Angie and Myra were so helpful from the beginning to the end of selecting the perfect selection of glasses and sunglasses. Glasses came quickly and are perfect. I will always remember my experience due to their excellent customer service.

Had a wonderful experience there today. My mother went in for an eye exam (she has a mental illness and can be a handful at times) and the staff was so helpful and did a fantastic job helping us. They were all super polite and understanding. The sales floor manager Prissilla was so much fun and wonderful. The technician in the back Andrew was super nice and helpful. The lab manager Lena was super efficient at getting the glasses done the same day. My mom left super happy with her new glasses. Will definitely be returning for future visits for myself and my mom again

Overall have had a wonderful experience. I had to exchange a pair of glasses and had no problems no hassle. I also had my glass fixed because of a break and again no hassle what so ever. The glasses tech casey was so nice and helpful. I love my glasses and have enjoyed my experience with the staff. I will definitely be recommending to whomever asks about my glasses which I receive compliments for often.

Whitney, made my families experience amazing. Being a bilingual family, she was patient and super helpful. Whitney made sure everything was smooth with the eye exams. She almost speaks down to you instead of helping you. Almost making you feel like you’re stupid. It was sad and overwhelming. It almost makes the environment feel uncomfortable.

My wife and I walked in with 2 different pairs of glasses that were in rough shape. We asked Deborah to do her best and she provided excellent customer service and fixed both pairs in less then 10 minutes. Right after made sure both pairs fit right before we left. This place is number one in Modesto.

I was traveling on business and broke my glasses. I went into the store to get them fixed and get a new pair. Angie, Myra, and especially George gave me the best service Ive had in a long time. From exam to eyeglass selection, I was well taken care of by your staff. Also, I had to leave town before my glasses were finished and asked to have them mailed to me. George made sure he had my correct address and said that it would be no problem. Thank you all.

Not satisfied.Very bad customer service. Customers are forced to buy the frames, otherwise the manager isn’t ready to use the VSP. We have to fully pay for the eye exam.When initially discussed this wasn’t the case, but after the eye exam was done, they changed there commitment.Eye testing was OK.

I never write reviews, but this place was so great I just have to! Service was very fast and the staff was so friendly. I picked out two frames for the buy one get one deal, and because my eyesight is so bad, the cost was a bit high. I didn’t get the name of the man who helped us, but he said he was the general manager. I told him my budget and he helped me to where I could get both of the glasses that I wanted in my price range!I really appreciated his help, more than he might’ve thought. I really recommend coming here, I will definitely be coming back in the future 😊

Manager Mayra rude and unhelpful. We also called the regular phone number and they said they cannot handle the issue because they were a customer service call center and to go in person.In person with Mayra was not effective as she said she would not and could not resolve the issue. She Did not provide good customer service.Mayra over charged our son for his contacts and lied to him about his coverage. Will be calling everyone up to cooperate leadership until this is resolved. Next time we will use LensCrafters.

I walked in and never have even worn sunglasses in my life, let alone glasses. Faith was beneficial; my lack of knowledge had me aimlessly wandering around the store; she made a point of coming up to me, explaining to me what I needed to do, the steps I needed to take, and then walked me through all of the silly questions I had she went above and beyond even using her personal experience with wearing glasses to relate to my situation very helpful made it extremely easy for me to get glasses.

Everything was great and fast until the moment I came back to fix a small matter about my glasses. I waited long when it shouldve only taken 2 minutes. They spent more time on new customers than returning customers. Seems like if youre not making them money that day, your problem wont matter. Wont go here anymore.

Just had my first real appointment to get my prescription and choose frames, the gentleman who checked me in and did my initial exam was so fun and sweet and then after choosing frames we sat with Whitney who helped us finalize our purchase. She was informative and helped me to understand what my options were and was such a joy to converse with. I went today to fit my almost- 5 year old for a new pair of glasses. I mistakenly set an appointment at another location but I was still promptly served by Whitney. She was super helpful and was very patient with my daughter. We appreciated all of her expertise and cant wait to go back and get our new glasses!

First of all there is no 2 pair of glasses for $59 OR $78. I’ve never seen that offer extended to anyone or honored. Every time I inquired I got some jibber about single lenses and never found the frames for that offer. I feel it’s a marketing ploy.I had an exam and ordered frames on June 21, 2021. Today is August 2, 2021 and I still have nothing! I’ve had to return them TWICE! The prescription strength was too low. My eyesight has worsened so much in the 3 years since my first pair here that I’m squinting with my old pair on. The only reason I returned here is because I thought they would have my last prescription on file, they don’t. My exam was done by some virtual Dr on tv. One staff member put words in my mouth about my initial complaint. $420 for glasses and they refused to refund my money. Three years ago I spent $389 and was lied to by a guy named David who clearly stated that Medicare covered a portion of my glasses after I presented my Medicare card.Do yourself a favor and save money and time and go to Costco or Eyebuydirect.com or something unless your got money and time to throw away. You got one star from me because it won’t allow me to do O STAR!!!!

