I have gone back and forth between reaching out to discuss this ordeal but I have to, it was so inappropriate. I had purchased a car from Sierra Honda a few weeks prior to this disturbing incident. I am a Nevada Resident and had a very particular car in mind that I wanted to buy. It was very difficult to find this particular car in my area, however, I found one in Monrovia. I flew to purchase the car and paid in full. The purchasing process was pleasant however when I tried to register my car problems started to arise. Being a Nevada resident I needed confirmation that the dealership either did or did not do smog check on my car to register. I had remembered that they had talked about charging me for one during the process of purchasing so I called and one of the most disturbing and offensive conversations I’ve ever had in my entire life with someone named Ruben. I gave Ruben my information and asked if he could verify that I paid for this service and send me the form in the next hour or so I could simply register my car and his reaction was absolutely explosive. He continued to tell me that it would take at least 5 HOURS to even check to see that they performed that service on my car. All I asked for was a piece of paper so I could get the car that I paid in full for REGISTERED and this guy completely lost his mind, screaming at me telling me that what I was asking for was ridiculous telling me he was way too busy to email me what I possibly paid for. If I had PAID for this smog service I deserve to get proof of it, otherwise anyone would assume that they charged me and never did the service. Ruben spoke to me in such an angry and disturbing tone that I actually started crying on the phone. I felt attacked for asking for proof of smog. I asked for a manager or someone else I could talk to and he screamed back that he was the director, which would be a shame, how on earth could a dealership employ a manager with such hate towards paying customers.Something needs to be done about Rubens inappropriate and offensive way of speaking to customers. I have never been talked to like that in my entire life. He needs sensitivity training or to lose his position. He was so vulgar and angry that I actually started crying. I will be reaching out to other sources to ensure something will be done about his behavior.
Everything is good so far except you will only get 1 ride home and no ride back. “It’s our policy to only offer 1 time ride”. What? No one told me that policy when I got a ride home. How the heck am I going to get my car back?
Traded in my 2018 Hyundai Elantra for a 2022 Honda HRV and Tom was so helpful and patient. He understood our wants, needs, questions and concerns. He did his best to keep us within budget but also helping to give us the car that we wanted. Almost a month of having the car and we love it! Thank you Tom.
I took my Honda Fit here for an oil change, and was not impressed with the service overall.Pros:- staff was courteous- there is an outdoor waiting areaCons:- I had an appointment but was told that the wait was 2.5-3 hours. I opted to wait in person and the actual amount of time this took was closer to 5. I was the only one waiting in person, and no one thought to update me on progress until I asked.- the oil life was not reset- the tire pressure light kept coming back on until I adjusted my own tire pressure and then it was fine.- It turns out that they didnt put the screws back in on the front of my under engine cover, so it scraped on the ground intermittently on the 700 mile trip I took 2 weeks later and I didnt realize it until I got home.- There is a more expensive repair that my car needs, and that is not their fault, but it would be nice if the smaller things are done right so my day isnt completely terrible when I leave.I would not trust them with my car again.Update: I did reach out to Sierra Honda, and they looked at my engine cover. They decided that it was not their fault because they found evidence of outside influence. That influence was the damage caused by the shield dragging on the road.They are unwilling to stand by their work or fix their mistakes.Another Update: I wrote letters to both Sierra Honda and Honda Corporate, and they did contact me and want to fix it. They did, free of charge, and the work seems fine so far. So they do get credit for making it right, and I have adjusted my rating up a couple of stars. Thank you.
I have a Honda dealership 3 blocks from my house...and yet I drive 30 minutes to Sierra Honda whenever my car needs service. They have the BEST Customer Service! LOVE THIS PLACE!!! 🙂

