Its very clean and organized. The staff were helpful and eager to give their assistance. The prices are average for a tool store. They do not have a large selection to choose from in each category, but what they have is reasonably priced.I just wouldnt drive across town thinking youre are getting a great deal

Just recently started shopping from Northern Tool online and I have to say that they are on top of their game. Prices are very competitive. Had an order canceled and my Paypal account still had my money on hold. I called and spoke to a rep named John (do not know the last name). He put me on hold while trying contact their finance department. Unfortunately, he wasnt able to get through but he informed me that he will call me back the next day when my concern is resolved. I received a call from John the next morning letting me know that my issue should be resolved, and I should get the credit back into my paypal account in a day or two. I checked after talking to him and it was already credited back. I have since ordered more from Northern Tool, and will be ordering in the near future.

In store customer service was awesome. Website is very broken, and even worse on mobile. If I have just one item that requires shipping it forces the whole order to be shipped. I have a dedicated payment for my personal shop related purchases and now I have to use and alternative method which is inconvenient. Other than that I have no complaints. I will give five stars purely based on the customer service I was provided in store.

They dont always have the things Im looking for, but if I wanted to travel a hundred miles I could get them, its not a really huge store. But I like the ship to store features, I hope it ships there quickly.

Shopped at the McDonough GA store many times. First time at the store in Mobile AL. I called to verify pick up options for my son traveling between Austin TX and Panama City Beach FL. (No Northern Tool in PCB) Most helpful. Clear communication. Ordered online. The NT website has options for curbside pickup and I was able to easily designate my son as my proxy for pickup.

Purchased 2k dollar spray rig on 3/20. Barely used pump sheered bolts off. Told me it wasn’t covered due to filter being clogged. Been using 6 and 8 roller pumps for years w no problems same chemicals. If you want a spray rig for pesticides, these spray rigs are not for you.

Updated from 1 star to 3 stars.. the product was good but my purchase was supposed to arrive for pickup in 2 weeks, it took 2 months! They did not communicate at all. I had to reach out each week regarding the status of my order and they only said it wasn’t available and then was in transit. They never told me it would arrive. One day I called and they said it was waiting for me, that was after 2 months, making it 6 weeks late.

Well northern tools has no customer service we ordered a set of ramps 4 weeks ago suppose to been her 1 week agoI wouldnt shop there again it was one of the worse experience of shopping they dont answer the phone they put u on hold for 30 to 40 mins and magically the ramps was in 20 mins ago.

Was able to complete my order and process it with the help of Jill. A truly great experience

We have a lot of equipment with small engines, so we went twice to purchase a 13hp motor after driving 11/2 hours. They didnt have the power horse brand in stock, only the honda engine both times. Which cost twice the price as the power horse. I had to order the power horse online. I was told it could take 7-10 days to arrive at the store. So I have to go back and pick it up. I call and asked when will they have more motors in stock. I was told, it would be next spring since its a spring item. I was very disappointed to hear that. I can go to Lowes or Harbor freight and get the other items they have in stock. I wish they will stock more major items so we can purchase at the store. Most major items are on display and has to be ordered. They will not sell the display items. No need to build the store if we still have to order at the store and it takes the same amount of time to get it as if I ordered online or the catalog (which I got tired of getting in the mail). The customer service from the floor is great but upper management will cause the store to loose sales. There are too many options for the consumer to choose to spend their money these days. Customer service is key. I was excited to see it being built but very disappointed that I have to order the major items. I will get the predator and other items at Harbor Freight again, buy the replacement warranty and just replace it when it fails. Although its my opinion the small engines are better at Northern Tools, I Dont think I will be going back no time soon. Not when I can pull it off the shelf somewhere else and continue working.Not convenient!!

I am so glad that Northern Tool has finally come to Mobile. This is one of the best tool stores that I have been to. I do a lot of travaling and have visited many tool supply stores. Northern has always been one of my favorites. Nothing in Mobile compares in this type of store. Go and check it out the next time you need tools or organization supplies. I have heard people compare it to Harbor Freight,definitely not.

Great store to have in Mobile. They have a wide variety of brands and quality tools and equipment for any budget to get the job done. There protection plans are hands down some of the best. One stop shop for a man that works with his hands.

Prices are steep, to put it nicely. The staff wasnt rude but they didnt once offer to assist us while we browsed shopped.

They really carry a lot of items that you just can’t get at other local stores. Some of the items I picked up last time I had pretty much given up on being able to find them locally and not order from the internet. They also have a good selection of made in USA products which I really like!
