Great place to get your material from sales team is Awesome. But, as far as getting material you might as well help your self or bring a helper cause the guys in the back will just sit there and watch you work. I cant tell you how many times Ive been in there to get 6x6s from 12ft to 16ft and had to load them by myselfs cause the guys on the rack do not pay attention and they will not help you. Then when the do come to help you they take there sweet time about it or they will sit there and watch you work and then getting the ticket back from them is a nightmare. But, other then that Mobile Lumber is a great place to get Material from.

Terrible customer servicesThey close for inventory regularly every year but they can’t count. Second time they have charged my card sold me a product just to pull around back and find out they don’t have any in stock. Yard guy says it happens all the time.

Even though the staff seemed knowledgeable about the products offered here, the vibe of this business is pretentious to say the least. I came in with my girlfriend and her son. We came within 6 ft of several middle-aged employees and werent greeted once. I had to approach the counter and ask for what I needed (which they didnt have) then I was left to my own devices finding anything else useful in the store. This could have been tolerable if it werent for the same employees greeting other customers with warm, inviting hellos and good wishes.

I ordered fence pickets from them, paid over phone, and had delivered a week later no problem. I call back a few days later to ask if I can get a few more and am told they havent had any in weeks and I must be confused about who I got them from. I call back the next day and am told theres 30 left but they dont take payments over the phone. It sounds to me like the employees each have their own rules they go by 🙄

We have been remodeling our home and I have been looking for a front door for about 2 months now with no luck and very little enthusiasm to sell me a door. I happen to stumble across Mobile Lumber and Yvette was a breath of fresh air when it came to picking out the perfect front door. She was very knowledgeable, nice, fast and her follow through was great. Within 24 hours she had my pricing and order placed for me, even saved me a trip back to West Mobile by handling everything over the phone. Went there a couple of Saturdays ago to look at front doors. Complete waste of time. We were not greeted when walking in, no one came over to assist us, or acknowledged us when we left. Not much selection out on the floor for what we were looking for and no customer service was offered.

This place has been here for decades and at least 4 of those decades I have used them for many project needs. Good folks, wonderful environment and the men in the yard do not get enough praise. So here is to you gentlemen for doing such an outstanding job day in and day out.

I recently went in to Mobile Lumber looking for supplies to help rejuvenate my back deck. I spoke with a representative about what materials I would need to remove the dirt and grime and bring it back to its original shine. After speaking with the representative that helped me out she explained that if I ever had any other questions about doing any type of home improvement or project around the house that I could call her personally or send her an email and she would take care of me. I was really please with my overall experience at Mobile Lumber and will definitely be going back there for all my home improvement needs.

My preferred place to buy my lumber and materials. The workers here can break down piece by piece on what you will need for anything you are building. The workers here go above and beyond for first time builders and professional builders. Would go here over Lowes or Home Depot in a heartbeat!

This is the best hardware store in Mobile. Much more a home town store. They treat you like a person not a number.

ML is a great place for all your building needs. The staff is Amazing.

The folks there are really friendly and helpful. They dont have the amount of different stuff the Lowes and home Depot have, but I would rather go there and check first for what I need.

Watch out, they do not always accept returns on some items and they will not give you a heads up

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had never been to this place so I was unsure if customers were allowed to walk through the warehouse. Naturally I ask the clerk at the desk or at least tried to ask and when I say this guy gave the impression that he us too busy to deal with me. The guy wouldnt even stop typing or even give me the common decency of looking at me when he responded. At first I was thinking maybe I was asking to much due to me being a vet and being so use to people at least looking at you to acknowledge your existence but when he proceeded to continue typing and responding with very short answers I knew then it wasnt me. Everyone is entitled to a bad day and I get that but you work in the customer service industry for God sakes. A little hospitality would go a long way. I guess its on to the next lumber yard.

Good place to get all your buildings needs

The items I purchased were not available & what was available was not 1st quality.None of the items offered for pick-up were straight & defect free.I had to be very firm in my demand for a full refund.The experience took over 1.5 hours to:1) place the order2) have the order hand written3) pay for the order4) drive around to pick up the order5) walk inside and inform of the poor quality and insufficient quantity6) walk back out to pick up to show inside sales the poor quality and insufficient quantity7) walk back inside to ask - then demand a refund8) wait while the entire order was again hand written and wait for my refundA complete waste of time.1.5 hours to accomplish nothing.

Great prices, nice people that work there.

As Im watching the framing company wait for Mobile Lumber to bring the materials to Dauphin Island as I type this, Im wondering why its Tuesday and theyve wasted all our time.
