🀬Warning! First off management and staff stated all purpose chair function properly. The chair is so poorly made and is as shady as sales team and management. As a cosmetologist been in busy for over 30 years never have I seen a all purpose style chair made as wobbly and unstable. There policy is this it online, we called to order didn’t order on web. BLah BLAH! If only google would let me place a video on this review. Minerva you can write this down if you are the only beauty supply company left on this earth I’m done! I can’t say enough great things about this company!! I ordered a station from them & the estimated back in stock date was may! Then I received an email that the order was fulfilled & on its way! It was like Christmas morning!!! When it arrived, it unfortunately had a cracked corner on the marbleβ€”but I called right away & after sending a few pictures, they replaced it and it was here in less than a week!! I have been open for two and half years and have had to replace the hydraulics three times. Every time is a fight. This third time they are expecting me to pay for them, when they are 1 1/2 years old with a two year warranty. These are barely lasting over a year each time. They leak everywhere and some of them won’t stay up.

So I finally get to where I can order the barber chair of my dreams. I should have known by the shipping experience it just wasn’t going to be a great experience. First fedex wanted me to drop everything and reschedule my work appointments to be available to pick it up. When I told them I couldn’t do that, they finally scheduled delivery for a different day. Well that day came and went and no chair, no call, nothing. I ended up having to pick the chair up myself. Then I finally get the chair just to find out it barely reclines at all. When I emailed the company about the chair not reclining enough for a barber to do a shave correctly the response was β€œthere is a picture posted with it reclined so that you could see how far it reclines.” Oh yes I’m sorry I didn’t realize that the picture of just a chair by itself with nothing else to compare it to was supposed to let me know that this chair would not work for me even though it is advertised as a barber chair. I was also informed that none of their chairs recline all the way which Is irrelevant, as they don’t need to go back all the way, they just need to be able to go back far enough to shave the neck correctly. I will never buy another item from this company again.

I had a pleasure to communicate and be serviced by Minerva customer service person. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her last name, but the first name is Cortney. About 3-4 weeks ago I’ve purchased Belava Trio Portable Foot Spa from online store at Minerva. The unit came very fast. My wife’s salon is closed due to current pandemic, so I wanted to test unit at home. After opening the box, I realized that there was no power cable. I contacted Minerva customer service and was referred to Cortney. She understood the problem immediately and assured me that she’ll send the cable free of charge right away. In two days, I had the cable. But it didn’t stop there. After testing the unit, I discovered that vibrating feature doesn’t work. Again, I’ve contacted Cortney and very professionally and calmly she walked me through the process and shipped another unit. This one works perfectly, my wife is happy and ready for work, whenever that happens.I am exceptionally pleased with Cortney’s service, professionalism and attention to detail.I would like to point out, I am very rarely written reviews, but such a dedicated person as Cortney deserves all the praises. Thank you, Cortney, you rock.

Front desk receptionist was very nice and pleasant she offered beverages and complimentary snacks from the moment I entered. The showroom was very organized and well put together. Ali the sale that assisted me was also a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed my overall experience here, whereas when I visited Buy Rite the receptionist Melanie was sweet and deserves a 5 star, however The President of Buy Rite RUDE Richard isn’t as nice or helpful nay if you have an appointment if not he blows you off and is very dismissive. My experience at Minerva was GREAT and welcoming and they answered All Questions unlike BuyRite the customer service here is amaze balls and I’d highly recommend Minerva any day!

I love ordering from Minerva! My company has been ordering from Minerva since 2014. Ive been working with Eric Brand on all my orders and I couldnt ask for somebody better. Eric is very responsive and super helpful with all of my questions and needs. We have 16 hair salons, a barbershop and hair academy, I can say Minerva has never disappointed us. Anyway I contacted customer service. They were amazing! Courtney helped me out. My new station is on the way in the right color at no charge to me. They really went above and beyond. She even went into the warehouse and opened the box to send me pictures to insure I would be satisfied with the new color .

