I really love this place the staff is pretty lay back they don’t really hassle you. I been going for like 16 years now that’s where I learned mechanics.. if I didn’t know how to do it on my vehicles I would go there to practice there first before working on my vehicles.. I always teach my self I find that is the best thing you can do because consciously you know your becoming better and better day by day....

They will RIP YOU OFF. Check receipts BEFORE you pay. Use a credit card if you can. Keep your receipt. The people you pay dont know what most of the parts are. Theyll charge you the highest priced part they THINK it might be. Paying by credit card gives you a record in your bank account and makes refunds (or price correction) easier. No receipt, no refund. They will not reprint your receipt. Even for a credit or debit card purchase.

Well organized and straightforward.Honors their warranty and gives refunds in cash.Also accepts credit cards.

I went to sell my car. I called an hour before and got an offer for 500. I went and they did a inspection of the car. I had to go to the checkout window, signed a few papers and got the check. Came out to 615. Better offer then on the phone. So i 100% recommend coming here first before anywhere else. Other places offered me 250 350. I got twice as much at this place

Although I did find a battery, Ive never met such lazy cashiers. They made no effort to locate someone who could assist- and they all congregate in the front listening to Mariachi.Workers...walk the yard..help folks find the correct battery..be helpful. Educate yourselves on parts. I get its a do it yourself, but everybody needs help sometime. Security guard was useless as well, given the large amount of photos of suspected thieves towards the entrance.

Ive been coming here for many years and it was a good place to find low cost used parts for your car. Ever since LKQ took over most of these yards the prices have significantly increased and they add even more fees on top of the price hikes. They charge core fees for almost any part now which makes no sense. This is clearly just a money grab situation. I strongly recommend using their app to receive alerts when the car you are looking for comes in. Its extremely helpful so you dont spend hours searching the yard. You can select which yards you are interested in and what specific year, make, and model you are looking for. The app notifies you as soon as the car is available and even gives you the exact location of the car in the yard!! Such a time saver and allows you a better chance to get the part youre looking for before the professional pickers devour the car.

My only advice at this place of business is to pay upfront or have any part you may be interested in come with a written receipt. I was quoted 2 different prices from the same window 10mins apart. A difference of $50 that management would not honor.

U can always find what your looking for. I didnt like that the first stalls to park where taped off when I went.

This is my go-to place since its just outside of my city. Plenty of parking spaces, cars are organized like a library so its easy to find, and so far Ive dealt with friendly/helpful employees. Theres a food truck by the entrance so thats good.

They have a wide variety of cars and log them with their locations accurately on their websites. I was able to luckily find all the parts I needed and more. Will come back should I ever need more parts. Prices are very good and cheap.

Today was my first day in pick your part location and I learned:The picture of the vehicle is a lot far from the real condition.You need to look for the ubication of the vehicle in the web page because if you ask to the pick your part crew they will point to a direction and you will spend the day looking between about 200 or 300 vehicles.I have not clear how pick your part charges you but next time I need to check twice with the cashier and avoid be asked for the rude guy on the door.The new car alert is a scam!, the mail came days after the car came into the place so you cant find a lotbof parts

No one was around to ask questions or assist you while looking for parts. Everyone was in the front, so you had walk all the back to the front. I will not recommend this pickyourpart to anyone.

Took a running car goodto fair condition. Worth 1500 to 2000 .was only offered 570. Wow... no damages running 1991 buick revi.I get it but what a rip off. And I drove it to them now if they a had towed it I would have gotten less. So beware if you take it.realy dont matter running or not...

Last time I was there I removed bumper I had to carry it all the way from the back end of the lot to the front and it was over a 100°. I was struggling with the bumper & dying of heat exhaustion and one of the worker got me cup of water no only that but he carried the bumper rest of the way for me. even tried to tip him with cash but didnt take it.

