Took my laptop by the shop in Tillmans Corner today and in less than 30 minutes the technician had identified the problem. This computer had sat in a local electronic fixit shop four weeks with no progress so i pulled it out and tried Computer Resource. They have the part ordered the same day and the repair is expected to be complete in less than a week. Recommend.

Computer Resource installed a video screen cable that I purchased off Amazon for my laptop that was displaying a blank white screen which requires disassembling the entire mother board as well as removing the screen bezel. I took my laptop and cable to them on Saturday 9/17/16 at 12 noon and they where done with it by 3:15 pm. They close on Saturdays at 3 pm which means they could have closed down and left and made me wait until Monday to pick up my laptop, but they didnt. The guy who installed my video screen cable said he had to install it twice because the first time it didnt work because of the way the supplier (Amazon seller) had it wrapped/coiled up in the box, but after playing around with it, he got it to work. He could have called me after the first time he tried it and just said it was a bad cable, but NO, he went the extra mile to satisfy his customer. When I brought my laptop in, the screen and bezel was loose due to the fact that I changed out the screen myself by following a YouTube video thinking that would fix my issue (which it didnt) and while doing so, I broke off some of the screws that hold the screen in place. The guy working on my laptop was able to put my screen and bezel back together correctly so you could never tell I broke the screws within it without me even asking him to do so. To top it all off, they only charged me a total of $ 50. I wasted $ 50 at another computer repair shop for them to do a diagnosis / absolutely nothing for me, if anything, made my situation worst. These guys actually know what they are doing. They are fast at their services, reliable, and their prices are fair. Thanks again.

The owner, Paul, went out of his way to insure my issues were resolved quickly so that I could get my computer back the same day. I will never use anyone else but them for all my computer needs.

Took my laptop in that was no longer booting, and within a day they figured out what was wrong and what it was going to take to fix it. Decided to update the OS to Windows 10 while we were doing this work. Extremely pleased with the service and the price. I have used them in the past and I will use them again in the future.

These people are great. Fair and Definately honest. They look out for the customer best interest and value. I took my lap top in to see what was wrong. Could it be economily be repaired or do I need a new one. Mother board was shot. I didnt want to loose all my files. Could they retrieve the memory??? They took another computer put my hard drive in it and did all the stuff they have to do. In every respect the computer is a much better computer then my old one. I didnt loose any thing and this one is faster and has more memory. The price was far less then what I could have bought a new one for. Oh yes they stayed open long after hours to serve me and make sure I had what I needed. Im in the customer service business and these people are the prime example of 5 Star customer service. Listening and responding to the customers needs.

I am not located in Mobile, i went there twice to drop off and pick up; why should i come right away for the third time? I am a full-time employee and a college student. I have to travel back and forwards to school and libraries now since my computer hasnt gotten repaired at my convenience.

Very helpful knowledgeable technician that goes out of his way to help! I drive from North Mobile just to have him fix my laptops. I have never had any problems with anything he has fixed. Whereas, my computers have been destroyed by other computer repair shops. He is knowledgeable of both Apple products and PCs. I highly recommend coming to this shop!!!

These Guys are Great !!!! They came out to our Office and Cleaned our Computer which were running really slow and they did it at a affordable rate i would use Computer Resource again for all our Business needs !!!

I brought in a Lenovo laptop that had water accidentally spilled on it, the diagnosis was free and they were able to discover the problem, which was a motherboard which is hard to get and/or expensive for this particular laptop. I was able to work with the staff and have it repaired to my satisfaction, something that I cannot say for other computer repair shops on the Gulf Coast. Would come back for problems in the future and would recommend other people come there to have their computer problems fixed as well.

Below is my original review..where id given them a two. Since then, the OWNER contacted me to give them another chance, and theyd install my mobo for free. I JUST NEEDED A 50CENT RIBBON CABLE. But i took it up there anyway. Didnt bother to mwntion my previous experience with a different location, and instead was a polite and thankful new customer. That was... 9 days ago. At the one week mark i went up there and they hadnt even LOOKED at it. Contacted owner again, and was very polite. I couldnt get it fixed before and lost my job, NOW I cant get ANOTHER job because my laptop is STILL down. He said he was on his way there and would contact me shortly. That was 3 days ago. Fmits bow monday and im comming for my stuff, and it all better be there. Theyve now been downgraded to ONE Star. And it was a long road they traveled to get here, requiring inconpetance on every level from workers at several locations to the owner himself. Three failed attempts and two seperate locations. If thats not a fair review...i dont know what is.---------I give a 2 because ive still heard good things, however, on two seperate occassions tried to use them. First was water on my keyboard that my girlfriend took up there while i was out of town. The keyboard was $40 online and they quoted over $100. Plus, they wanted ovrr $100 for labor. This model took a flat screwdriver to pop it off and plug in another. Took me 3 minutes and change. To get it BACK they wanted a diagnostic fee despite advertising to the contrary. I told them i was leaving with it, and they were WELVOME to try and stop me. Months later I was stuck at work and needed to inquire about a repair by email to a different location of theirs. Their website has a form for this. I sent it twice. On both occassions I didnt recieve any type of reply whatsoever. And, as such, i still dont have a working laptop at home - just a doorstop. Over a 99 cent ribbon cable to connect the power button.

My laptop had been broken since summer and it was time to get it fixed because I had some extra cash. I googled computer repair shops and came across Computer Resource, they had good reviews so I gave them a call. Trevor advised me to bring in my laptop and it would $150. So i brought it in and she said that my laptop needed a special screen. I thought that meant the worst, waiting a century and paying millions, but fortunately they had my screen in stock and he didnt even charge me extra! I paid $150 and honestly was there for 15 min. GREAT PLACE!! BTW my laptop was 15.6 sony viao.

My iPhone screen was completely shattered and they replaced it within 2 hours, as good as new.

WOW !!! Found this Place traveling through down my hard drive had crashed they were able to get me back up and running while saving all my data the same day !!! I would use these guys even with i get back home which is hours away !!!

Bought a computer from these jokers a year ago & within the past year the computer has completely fell apart.Motherboard crashed.....After I pulled the tower apart I could see several flaws in how they assembled the gamer tower (as it was hand built and not a store box unit).....the Nvidia Geforce video card was crammed in there incorrectly, the brackets were bent to make it fit into the case....now I have no problem with bending brackets so that a card can be installed but this looked like it was done by a chimpanzee....It is no wonder that the computer overheated and the motherboard crashed, it was built by these jokers that shouldnt be allowed around a set of tools....Although their sales pitch is that box units from Wal-Mart cant oftentimes be tailored to what you specifically want I think I will stay with Wal-Mart from now on.....At least Wal-Mart stands behind their products and they arent idiots that cram a computer together like a pack of gorillas....