My wife and I purchased 3 product shelves from Minerva Beauty and Prior to placing the order, I called customer service and wanted to find out if the shelving was pre-assembled, as the website says some assembly required. The customer service rep confirmed and assured me these shelves were pre-assembled all we had to do was put on the glass shelves. Upon arrival the were not pre-assembled, disappointing to say the least, but here they are so I will just assemble them.After taking everything out of the packaging I started to attempt to take out the screws that were pre-installed in the bars. To be honest, even if they came out easily it would make more sense to have these in a bag, it is a lot of wasted time take these long screws out. Unfortunately, I spent about 30 minutes trying to unscrew the screws and could only remove a few.I went to home depot and bought tools that I could work with, unfortunately this now became a two-man project, so I hired my maintenance manager where I live. We started working with the new tools to take the bolts out, we got many of them out but still many would not come loose, we went as far as putting the Allen Wrench Hex Key in the bolt and hammering them to loosen. Again, many of these we still could not loosen. Finally, we had to take Channel Locks and heavy-duty Pliers I held the bar in place, and my guy turned them, this got off the rest, we damaged many of the exterior portion of the bolts because of this.Overall, we spent 4 hours loosening the screws / bolts to finally assemble, a nice product in the end but the worst experience in my life with furniture assembly. This is not counting the initial time it took me in the beginning and going to home depot to purchase tools.I reached out to customer service and shared my experience and asked for a refund for the cost of hiring someone and the tools which was about a third of the cost of the shelves not counting the shipping. I asked noting for my time or inconvenience or anything for the damage on the shelving itself.I got the run-around for several days and finally the manager Bryan reached out after sending email saying I was going to do a charge-back and share my experience with the BBB and Social Media platforms. I spoke with Bryan and explained the situation again in a nutshell.He said the website says there is assembly required and he cannot imagine it would take two people to do this? Seriously, I wasn’t asking him to imagine, I was explaining what happened, everyone here seems to think it is fine and normal to spend 4 hours to remove the bolts because they were machined on and customers do not matter. I do not understand people anymore, stay away from this place everyone.

We purchased 15 Minerva Barber chairs at the beginning of this year. We had to change from the other company that we purchased out originals from. We have to say that the chairs have been great and really are very durable. We have students that are learning how to cut hair and sometimes they are not as graceful in the beginning, but the chairs have held up great. Great experience! I visited Minervas showroom on Jan 14. My sales representative, Justin, was extremely helpful giving me advice to pick out equipment for my new salon. My stations, chairs and shampoo bowls arrived literally 3 days after I placed my order. I got emails from Justin, customer service, the shipping company... they were all on point and this equipment is stunning! The movers broke the handle off of our beauty station at the studio and I called Minerva to inquire about ordering a replacement. I loved the style of chairs this company carries. They look great online, but when you get them they are cheaply made. The hydraulic broke on 2 out of 3 chairs. The third chair was not being used. That’s just ridiculous, the foam came away from the imitation leather and looked bubbling. Customer service kept blowing me off, hoping I would fade away. They said their policy states; that the foam and leather are considered normal wear and tear. I don’t think so, don’t buy from this company, it’s not worth your aggravation. Now I have new but ruined salon chairs. They sent me new hydraulics but tried to make me pay the shipping. I refused, than they sent them at no cost to me. Not sure what I will do with faulty new hydraulics, seems like a waste to me. I’m sure it will break soon as I start using them. Horrible experience with this company, they don’t care about what they are selling.

We bought four of the the Cambridge styling stations in cherry for $849.00 plus for side rolling stations as well.. the first week they were already chipping and the handles were already falling off, we called Minerva beauty since there is a one year manufacturers warranty that comes with it they told us thats just normally wear and tear and they couldnt do anything about it, we spent thousands of dollars of these plus the ones we got five years ago which are still in great shape just different colors and they can not even replace them out let us change for a different color this is very updating to us since in the past we had no problems,just be wear of their fake warranty they will not stand behind, we will not be buying from them ever again. Do NOT do business with this company! They are CROOKS and their products are cheap and flimsy and fall apart! I ordered a steamer/mag lamp from them. It arrived BROKEN. The pole was bent and the light part was broken. The sent me a replacement and that had broken pieces too, so basically I had to take 2 broken lamps to make one good lamp. Well, after a short period of use the cheap plastic switches and knobs broke off. I ordered a new lamp. Within a few days of using the new lamp, it broke. I called the company and they sent me new switches and new knobs which are VERY hard to replace so I had to pay an electrician. Within one week the new knob broke. I called the company and stated that I wanted to return it for a refund. It had not been 30 days since my purchase. The scheduled a pick up and UPS shows up at MY HOUSE??? How they got my home address I have no idea. So I contact them and they reroute the pick up to my Salon/Spa. The lamp gets shipped back. I get a phone call from a very RUDE gentleman named Todd Brown who states that there is nothing wrong with the steamer and they will not be refunding my money and if I want the broken steamer back that I need to pay a $35 return shipping fee which I do NOT think should be my responsibility, so no I am out almost $300 and the steamer. This is the WORST quality of products I have EVER dealt with and the WORST customer service! I will NEVER order from them again and I suggest you do the same unless you want to have a broken product that they do not guarantee or stand behind! I will be suing, filing a complaint with the BBB and posting reviews EVERYWHERE I possibly can online to prevent this from happening to anyone else!!!

