We have found the USCG Exchange at USCG Aviation Center in Mobile staff very friendly and accommodating.They have a great selection of products including men, Womens and childrens clothing, uniforms, womens assessories, jewelry, outdoor items, furniture, sporting good, electronics, and personal care items. They also have a large selection of alcoholic beverages and a limited supply of grocery items. It is a great place to shop for the active military and the retired military personnel..

They need to pay more attention to the line at the register. I saw several employees walking around with at list 12 people in line at the register. They always have only one register open. We ended up leaving because the line wasnt moving.

This location has unfair hiring practices. I plan to write to corporate to make them aware of how they continue to solicit for employees and have yet to hire individuals or interview them even after being overqualified for the job. Do not post a job opening unless you are ready to hire.

A small, but good exchange. They have clothing, jewelry, alcohol, and a small electronics section. Very friendly service!They have uniform tailoring available, though it isnt on site. They pick up your uniforms on either Tuesday or Thursday and have them ready fairly quickly

Is United States Coast Guard response to all natural disasters, drownings and they they play. A very big part and protecting our borders from drugs these guys deserve a big thank. You for protecting us the next time you see one walk up thank his hand and thank him for his service.

Make sure you bring TWO forms of ID if youre a black or brown War Veteran. No matter how many countries Ive been to fighting for my country, Im always reminded of my race when I return home to the United States of America. I observed to white people come into the exchange without showing ID, but when a person of color comes in, she breaks her neck to see some military ID. Maybe the ones before me were regular customers? Even so you must check EVERYONES ID, no matter what to have integrity. No surprise. At least the VA treats ALL veterans horrible regardless of race.

Most female clothes are directed towards older lady designs. Most of the store is for alcohol. Seems more like a retiree store.

Wouldnt let me bring my brother in without an ID hes 15. I used to be able to bring whoever i wanted with me. New policy im guessing.

Any benefit of having the exchange is outweighed by how long it takes to check out. My wife and I have gotten out of line and left multiple times. They should at least bring the uniformed persons to the front of the line so we can hurry up and get back to work, rather than wait 15mins behind someone exchanging/returning booze.
