Doc and the manager were amazing!! They looked over my vehicle for over an hour to check everything for me. Unfortunately, they only had a very expensive set of tires in stock that I needed. They took the time to tell me of some other places that I could find them way cheaper. I will definitely be back, their customer service and honesty was amazing!!

Counter man was very busy but all of his attention was given to us (I dont know how they do it) Got my daughters car in as fast as he could. Free inspection completed and an oil change. Ill be bringing my 2 cars from now on. Great job!!

It sometimes feels like its not only difficult to find an honest mechanic, but a nice one as well. Thankfully I found both at Midas during a current trip.I was coming from Chicago to Moline for a horror convention late Thursday night for the weekend when my exhaust completely detached on me. Unfortunately it was also Labor Day weekend and every place I visited was not only closing early, they couldnt even make an appointment until the following Tuesday. I was stuck in a strange place at a bad time and thinking Id have to pay a small fortune to get home. Midas not only got me up and running again by Saturday afternoon, it cost way less than expected.Many thanks to Brian and Ricardo for bailing me out of a VERY sticky situation. Id love to buy you guys a few beers if youre ever up in Chicago ! Cheers !

I am a customer service junky and this team, especially Brian, brought their A-game for sure with kindness, timeliness, price matching, coupon accepting, reassurance, hope, what needed to be done and how his team could help, and more.I was in town visiting from Germany, borrowing my mother-in-law’s car, 2005, LeSabre. I didn’t think I would need my phone charger that day, for what I thought would be a non-eventful, trip to the Quad Cities. I was using an old phone with a short life battery. I mentioned my battery life to Brian and he said he may just have one. I told him that that would be miraculous and don’t you know, he had a charger for my old phone. He let me borrow it and we got the phone all juiced up! Wow!!! I drive a substantial distance to deal with this particular branch. The manager Brandon is very knowledgeable, friendly and his word is gold. If he tells you something, count on it. Also, he has a great team of expert technicians that are courteous and professional. I highly recommend this location. They do things right, every time.

I am very impressed with this business. I was driving through Moline, when I had a warning light turn on dash of my truck. I called the nearest shop, which happened to be Midas, and explained the issue and urgency to the manager, Cornel Barrett. He said come on in. His team prioritized my car through a very complicated set of issues, and still met planned commitments to existing customers by tasking both the manager(Cornel) and the area supervisor who happened to be in(Brian - not even dressed to work in the garage) to wrench on cars. Further, they were extremely friendly and accommodating to me, my wife, and my dog. All at an very fair price. Their goal was to get me on the road. Today, they earned the value of the tag line ‘locally owned, nationally known’ in my book. I will seek a Midas when I need help in the future. Thank you team! Special kudo’s to the mechanic, Ricardo, who was extremely persistent and developed a very insightful solution to get me home. I indeed arrived home safely.

Let me tell you... was a very good stop the gentleman at the front desk was very professional did not have the parts I was looking for but was able to direct me to a facility that did have the parts all the way in Davenport which I went picked up. Thank you so much for the help I definitely will be back for any my other needs.

Fixit my friends car, but I feel there a bit higher than Ford dealership on parts markup.......

I scheduled an appointment with them for an oil change . When I finally got checked in, I was informed that my manufacturer for my car only “recommends” full synthetic. I explained to him, that I’ve had my vehicle serviced Many times, previously and had never been informed of that. I asked him could he just do a regular oil change and he stated “unfortunately,no!” I was furious, and I do feel as though me being a woman played into the “lets try to rip her off game”. I usually work on my own car and didn’t feel like doing it, so I wanted to treat myself. I went down the street to “Take5,” and asked them about my car needing a full synthetic oil change. We had a good laugh together, because we came to the conclusion that Midas tried to play me for a fool. The guy at Take5 explained to me, that synthetic oil was only a recommendation for a newer vehicle of the same make that i had, and that the other person more than likely knew that. Luckily Take5 was able to give me an oil change without any hassle. As far as this specific, midas location, you never know who your customer is going to be. Don’t assume all women are oblivious when it comes to vehicles,especially don’t try to screw them over!

