news to let me know that my unit amongst others units had been burglarized. I am currently not in state and she was kind enough to go out here way to send me pictures of my unit to see what had been taken, also giving me police personnel information on the report they made. She was nice, polite and handled this in a manner that I greatly respect. I deeply admire great customer service and Chamekia deserves her own store location for the maturity and helpfulness she displayed. I am at ease now with the information and help I received from her. This is a perfectly located facility! Everything is on the first level. Most importantly the customer service I received from Richard was AMAZING! He was very thorough and was able to answer all of my questions. To top it all off he offered to help to me to my car with my moving supplies. I have rented before but this was definitely the best experience I’ve had.

After talking to Richard a couple times. I finally came in and rented a unit. His persistence to give me the best deal before the units were all rented was awesome. Great work ethic. Also, instead of him going to lunch. He showed me the unit and did all the paperwork for me. Thanks again!

Ive been renting a storage space for the past 5 years. Its in a nice area of town and the units are taken pretty good care of. Mr. Richard is very pleasant and helpful and provide excellent customer service. Helped me get a good price on a bigger unit that Im transferring to.

We had a storage at the Sugar Land location for about three years. Richard, the site manager, is such a pleasure to work with. The site is always clean and we always felt confident our belongings were under a watchful eye. We just recently vacated the unit now that we purchased a home, but should we ever need public storage again, we won’t hesitate to give Richard a call.

Mr. Richard is a kind and helpful gentleman. This is my first experience with storing he explained the entire process to me. I appreciate his kindess.

Its convenient but if youre going to use this place, try to keep it short term because their rental increases are way too high. We use it to store signs for our real estate business and supplies for our rental properties. We started renting a 10x10 unit in July of 2012 for $94. Our rent in July of 2017 is $153. That equates to a 10% a year compounded increase in rent.

My three years of utilizing services with the Dulles location Public Storage has been that of excellence and professionalism. The property attendants Richard, and Eileen at this Dulles location displayed a great attitude, provided bottled cool water as a courtesy as well as provided courtesy calls leaving messages to communicate whenever necessary. Kudos to both Richard and Eileen and to the Dulles location Public Storage for honoring whatever the Retention and Retaining methods / processes set in place to retain such dedicated, professional, helpful and pleasant staff on board. My mother has a storage unit here which I decided to put some of my belongings in when we decided to downsize into a place with her. The first few months were great. We had been going back and forth getting things we needed with no issues. A while goes by without us going to the storage and when we did go back my husband brought home a box. As soon as I opened it I saw there was urine on the papers inside. I called the storage and spoke with Richard to let him know I believe there were rats in our unit and we put a trap in there. He informed me that anytime he sees someone coming in he follows them to give them bait and I was welcome to come by anytime to get bait. Meaning he knows there is a rodent problem. We then decided to move our stuff out a few weeks later. By that time when my husband went back the place was infested with rats. There was a strong smell of urine and feces on our and my mother’s belongings. Including visible dead rats. My mother contacted the storage to see what could be done. I have small children at home and she is going through chemo for breast cancer so neither of us feel comfortable going in there. Richard and the owner of the place were rude to my mother and basically told her there is nothing they can do! She has to clean it out herself or it will be considered abandonment. And that she had to pay for everything to be cleaned plus the abandonment charge. Richard also told her “you know there’s a rodent problem in this area”. WE ARE NOT FROM HERE! She already has plenty on bills with chemo!My point is BE CAREFUL before you put your stuff here. There is a definitely a rodent problem they are not willing to deal with!

I live down the street and i came in a few weeks ago just for pricing which i found out i couldnt store my non-running vehicle but was so impressed with the customer service i received from Chamekia, that i decided to clean out my garage, store my car there and bring the things from garage to public storage.

I made a reservation online and within 10 minutes I received a call from Richard who was very helpful with getting me the best unit and held a bigger unit just in case. When i saw the unit it was a bit small but Richard showed me the on he held and it was perfect. It took less than an hour for everything and was a great experience.

It was a last minute situation for me and he made my move transition a very smooth one, especially since I needed somewhere to store all of my things for 3-4 weeks! My wife and I rented unit 135 to temporarily store our household goods in our move from Pennsylvania to Texas. The unit was clean and large and it easily accommodated the contents of a 26 foot moving van. The location of this storage facility is easily accessed from either Highway 6 or Route 90A but is located in a residential section that gives it a neighborhood feel and a feeling of security. I was at the facility after dark on several occasions and the lighting of the grounds and security fencing added to the non-threatening environment. RIchard, the site manager, is a very hospitable person who keeps customer service in the forefront. He guided me through the paperwork to rent the unit and conversed with me often as I visited the unit to see if everything was okay and ensuring that our rental experience was a pleasant one. I enjoyed my experience with this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a public storage unit.

I am editing my review because the man that works here forces you to leave a good review the day you rent a unit from here. It is a terrible place. We left our furniture in here for 3 months and it got infested with rat feces and urine. All of our furniture was ruined, the rats made holes in everything and it smelled terrible. They offered no help or compensation and the insurance offers a $50 cleaning fee if I could provide the recipients for everything I owned. Terrible experience. Please use another location.
