My happy place but lately this location has low inventory in select art sections. Empty shelves that stay empty for weeks and weeks forcing me to go elsewhere for certain items. Less sales too. Just the same it still go. Friendly and good customer service.

There was a cashier dressed as napoleon dynamite on halloween 2021. She was so kind patient personable and quick with ringing up. She made my less than 10 minute experience in the store a good oneThe only downside is, everything i purchased, I saw at the dollar tree a day later 🥴

Not crowded and super clean. Everything is organized. Lots of sales! The only downside is I couldn’t any staffs for a good 15 minutes to help me. Ended up going to the register person to contact someone.

Im an Artist, visiting Michaels is like getting a creative rush overload! Whats not to love!! I love all these stores, I decided to visit this Michaels not only because they had the product that I was looking for my student, I just wanted to escape a little distant from my local area. Fun place to shop for hobby supplies. They have tons of fun stuff of all colors and shapes for beginners, intermediates, and pros....including lots of holiday decor etc. Good store to get new ideas for new crafts. Kind of expensive, but inspiring. Spent a long time there. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff at this location. The store is wheelchair accessible and has pick-up parking spots right out front for those who want their order-ahead items delivered to them at their vehicles. They have a great selection and are super helpful when items are out of stock and will help you locate it at another store. I love that despite covid, the staff is still so eager to help and chat about projects. This place has been a haven in the chaos!

I like Michaels...however it was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE due to POOR air-condtion. I felt as if I would pass out, a few others had hand held fans. I plan not to return to Michaels soon. It was a scary moment for me.

Favorite craft store

I can always find what I need at this store and the customer service is friendly. My only gripe is that it is a little chaotic with the amount of product, which causes some cleanliness issues. Otherwise, everyone has been following pandemic protocols with masks, social distancing and limiting people in store

Always find something at Michaels but hadnt been since Covid hit and was surprised how sparse many shelves were. Looked rather dismal... Id have thought theyd be doing better with many folks stuck home, feeling creative. Perhaps Michaels isnt getting their overseas stock efficiently in these perilous times? They offer a coupon for 20% off all non-sale items, which is nice. Public bathroom is currently off limits. Hope business picks up and they dont go under.

Love the Michaels here. Workers dont bother you every few minutes about needing assistance. The store is clean and items are 99 percent in tact. When Im not expecting it, there are discounts on most items I buy. Customer atmosphere is also nice. Its great!!!

I love Michaels but this is probably going to be my favorite branch now in Monrovia (even if its quite a hike from Pasadena. All the associates are polite and helpful, most especially Jackie when she really went out of her way and offered to assist me in finding the ribbon that I was looking for.

I found a large yarn skein with no label and there was not another one with a label because it is discontinued. When it comes to yarn that has been discontinued and has no label it’s a hassle. I had a picture of the same yarn to identify it with the UPC code and because the yarn upc scanned for .99c the employee could not believe it was the actual price and called her Manager, Patrick. With Patrick the same thing he couldn’t believe it either, therefore, he would not honor my proof because him and other people could lose their job. He says he would go to his office and find the number. I told him I am telling you the truth. This yarn color is no longer on the app it is discontinued and you will not find it. Whatever happened to “the customer is always right?”. I feel he gave me a hard time. I happened to have a receipt from a week ago for the same yarn in my car. I went to go get it and only THEN I was able to purchase the .99c yarn. What an ordeal I tried to help them by providing a picture of the label with the same yarn color and they didn’t believe me. So dissapointed. What will corporate do?

Though they were going out of business due to the big yellow signs with a big black riding saying clearance 50 to 60% off turns out it was only on some items and they do that every certain time of the year so youre not going out of business. Amazing place to buy every type of Sharpie marker and many others.

My go to craft store. They usually have what I am looking for. Lots of coupons offered online, and discounts in store. Friendly cashiers that are knowledgeable in crafts.

I visited the frame area looking to frame a picture. I was meet with a very unenthusiastic employee. It was like pulling teeth to recieve any support with ideas on what would look nice or when the individual made suggestions it was as if they couldnt be bothered to personally show me what they meant. Needless to say I took my business else where. What a shame for this company at a time when every sale counts.

