The veteran graveyard shift manager at the North McHenry 7-11, is named Jimmy and this guy really wears his heart on his sleeve and in his line of work, he sees many familiar faces and a lot of those familiar faces are people like you and I, trying to survive these trying pandemic times. Jimmys quite a character,, always very friendly and funny, but I found out hes also a great listener, full of wisdom and great common sense. So stop by the store, if not just for the convenient services, but to meet and say hi to this local wise guy, known to many as, Jimmy.🙌 God Bless 🙌

Many times has been the perfect spot for me that I needed to go but I wanted to go get what I need and what I want theres always a welcome me there and they dont seem to discriminate seems pretty chill help me out using microwave that wouldnt work.

So one employee is dealing with a sales representative while the other is working on a food machine which timer alarm went off as I am standing at the counter by the register to make my purchase is the food in the machine more important than a customer ready to buy something??

I went into the store around 2:15 PM on 2/28/21 to buy some drinks before I went to work. I attempted to pay with my app as I did 2 times earlier in the week & tried to tell the man that I had done it 2 times earlier in the week & was told, “ I was trying to get free stuff “. With several credit cards & an ATM card I said why should I use them when I have money loaded on the card the guy was rude & arrogant & claimed he was the store owner. He told me to leave or he was gonna call the cops & so here I am wait till I call HQ tomorrow

I caught the dude eating behind the food they heat up and sell. I care About my family, friends and neighbors. Dont buy any pizza wings or anything under the heat light. They eat right infront of the doors and sometimes while they are serving people. They dont have any respect for the public and with this pandemic who knows what could happen.

Oh thank heaven! This particular 7-Eleven is pretty rad because they play classical music incredibly loud outside their store. Several times Ive been at the intersection wondering where the violin sounds are coming from, imagining that somebody is practicing on a street corner. Nope, just 711

Convenient 24 hours a day. Good hot food at a good price. The 7-eleven rewards program saves me quite a bit of money. Definitely not your typical corner store.

An Elderly Employee by the name of Kimberlee was not only rude to us while we were checking out but also highly rude to another customer who walked in after us and just came to buy food. When the man went to pay for his food she snatched the money out of his hands and in just general rude. She needs to learn to have human decency and not be rude to her customers.

They have everything. But most importantly $5 pizzas and drinks galore.

I like this place it is very clean and nice. Specially my kids like the cheese pizza it is very fresh and delicious.

I went to into the store the other day and this nice employee kimlee showed me where everything was that I needed. she was so friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be going back there!

Clean, but usually busy. Lines form quickly. Always hot foot in the trays, great customer service but it feels like they are pushing you to get done because its such a small store. They have done a good job keeping the vagrants from begging outside, which is nice for the area. All together an alright 7/11.

Rude employee tried to rip me off for the third time and was being very toxic towards me

I usually only stop here to get money orders but i like that the place has a lot more to offer plus the employees are always very nice to me they try to get you in an out asap lol i like that i never have to wait in line too long and i never seen homeless hanging around which is nice

You are always greeted with a smile followed with a Hello! How are you today? Very helpful staff and without a doubt they definitely put their customers first. This is by far one of the best managed convenient stores I have ever step foot in. Keep up the good work.

They play music outside so people(homeless) dont hang out. Back in the earlier 90s I worked at a few 711s up north. My boss ran about 10 stores. I was his assistant. My job was to trouble shoot stores that were not bringing in cash. Make the changes needed until store started making a profit. Most of the time the employees were the problem. Both customer theft and employer theft was another big problem. I smoked too much weed one day and couldnt walk. Called in sick. Boss fired me. He called me back up and asked me to come back to work. He couldnt stop the theft. I worked for a couple of days and he fired me again. Soon after that a friend of mine grabbed somebody coming out of the store and knocked half of the guys teeth out.