Just a really bad experience, I needed a headlight assembly and saw a touareg at this location so I took it apart and brought it to the cashier and I asked him if it would fit to my touareg, this is from a V6 and mine is a V8 and he said yes, they always work usually there are no returns,. I asked him if I needed a warranty and he said again they usually work you dont need it. So I bought it with no warranty, the headlight assembly fits but wont work, everything inside is different even the light bulbs. I went back about 15 minutes after since I tried to swap the headlight assembly at their parking lot and went back to the cashier 3099 and he sent me to the guy at the gate with the blue hat and he said that there is nothing you can do, you didnt buy a warranty you just lost your money and walked away. Kind of tricky business I will say, you got to check your parts needed end to end before you go if you are not an expert other wise you will loose your money as this blue hat manager said.

Was here April 29th. It was a very hot day, and I woke up on the ground covered in dirt, I imagined I passed out from exhaustion. Dont know how long I was out for, but a supervisor came to help me, he got me water and carried my parts to the front for me, I cant tell you how thankful I am. Thank you!!! Bring ice coldwater at least 1/2 gallon per hour.

Well I think I just made my last trip to these junk yards. They are selling parts like if they were new. Last time another one of their registers at the pendleton yard charged me for a fender part I told him I wasnt going to take. This time I wanted just a small trim and the guy at the register wanted the price for the whole part at the monrovia yard. These used to be places were you could actually get replacement parts that were affordable. Unfortunately now even when people are out of work they still want to charge an arm and a leg. Not to mention its not two bucks to go in, now its three. This is not a big deal if you could get affordable parts. Not to mention idiots are just breaking things and even if you happen to find a part someone just broke other things for the hell of it. And it seems that some of the guys at the tellers really need some people training.

Horrible towing experience. The tow driver had an attitude since he arrived. I moved my car the day before for an easy tow(street outside my house). It bothered him that he had to turn around because he was facing the wrong way. He turned around, I told him I was going to move the vehicle in front of my car back, to pull forward, so he can just pull in front it with no problem. No, the sir, por sus pinches huevos! Didnt want to pull forward so I could move the other vehicle back. He was going to pull forward in front of my car to tow anyways, which he did!!

The place is a bit overpriced for the quality of some of the stuff but what really made me upset is that on my way out after making a purchase the “guard” that was checking my receipt tried pulling me by the tool bag to inspect it without asking me first. I don’t care what the procedure is you don’t pull on another man like that without asking first. Youngster had an attitude like he couldn’t understand the concept of respect.where was he brought up?

I bought my mom a new car & I called to see what they offered me for a 2007 Camry se rims and all. It was running too. They offered me a price and when it was time because the car Battery was dead they took 150 off the price. I was mad called junk n tow from Commerce & they offered me the same and picked up my car 45 mins later. The customer service lady was awful that I hung up on her and sold my car in less than 5 mins cash no check to junk n tow.

Just like the other PYP these guys are great. Big yard and plenty of vehicles. The one thing that is lacking is something that the PYP in OC have is having their vehicles categorized by Make when this particular one has them in one section aa AMERICAN and all vehicles are mixed. Overall this one is one of the best....

Horrible experience. Called to verify they’re open, no info. Get there and they won’t accept my card at the gate. Finally get on the lot and there is snarled metal all over the lot and in the aisles. I checked ahead of time the parts inventory and they had nothing on the cars that the website said. Total waste of my time. Will never return. I should have expected this from my other terrible LKQ experiences.

Using the app to find where your vehicle is in the yard does make it way easier to use.But, they double the vehicles on the website for most of the yards.

The manager on Sunday is very rude doesnt know the difference between real money and counterfeit money they should have somebody that knows the difference makes it very inconvenient for everybody thank you

Staff is very disrespectful. I went in for core exchange and was given negative attitude right of the bat. To make matters worse I brought my core exchange late after 14 days. So it made it worse because the worker now felt in power to be even more disrespectful. I definitely dont recommend this pik your parts theyll belittle you instead of helping you. They need some training in customer service. 0 stars is what my experience felt like Im so disappointed.

Sale days are the best. If your on the rewards program they have made it more difficult to get your free entry. You need to wait in line at the cashier too so you can go back to the gate and give them the receipt showing a free entry. Wasted time. Better when they gave you the credit when you paid for your parts. Have only experienced that in Monrovia.