I had a bad experience at this Michaels. I wanted to buy infusible ink markers which I know how expensive they are, but I saw them on sale. When I pulled them off the peg where they were it was $39.99. When the cashier Hallie had finished ringing them up, I asked how much they were. She then told me they rang up for $49.99. I told her that the peg we pulled them off it said $39.99. At this moment she asked us if she wanted for her to check. I said yeah because it was a $10 difference. She asked us to wait to the side, while she finished assisting other clients. Not a problem, during this time my spouse went to go check and he took a picture of the peg with other products nearby. We got back in line and showed Haille. She saw the picture, she stated she had to go verify this. She went and confirmed that is where they were ALL located on a peg that said $39.99. She then proceeded to try and ask someone if they can do a return and process it as $39.99. At this moment a guy, I didn’t catch his name, he is tall blondish/brown hair, had like a man bun. He asked the cashier Haille what was going on, she explained what happened, also explained she went to go check. He then proceeded to question if they were really on the wrong peg. He went to go verify himself. He then came back and sort of whispered to Haille that the markers where on the wrong peg. She still didn’t have confirmation to issue them as a return and give the products to us at the price. This very same guy went back and was asking the Haille for the skew of the markers. At this moment I let her know if she can just return them, it would make it easier for everyone. She then got confirmation to issue us the markers at the price. I proceeded with the return. I felt this situation was handled very badly. They’re MARKERS. I used to work at Target and I used to do advertisement and price change in general. I know that when a customer finds a product on a wrong peg we honor that price. We didn’t have 2 three people checking the price. A customer photo/ one person checking was enough. I’m not sure if they doubted us due to race, as this is a predominantly white area or whatever it was. It just didn’t feel like management trusted us and doubted the idea that their product was placed on the wrong priced peg. I normally travel far to come to this Michaels as it is always stocked, I know I won’t recommend this store anymore or be coming here.

The cashiers are so rude. One of them completely ignored me purposely and her tone was so rude. Another person there said Jesus Christ when I told them my name. Maybe they need cultural sensitivity training. Really just the rudest the past few visits. Overpriced anyway so I prefer to go downtown where I can spend 1/3 of the price for rudeness.

This place has almost everything youll need for your craft hobbies, but their prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other craft supply stores. But it is convenient to have everything you need under one roof.

Great Selection, Staff is helpful and friendly. Stocked way better than the one in La Verne, I actually drive 10 extra minutes to go to this store.

It is great to have a crafts store in the area. They were very resilient despite the fact that other shops closed on the shopping center theyre located at. Nowadays there are other business opening nearby which hopefully will keep Michaels open. They have a great selection of arts and crafts products. They also run different deals every week.

They seem to have it all! So many materials for anyone to tap into the artist inside!

We called to check if they carry orchid paper flower. It didnt take them too long to check and they have it.Overall, satisfied with their customers service. Parking is available.

Good craft store. I head out here when my nearby Michaels doesnt have what I need (its a much smaller store than the Monrovia location.) Theyre usually pretty well stocked, and lines move pretty quickly.

Michaels is a great store but they need to do a better job on restocking the aisles, the aisle where they have the heat transfer vinyl always looks pretty empty and it seems like most of the merchandise is in plastic containers all the way up on the upper shelve were the customers can not reach it.Do a better job restocking the aisles!

I love shopping at this location. Staff are friendly and helpful. 4 stars because price labels can be difficult to read especially on the lower shelves. Tip: If possible go when they open. It gets busy fairly quickly.

Busy craft store that has a lot of supplies. I still like Hobby Lobby better. But a nice busy store so others must like it.

This place will always be my safe haven for great priced decorations and crafts! I needed a few items to complete my Xmas gifts and of COURSE they had what I needed! The line to wait in was well organized and plenty of cashiers to help out. They were polite and fast moving. Now that other stores have opened up in the same strip mall, Im sure Michaels will gain more business! Great hours to shop, organized and fully stocked! Thanks, Michaels!