I had some car trouble traveling out here to visit family and they were able to get me in and fixed my car same day with a great price. They did amazing work, were very friendly, prompt and so kind! Went here after having issues with the Midas in Davenport. Fast response, quality repair, fair quote/price, and great service. Brandon (manager) and Morgan both demonstrated profressionalism to myself and others. They are very knowledgeable of car repair and current trends, and gladly shared their insights. Will keep going back if this continues :)

9:20 for 9:30 oil change. 10:05 bays all full and my oil change looks to be a hour away. Bite me! Got my keys and left after I tracked them down. But my coupon is still good till Dec.

I have been coming to the Moline Midas for over 20 years. I know when I come here that I will be told what NEEDS to be done and what should be done n the future. Midas has always helped me in difficult financial with payment plans... AND THEY ALWAYS BACK UP THEIR WORK. I went to a deal who was going to charge me 4$400. to fix one thing on my brakes. Midas charge $700 but they fixed the whole thing and I havent had another issue in about 4 years with what they fixed. I can not recommend them high enough.

I took my service van into the moline location two days ago because the rear brakes were noisy. They were able to fix it the next day and have it ready for me before the end of my work day. They installed new rotors and pads on the rear of my van for a total of $809. Everything looked good on my ten mile drive home and all seamed well. The next morning as I was entering the highway about ten miles into my 100 mile drive I was motioned to pull over by another driver that noticed smoke from the rear of the van. Once I pulled over I found both of the rear brakes were on FIRE! I used my fire extinguisher to put it out and had the van towed back to the shop. They fixed it again however I learned my lesson! I don’t trust Midas with anything more than adding air to a tire!

Pricey and suspicious - BEWARE. I took my vehicle in and was provided and estimate in the thousandths $$. I took my car for a 2nd opinion at the Dealership Service Center and was provided an estimate for $300 or so. Midas wanted to do a lot of unneeded work at my expense. I don’t trust them and would not recommend them to anyone... Over all, bad vibes.

Nick found the problem quick just before they closed. My heart shield was dragging on the pavement. The muffler was fine. He used fresh bolts and washers. The heat shield was salvageable. No charge. 15 minutes and out just before close. Thanks guys! Merry Christmas!

One of the best in the area. Theyve always been very honest about issues with my car, and often will explain which are a priority (especially if cost is an issue). Brandon seems to always remember his customers by first name basis, which goes a long way when deciding on where to get serviced. Comfortable waiting area with open view of the shop for anyone suspicious of bringing their vehicles places as well.

I was having a bad day and after coming to this location it suddenly was much better. Everything you can ask for from an auto repair shop this place provided. Honesty, trustworthiness, laid back, and reassuring. A lot of auto shops try to push extra sales on you that you might not be interested in. Brandon, Morgan, and Nick all went the extra mile to find issues with my vehicle that I was unaware of but at the same time they were not trying to persuade me in any way. Just a humble, hey you might wanna keep this in mind for future reference. I will definitely be coming back and will feel very comfortable letting them do what they do best, and thats making the customer happy.

My car was having an issue where the window wouldnt roll up. I called and explained what was happening, and asked how much it would likely be to fix, and they told me around $100. After I dropped it off, they called the next day and gave me a total of almost $500. When I went in to pick up the car, I expressed disappointment in the price difference, and the worker snapped at me and said that the $100 was for the diagnostics only. I explained that on the phone I had not asked about the diagnostic, I had asked how much it would cost to fix my window. Another worker came over and snapped at me as well. Very poor customer service and dishonest pricing. Will not go there again.

Always do a great job and always have no problem getting in. Ive walked in and set an appointment and having the option is nice. They include a tire rotation with oil change so this is a very nice incentive to bring my vehicles here for oil change. Price quote on brakenjob was a little high but maybe you get what you pay for. On a long roadtrip, our wheel bearings failed on Sunday night. With no idea who to trust to get this fixed, we decided on Midas, and we are so glad we did. Nick took great care of us and made sure we got back on the road Monday without the hassle. After years of bad service, the crew at this Midas are the most professional and genuinely caring and honest people I have worked with!! I highly recommend them!!

The staff was friendly and accommodating despite being busy. Customer service goes a long way when it comes to dealing with car repairs. Would recommend this location over some other nearby shops on the Avenue that I wont name.