We ordered 3 new stations and 3 expensive chairs a month ago for a new salon. They called in a few days and told me the chair bases were on backorder and couldn’t ship any of the order until they came in- however they were fast to charge my credit card the day I ordered. We were notified this Wednesday afternoon that the order would be the next day (Thursday) between 9 and 11am and someone had to be there because it’s curb pick up and if nobody’s there it will go back and we’ll have to pay to re-ship. My husband HAD TO TAKE OFF IF WORK to be there Thursday morning. They never showed. We called and were informed that -oops- we’ll come Friday instead. Again between 9- 11am. He took ANOTHER DAY OFF Of WORK To be there. Again no show. We call. They finally show up at 2:30. One station is completely destroyed. FedEx guy needed us to confirm with Minerva so he could say we were β€œdeclining the shipment”. We e been on hold now for over an hour. NOT HAPPY😀

I ordered several thousand of dollars of new salon equipment. The hydraulic chair was terribly wobbly and fails to pump all the time. I also had three dryers that Were very cheaply made and I needed different bases for them. I asked if I could return these four items which were litterly just taken out of the box a week ago. The said no refunds if you dont have all the original packaging. We are a new salon that opened and had tons of cardboard boxes and packaging that all got thrown away as we were setting up. They would not even offer a discount if I purchased different dryers. Thank God I didn’t order all my salon hydraulic chairs from Minerva. JUNK!!Spend the extra money so glad I did on the other equipment.

DO NOT PUTCHASE FROM THEMI just purchased the Sovereign hydraulic pump styling chair $450. The chair was fairly reasonable however, shipping was about $170. NEVER RECEIVED AN ORDER CONFIRMATION until I called them back. I received the chair put it together (no directions were included) and the chair is way to tall for my 5’1” body. I called Manerva and told them about the height of the chair as well as my height and one guy simply said, β€œour dimensions are on our website and we do not take back used equipment”. First off, I called the store to place my order and I did not order online, so I would not have seen the dimensions. He told me to return it. I asked if I had to pay for shipping to them and then back to me? He said, β€œyes”. I told him that’s like buying 3 chairs and I asked if they could waive the shipping cost back to me? He then told me that they are the #1 salon equipment company in America and they simply can’t do that. (WTH does that have to do with anything) Because people start businesses and sometimes never open and they have purchased $10,000 of equipment they want to return. So, It would be a 20% restocking fee, and I should have read that on the website (that I never went on to make my purchase) or I could have read it ONCE I got my delivery. Had I known any of this I never would have ordered.I simply said to him, β€œhow can I read something while in transit? Shouldn’t this have been disclosed over the phone while I was purchasing?” He said, β€œNo, that’s not our policy to give out this information over the phone, it’s posted on our website”. I called my order in sir I did not visit your website. So, I’m responsible for calling you and knowing your policy, your confusing dimensions and everything else when I place my order? Then responsible for shipping back to you and you resale my chair for the full price and I only get $380 back less the all of the shipping expenses? He said, β€œyou can exchange the chair for 3% plus shipping.” I even asked to try out different bases to the chair and I got nowhere with that. I said, β€œthank you sir for your help, I will not do business with you all ever again”. Simply put, they are a rip off and rude with bad customer service.

I will never do business with this company ever. I placed an order and I was told my son could pick it up, we live 1hr and 45 minutes away so he left after school and together with a couple friends drove to Monroe GA to pick up the items as I needed it ASAP. There was an accident which took him longer than expected he spoke to rep and she said she would wait...he arrived and meets a manager and yes it was after hours but she said she would wait...the manager proceeds to tell him it cant be picked up. He then get on the phone with me and said it is mighty suspicious that they pull up in a truck after hours to get the expensive equipment, my son had the invoice, we were not told to send a copy of my id for pick upThe manager told me on the phone that it could be anyone he could be talking to...WOW!! Honestly my sons felt very discriminated against as he made a point to say they were in a truck with no tags...I just bought a truck...dealer tags. I will never buy a pin from this company..I am waiting for my refund which the manager said he will make sure happens first thing in the morning...

This experience was all but good. Getting someone to call you back is impossible. I ordered a package of 3 stations and 2 shampoo bowls and 2 dryer chairs. There were no instructions on how to assemble any of it, the screw holes didnt line up on nearly all of the pieces(poorly constructed). No pre-drilled holes on the stations to attach the tool holder. And I have 1 station that I have to call a locksmith out to open because this company did not sent the keys to it. So, I cannot use it until its assembled. Customer Service has yet to contact me regarding the issue. I will never use this company again.

This was the worst purchase I every made . Please beware not to order plump free pedicure chair .The chair is stiff as a board it does not have any hydraulic pump for variable heights, no adjustable footrest and the seat dont reclines back .