While visiting here, I needed my glasses repaired suddenly and without appt. From the receptionist to the optical tech, I was welcomed and served with pleasant and friendly attitudes. I highly recommend this business.

This was our first time coming into Stanton optical. My mother in law was in need of an eye exam. So we had made an appt for that and as well i needed prescription sunglasses. So we made our appts for the same day. We came in she got her eye exam… and i had sat down with one of the girls to go over options on sunglasses, she had quoted me $444.00 just for ONE pair of sunglasses. So i said forget it. Then went along and checked on my mother in law to see what was going on, she happen to be over in another area getting helped by a lady named “Alicia “ who happen to be the sales manager. She has asked me what i was looking into and i have told her what had just happened prior. She had said she’d love to help me again and make sure i was satisfied. So she checked out my chart and said she would save me $200.00 and i could leave happy with sunglasses that i came for. And that’s what she did! I’m very pleased with how she handled the situation. Very pleased with her kindness. Thanks so much, will definitely recommend going to her if you need anything at Stanton optical! Also Alicia had mentioned she was going to Lodi’s location, she will be missed for sure!

Hello,I have been here for the first time and this lady Alicia, Assistant Manager was awesome in solving my issue. My kid forgot glasses at moms and only here in modesto fo spring, which was no joy without glasses. I was looking for instant glasses and she was an angel to help me promptly with lenses which was a biggest favor to my child. I owe her big. I recommend seeing for any service in store. She will be your guiding angel out there.

Cheaply made glasses screws Fallout within a month they get you in there on the deals and then Jack up prices and then they tell you can pick them up at 9 and then say oh no not until 10 as the guys is going through the glasses looking at all the order 20 minutes I have to wait 20 minutes to get my glasses because its not 10 very rude customer service when you go to pick up your glasses will never go there again Id rather spend $1,000 at LensCrafters for one pair of glasses then theyre cheaply made two pairs and eye exam they dont think about people that work night shift and you cant pick up your glasses on Sunday

Had a exam not that long ago had wonderful help from the receptionist threw out the entire thing. Was very pleased with the customer service by Whitney she helped me pick out the perfect pairs of glasses even with me almost trying a million on it felt like. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated at Stanton Optical. I had booked an appointment online for my 86 year old father. When we arrived at the Modesto office the receptionist said we didn’t have an appointment and she had no openings for the day we had booked. They accepted no responsibility for the error and no effort was made to rectify the situation. Do not book online appointments at Stanton Optical. I felt we were treated rudely by the receptionist and decided to take our business elsewhere.

The people there were really helpful and nice, it only took about 30 minutes from the time I walked in to me paying for glasses. I didnt need an exam just a replacement pair, but I got 2 for just a little more than one pair.

Took my grandma Rebecca to her and appointment and had great service there.All staff was very friendly and Jorge was very helpful during visit.

The optometrist was great, the ones helping do the eye exam were great too. However I’m completely not satisfied with the service from the woman who gets you’re glasses for you when picking them up. She was rude, unprofessional and had zero customer service. Not friendly at all. I was not acknowledged when walking in and when she handed me both my glasses, there were marks from the marker on the lens, there were no handkerchiefs included with the glasses. When I asked she said they were out of stock and I could “purchase” one!! Excuse me I just spent 330 dollars and it’s NOT included??!! Lost my business, I wear glasses full time, I will need more glasses and I will be taking my money elsewhere. I should have did my research more thoroughly.

These guys knew what they were doing, and it was done efficiently.-Eye Exam 5/5* - done remotely, quickly, and nailed the prescription (for me and my wife both, and I have weird eyes)-Frame Selection 5/5* - tons of frames to choose from, no shortage of frames that fit my face-Purchasing process 5/5* - The lady who helped me, Priscilla, was very helpful and honest (which you need when choosing frames), and I walked out of there with really nice glasses on order for an excellent price.

They have good deals like 50% off of your lenses and the lady that rung us up, Faith, was extremely nice and usually an antisocial person like myself would feel extremely uncomfortable during your eye exam or during the process of getting rung up, during the whole process everyone was extremely welcoming also everything was kept clean and covid precautions where taken

Very slow service, 2 for 1 deal with exam literally gives you about 8 frames to choose from. If you use your insurance you have a co pay for exam. Prices are high for frames and lenses. .ost in store labs are CLOSED so even calling ahead to verify I could get glasses same day, was told after purchase that most labs are closed and had to wait 2 weeks. When I picked up I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to get served. Terrible service

So Im not an easy person to get a prescription based on my stigmatism but I have to say I am in love for the first time ever with my brand new eyewear there was a small mistake from them but they immediately to care of all my needs and oh boy can I ever see they will take care of you the whole way so I highly recommend this place great quality & service great quality

Had many issues here. People are friendly enough, just soooo slow. The whole process is inefficient. Over 2 hours for an eye exam. Actual exam takes 10-20. Then wait for over an hour to try and fit glasses. Contacts are even more of a hassle. I wanted to just renew my contacts but the “doctor” tried changing my prescription. Then the receptionist was extremely rude and not hearing what I was telling her. 10000%%%% don’t come here. Compete joke. As sad as it is, Walmart is a better option