Pretty sad during this epidemic that you fire most of your employees and then tell them they might be able to reapply when this epidemic is over. Shame on you wont be getting my oil changed their anymore.

Pricey and suspicious... Had an oil change done in July over $100.00 Tech says cabin filter needs changed. OK change done. Just last month went in for brakes and tech says filters are filthy need changed??? U mm shouldnt be that way. Told the tech I just got those all done through you guys when you changed the oil in July and he sputtered on.. didnt really have an answer for me so do not trust.

Mr. Ponce and the head tech went above and beyond to take care of multiple issues with my vehicle that was not even their problem in the first place. Ive been to a lot of different car businesses in the quad cities, and they exceeded my expectations with great customer service, getting me in and out quickly with no problems. Thank you Midas!!!!

I was broke down on my trip from Canada to Nebraska, I showed up on a Saturday and they managed to get me back on the road on Monday. They put in an extreme ammount of effort to make sure I was okay and on the road asap. They put in a lot of good work, had excellent teamwork and treated every customer with respect. This is a place that I would have loved to work at due to fair treatment and good work ethics. Thank you again to all the people that helped me.

I took my car in for a regular oil change. It was pretty cheap, they did it pretty quickly, and they also pointed out some issues they noticed under my car WITHOUT pressuring me to get it fixed then and there for an extra cost, which I really appreciated.Great experience overall!

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Was traveling across the service, and with my misfortunate, had gotten a flat tire. Midas took care of me immediately with NO CHARGE, and I was back on the road in no time! I cannot say enough good things!!!!

Came here today to get my window wiper transmission replaced and the whole crew went extremely out of their way to help me! Brandon kept the shop open longer than they normally stay open so i would not have to drive my car like that or else it would be a safety issue. They picked up the part for my car extremely fast and fixed it extremely fast. Brandon was so kind and professional! Props to the mechanic who worked on my car for helping us today too. Have not been to a Midas shop in over 30 years... I was completely surprised at the professionalism, honesty and integrity of the staff here. Will definitely be returning next time I need repair work done. Also learned they do way more than just brakes, shcks and exhaust systems. Highly recommend the Moline Midas!

I was pretty unsatisfied. The guy who was up front answering the phone calls and on the computer was leaning against my car like he owned it. And was sitting in other cars just to talk to the mechanics. Though my fix was a $22 fix, the part itself was $3 and it was put on with electrical tape. If I knew I was going to pay $22 for a bolt and electrical tape I wouldve gone somewhere else. Instead i went somewhere else and they actually installed the bolt rather then tape it on.

My car broke down on the interstate while on a road trip. I got it towed to Midas and they fit me in right away to look at the car. It turned out the car wasnt really fixable and I asked what I owed and they told me not to worry about it. It was the one bit of good news I got the whole day. Very good business here.

These guys and place were so great went to them for two different things for two different vehicles!!! They didnt charge me anything for the things that I asked them what I thought was wrong only to be told that wasnt the case! Told me what was really wrong and told me how to fix them cuz they were simple fixes!!! So impressed!!!

I take all four of my vehicles here. Brandon is always honest and fair. I needed to bring my Sons car in for service and Brandon arranged for me to get a ride to work with his regional manager and then picked me up after work. The work they do on my cars is always top notch and I have never had a problem with anything they have done. You dont find customer service like this anymore........ except for here. That is why I am a customer for life!

I had a Saturday appointment at 2pm. I arrived at 1:45pm and as I walked in the door the manager promptly greated me by my name. (Which I thought was a very professional and kind gesture as I had never been there before. He apparently recognized me by my time of arrival and my car.). I waited until 2:38 before my car was seen and it took 2 hours for a transmission fluid flush and change, check my brakes and alignment and change a license plate light. Their prices were competitive and they were honest. I thought I needed brakes and they were fine, and he suggested I do my alignment when I buy tires again as the alignment would be a waste of time with the wear on my tires. And I didnt need tires quite yet either. I was only disappointed that my appointment really didnt mean anything in the realm of when they started my car. First come first serve place.

