I saw an ad online for a 49.99 special synthetic oil change so I made an appointment. I called to confirm the price and the technician said yes theres a special going on right now. I get there and another lady said that special only runs on Saturday. So it was really 59.99. Its still not a bad price for full synthetic but I feel like they should have not give me false informan just to get me to come to the store. Just an FYI price can change at any moment!

Wow how rude the guy was wish I got his name. Wow what a scam they seem to be running in my opinion. Conflicting information they give over the phone compared to on website. Too many REDFLAGS .. watch Scotty Kilmer on YouTube showed me all things to lookout for

This is the second time I’ve brought a car to Robert and he’s been extremely honest with me on what needs to be fixed and what can wait. He doesn’t beat around the bush and is always looking out for your best interest.I recommend his Midas shop to anyone who feels like they get ripped off anytime they have car troubles.He truly just wants his customers to leave happy, which I have both times!

Not really happy.. Went with a coupon for oil change for 19.99 they up sell me different kind of oil. Ok. But they didnt do the tire rotation... Supposed tires were not safe .. They could have done it anyways. Not going back to this place... By the way... Robert gives good customer service.

Ive taken my vehicle several times in the past and present due to the fact the service provided has always been up to par. The staff is friendly and willing to answer any of the customers questions without any hesitations. There are no run arounds. The mechanics know what there doing unlike some places that end up not doing the job correctly. So I will give it to Robert he is 100% a really stand-up guy and will shoot it straight, but I just find it really challenging to go back keep going to a place when the diagnostic for my check engine light wasnt fixed. I took it to a couple of other mechanics after and told me there are certain things we needed to replace, but for the amount of time I spent there and the money I spent, its a little frustrating that my light still keeps turning on even though we did the repairs and all things should have been addressed from the start. Really his pricing is fair and I think Robert does a great job on tune-up and repairs, but for something major I would have multiple mechanics diagnose your vehicles check engine light.

Once they got going everything went fine it just took 35 minutes waiting before they even pulled my car in very slow. And that little sticker that they put on your window the dude put todays date and the mileage that I took in the car to get changed so I had to do the math myself

My wife Went into Midas to see if she would need a 4 tire purchase,I unfortunately was not able go myself and have this done. The young guy whos name did not get due to his bad manners and dismissiveness seemed to be lethargic and uninterested in assisting. I know this because i was in her airpod as she talked to him. He was more focused on trying to get her to sign up for a credit card, disregarded the possibility of two tires and only quoted her for four. If you dont want to work, dont go to work, his lack of professionalism and customer services was enough for us to go somewhere else.I assume, and feel its only because she is a woman that he treated in such manner. I cant believe that even during this Covid-19 era that the main thing wouldnt be customer service and being able to assist the customers needs. There was no customers, the bays were not full, and even if they were it couldve been handled in many different ways. After all this she took the car to Huntington Tire & Auto Center Inc. on 511 W Huntington Dr, Monrovia, CA 91016 .. They did a great job, fast, attentive and felt like our business was wanted . Dont go to Midas, at least no this one.

Got an oil change. Brought it back for another oil change and the mechanic said it was sealed with silicone and would likely break when removing the drain. $1000+ repair that could have been avoided by them not over tightening it and using silicone. I consider this a scam. They refused to take responsibility.

Took my 2001 Camry in to mike to change out my timing belt, brakes, and tires and I have to say that his work is impeccable. He treats your car like if it was his own car. Its hard to find a mechanic that you can trust but after I experienced his work and because his price was so competitive I think Ive found a mechanic for life. Initial service was good, however the Tech tried to tell me there were issues with my tires and brakes (went in for oil change and stuck to that only) also tried to sell me a higher priced oil change bc of high mileage. Fortunately, my car is maintained accurately and those additional services were not necessary. I wish the auto industry would stop trying to gouge vulnerable customers. Life is expensive enough.

Emergency repair done. My daughter and I were traveling to Phoenix on a Saturday and our SUV started to overheat. They squeezed us in to repair the radiator, thermostat and hoses. They even stayed late to get the repair job done. We eventually made it safely to our destination.

I was having brake light and turn signal issues. I went to two different. Shops. Each wanted to charge about$ 150-200 to replace wires etc.I then went to the Midas shop on Myrtle. They diagnosed the problem in minutes and told me the problem. He fixed the problem without changing wires. It cost me only a fraction of the price the others quoted me! I trust this shop and definitely will go back for my car issues! Thanks guys!!!!

I got an alignment and tires, my car had no problems before I went in. After my so called alignment my car pulled to the left BIG TIME. I took it in and I was told drive 5000 miles and bring it back, well rotate the tires and it will be fine I took it somewhere else and they laughed at what midas told me, they immediately rotated the tires, no 5000 miles needed, and my car runs straight now.

I liked the family nature of the business; however the mechanical skills and lack of professional knowledge and best practices would have me scared to ever bring my car in gain. I have worked in the automotive aftermarket for 20+ years and very disappointing with this service. I came here based on a great quote for the installation of some shocks and struts + alignment. The quote was $250 less than RPM Garage or Pepboys nearby. Turns out they didnt have an alignment rack, or were not planning on using one and were going to guess based on the marks from the old bolt marks; however when they lowered the car the alignment was way off. My wheels rubbed on the fenders causing damage to the car when I drove it home. Also they did not use a torque wrench on anything. only impact drivers. If you are desperate they may be able to get the work done and for cheap; however if you want quality work you may want to try someplace else.

They are known as a muffler shop and claim do all types of work on your car. Very true if they know how to do it. Every time they worked on my cars they made them worse. In the process, I became another repeat customer. They claim they know it all but in but in reality, they tear your car apart, max the cost and have you keep coming back.The very last repair they did was to change a catalytic converter and by doing so they dismantled the entire exhaust system completely. A muffler shop who did not do a complete weld and took the factory installed resonator off the car in the process. The fume now comes into the cabin and the car sounds like a nosiest Harley.I had to take the car to the dealer and pay about five grand to redo what they did to my car. A muffler shop who could not do what they are branded to do best.

Went here for an inspection months ago. After all was done was charged a certain amount. My gripe with this shop was when I got my car back, I heard a loud chatter and thought my rotors were warped. I inspected my car myself and found the mechanic, a larger Hispanic guy, did not put back the anti rattle clips on the right rear of my car. They charged a lot for inspection and for them not to dtrtft, I will not go back. Also a shop in LA charged half of what Midas charges.

No good for smog checks! Made an appt... no smog check guy in today( 830am)... only other person that can do smog checks is the owner who wont be in till noon time. No phone call, no email, no text. They even called and verified the appt! Very disappointed and inconvenienced! I have an appt at DMV that i will now miss too.

Horrible. Never again will I take my vehicles to this place. Took my car to get a coolant flush and they recommended I replace the thermostat. So I let them. The very next day my car was overheating worse than when I had taken it in. When I called back I explained what was going on and they immediately said I needed to replace my water pump which I was positive wasnt the solution. I proceeded to take the job into my own hands when overheating began to get worse. I replaced all the hoses, the radiator, the thermostat housing etc. Not thinking I had to replace the thermostat because I had just had it done..WRONG!!! The thermostat they had installed to oem specs was totally different than the one I needed. So now Ive spent even more money to fix the problem that shouldve been taken care of from the beginning..I guess if you want anything done right you gotta do it yourself.
