Highly appreciated the great customer service. The staff helped me find what I was looking for and even gave me recommendations on what best items to use for my project. I needed to sand my deck, and was able to use a drum sander and an edger. Was recommended 40grit and 60grit that worked very nicely and was still workable in case I messed up. Better to take longer and go over a spot twice than to take off too much. Would highly recommend renting and purchasing other products for your projects.

Rented a engine lift and when I returned it, had a struggle getting it back inside store. There were 3 employees up front and not one of them helped.Told Butch in rental service about this with out any apology, was told that there was only three people working so I must be mistaken . Well Nick was one of them and Butch in rentals plus 2 cashiers equals 4 by my count. Will not return here after no apology and being called a liar.

This hardware has all the truly hard stuff to find.. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I love shopping here

Typical neighborhood hardware store, The aisles were somewhat disorganized and things were hard to find. They were a bit on the expensive side as well but one can expect this from small business.

I used to avoid this store, since it was difficult to get help on the floor. But, my last few visits there have been very positive, and store employees were helpful. The store is very serious about their COVID precautions, which I appreciate!

The only place that makes the key I need. Staff is friendly enough though O couldnt shake the feeling that I was bothering them by being there...

I love this store. They have an amazing variety of goods, more than you would expect. They even have some very nice gift items. They offer a number of services like repairing windows and screens and repair of small equipment. I even take my garden tools over there to get them sharpened.

Took my lawnmower in for a tune-up which ended up needing a carburetor. The staff was amazing, they were up front and honest. Plus they treated me with a mutual respect that you sometimes dont see in other service departments. The gentleman took time to explain to me how to take better care of my mower. Just an overall A+ experience, thank you Trevor:)

Always my go to store for baking needs and decorating! Always top notch service!Last time I was in the clerk and I were talking about the 48 mini muffin pan. An older man was standing in line behind me and said they sell a 48 mini cupcake pan? He wife has been cheating him all this time! We all laughed. I suggested to this man to buy if for his wife on HIS birthday! We laughed some more! Great experience

They always do a great job. They have made an odd sized key for me that no one else was able to do. They fixed my lawn mower very quickly at a great price. They are helpful and friendly.

Employees were very helpful with getting a key made and an approximate cost to have a lamp rewired and how long it would take. The store is very neat and has a nice little gift shop. You can find everything you need for your home yard and garden. They have been in business for almost 90 years. I received a free calendar upon checking out. I will defintely come back here.

I have never, ever had anyone go into the explanation of how I had to get the chain back on my chainsaw. Butch is the best instructor I have ever had in my lifetime. He took well over a hour to instruct me how to I had to take everything apart, clean the inside of my chainsaw and then he instructed me how to out each part of the chainsaw back to working condition! He knew just when he would be better off to do that particular of the step himself and yet he told me why and how he was doing that step on his own. I left that Trevor True Hardware store knowing I had gotten an extremely learning experience from Butch today in less than 2 hours! There is not enough stars to give Butch for his instructions today!

Check with ALL cashiers & staff first before going to service center if you have equipment to be serviced = if their technician/mechanic is having a bad day, so will you... staff knows all too well about it and will only apologize for it... Also if the item that you are bringing in is more than 3 years old, you will be told to buy new = of whatever brands they carry. It is really a shame when the big-box stores have better customer service than small & local shop... and when it turns out that the service center has dropped service altogether from what they offer... It is such a shame as they were recommended by many... in checking back with those that had referred me, they admitted that they had been getting more people saying that their reputation was not what it once was and that they were now no longer suggesting people bring their work their... really unfortunate - it is great when you find someone that takes pride in what they do and takes care of the customer = they are like rare gems these days.

True Value actually means True Value! Great prices good selection of what ever you need in hardware and good service. Clean and worker are helpful and polite. I preferred it to a few other bigger stores for all the right reasons and its plenty of parking and buses near by.Recommended..

We love supporting the locally owned stores if possible, and Trevor is no exception. Sure, they dont have everything that the big chains have, but they have personalized service, and they are convenient for those who live in the area. They offer quite a few services, including rentals, for such a small store.

Had a small issue with a key I had made there, the staff was very nice and took care of it with no questions asked. Very pleased with the customer service.

I guess a person of color cannot possibly own a building according to the workers in the back who make keys. They just couldnt believed it and asked for documentation showing that I was the owner. Of course I protested and pointed out that I have had keys made here without being harassed before. So they made half of the keys saying that the others were special order even though they made the same keys two months ago at this location. Thank God for google reviews.

I like going to the local hardware store for my house projects but listening to awful rap music while I try to shop for supplies is a bit ridiculous. I also suggest the employees refrain from acting like theyre being held there against their will.

These people are very helpful.Needed to get and old washer off a shut off valve.They saved me alot of time by having the correct equipment and even helped at removing the old waaher.Excellent knowledgeable help!!!!!!

I will never go here again. I rented a tiller and the guy brought it out to my car and laughed at me and told me he wasnt helping me put it in my car and went to get another associate. That other person told me I should have brought a truck and that they werent gonna help me put it in my car. So I called my father with his truck and we got it in. I used it for a couple hours brought it back to get my return money back. The cashier lady proceeded to charge my card another 83.00 instead of putting it back on my card. So I went back to the store showed them the charge and the lady at the register argued with me that she didnt charge my card so I showed he my account on my phone to show her the charge they just made she tried to tell me that means they have it back to me. Since when does a negative in your account means they have it back. Then I showed her the recite and then she said ooo we did charge you. Needless to say Im done with this place I will never shop here again or recommend it to anyone.