I have gotten work done at this Moline location since Feb and Brandon and his whole staff has been nothing but exceptional and outstanding. From finding mistakes and shotty work from other shops not only on my vehicle which cost me thousands in damages but also on my fiancé’s vehicle in which she could of been seriously injured or worse from her taking her car to that same shop over in Iowa that I did. Not only did Brandon fix the situation as fast as he could, but he let us use one of his own personal vehicles as a loaner vehicle so we could get to work and she could get her daughter to school. Class act service, amazing service and top- notch mechanics and awesome Manager as well!! This is where you want to take your car to get fixed. They do it right the first time. That’s why they’re so damn busy!! I won’t take my car anywhere else. Ever.

These guys saved our ASSES!!! We were driving home from Aledo IL in my Fathers Impala that had just sat. They originally didnt know if they had the time, but stayed late and replaced our rotors, and pads, and made sure we had safe brakes to drive home. The staff was friendly and caring and did an awesome job on our car. If you are having auto issues and you live in the Moline area, you need to come here.

Been having exhaust trouble on my VW, so I had to get everything from the catalytic converter on back replaced. Called around locally to get some estimates, but ended up taking it to Midas because of a referral(my mechanic couldnt do pipe bending.) Called Bi-State Muffler and they could do the exhaust job for less than Midas, so I called Midas and explained my situation to Jack that works there and he dropped the price to compete with Bi-State. Just got the car back today and I am thrilled with the work! Execelent customer service (they were not assholes over the phone, unlike the guy I spoke with at bi-state) will be coming back!

I always had great service when Ricardo was the manger. The new manager, Brandon, is horrible. He is rude and dismissive on the phone. When I called and wanted to talk to Ricardo, he immediately had an attitude with me, telling me Ricardo works on cars now, and he (Brandon) is the manager.My daughter tried to set up an appointment online to get an oil change. She had gotten an email saying they would respond within 30 minutes, but they had not. Brandon says he did respond. (Ricardo always called... Brandon evidently responds via email.)She checked again... all folders. Nothing. He insisted he sent it, and I told him it was not recieved and he blamed the internet. He told me to just bring her car in at 3.I told him we would go elsewhere because I was not happy with the service I received last time I came in. Since they lied to me and just told me it had been Ricardos day off at my last appointment, I planned to tell him (Ricardo) about the bad service I received the next time I came in. Now they tell me he has not been the manager since October?I no longer have confidence in Midas.They pulled back carpet on my floorboard and did not replace it properly, and all the contents of my glove compartment were thrown all over the floor and my GPS is missing. Brandon cut me off saying they must go through the glove compartment to change the filter. (I know this, but they didnt have to leave everything torn apart!) He said if I dont let him know there is a problem, he cant correct it.( I thought thay is what I was doing?)When I took my car in, they told me Ricardo had the day off... now I find out they were lying to me... Brandon says he hasnt been a manager since October? Brandon did not try to correct the problems, just blame me and said have a nice day and hung up.I will never go there again to let them over charge me, tear up my car, and steal my GPS. I will be reporting you to corporate.

I usually go to Midas for issues with my vehicles and have a great experience. Unfortunately my latest experience has been nothing but a nightmare. I took my truck in because I was having issues with it stalling. They misdiagnosed the problem three times and each time told me the truck was fixed and it was evident that it was not as soon as I drove away. I would unfortunately and inconveiniently have to return it again the next morning each time. They finally fixed the issue which turned out to be the spark plugs after replacing a loose wire, mass air flow sensor, fuel pump, and cam shaft position sensor that were not needed. Finally my truck was running as it should and I was grateful to have it back running even after the many visits and failed attempts to fix it. I’m now having an issue with the fuel gauge because of the fuel pump they changed that was not needed. My gauge will only read 3/4 full at a full tank when the tank is actually full. I’ve returned twice now for this issue. A total of 6 times and two weeks with my vehicle in the shop. The gauge is still not reading correct. I called today to have it corrected a third time and was told by Brandon that he was just not sure what to do anymore and I may have to have someone else look at it. I am completely in awe of the terrible service that I have received

Had an appointment for an oil change. It took an hour and half. The staff also told me I had high miles and needed shocks but refused to show me = my car is a 2000 and has less than 81,000 miles on it --- RIDICULOUS- I will not be going back---