I purchased a new vehicle here in June 2021. I had been in communication with several dealerships & David Kirby was one of only 2 who responded to me regularly & respectfully. Now I understand that sales/service people are dealing with more than just one customer/issue at a time, so Im not trying to say he got back to me immediately as some people might demand. But he would get back to me in a VERY timely manner which, like I mentioned, every other dealership didnt do even though they said they would. And if I had a question, hed answer it. No beating around the bush, no when you schedule a test drive I can answer your questions. And most importantly, he was the only one to work with me on a price that worked for both of us. He made my shopping experience so stress free & pleasant.Unfortunately, David was unable to be at the dealership when I was there, but Mehrdad Saatara was. He went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. He was friendly & hospitable in ensuring we didnt feel ignored. Even after the deal was done & we waited for the paperwork to be completed, he made us feel as though our purchase was important to them.A huge thank you to both David & Mehrdad, as they made this purchase so very pleasant & easy for us. We are beyond thankful.

I when over to check out the new Honda Civic 2022, and the guy that try to help me, didn’t even introduce him self with his name, when I started asking question, his first answer was when are you trying to buy a car. Like I’m here because I’m looking for a car, he should just worry about giving me the information I’m asking him. When asking questions he was referring to me as if I can’t afford it, I take my business elsewhere and buy the Honda Civic at another dealership.

Mike and Saul provided the best customer service one can ask for. We drove from Fresno, Ca to the dealership to purchase a 2015 Honda Odyssey with 26k miles. Both gentlemen were understanding and honest about the vehicle condition and price. After we test drove the van, Mike and team were able to have their outstanding maintenance team (master tech named Hanson) resurface the front bake rotors and replace the brake pads. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. I was looking for a specific vehicle thats difficult to find, and they had three choices! There are always minor aspects I dislike about shopping for cars (pre-owned), it is stressful for me, but I am satisfied with my purchase.

Made an appointment for maintenance service. Arrived on time and provided name and instructed to wait in car. Waited over 20 minutes while other cars arrived and received service. Entered service office and got a “can I help you” without looking away from computer screen. Explained I had appointment and was left waiting for over 20 minutes. Got a shoulder shrug and long awkward pause. I turned around, walked back to car, and left for Honda dealer in Pasadena. I try to shop in my own community. I acquired my Honda from Sierra. I will still buy another Honda but sadly disappointed with Sierra Honda maintenance and repair so will take car buying and repair service elsewhere.
They are happy to help you when you give them money. After you paid off your car, they won’t care about you anymore!!!! I paid off with cash to purchase my car, and I should get my car title, but they never give title to me! I went to Sierra Honda and told them that I wanted they helped me to solve this problem, and they just let me call other department. After I spent three hours to wait for that department pickup my phone call, and I only got answer that Honda department can’t help me anything, only Sierra Honda can help me because I paid with cash. I don’t understand why Sierra Honda didn’t want to help me in the beginning, and let me waste a lot of time to call and drive back Sierra Honda ! Bad customer service Honda dealer!

I recognized all the friendly faces at Sierra Honda as I worked locally and interacted with many or all at #SierraHonda happy with this location differs greatly with excellent customer care. Our time spent was a casual purchase and it flew by with ease thanks to a comfortable environment and smiles from everyone there. The sales person was very knowledgeable of the car and was able to work with me. Overall, I noticed the prices here were much better than some other Honda dealers in the area. Would recommend this one if in the market for a certified used Honda.

I have been looking to buy a car for several months now. We went back and forth on buying this but in the end our choice was to Buy from Brandon. This is our second car buying from him. We had a little bit of an issue with a sales manager (no longer there). When we came back to purchase the car we told him we were ready to buy and he had our car already in the front. We went in to finish the paperwork with a different sales manager Michael Cha and had a great and easy experience with him. They had everything done relatively fast and on to the finance manager Tony. We had a great experience buying our car from Sierra and dealing with these 3 men. It doesnt matter when I go or why I go to Sierra Honda, I am always a satisfied customer. They are knowledgeable, curtious, and ready to help me with whatever I need. Their excellence in helping me to get back on the road is beyond all others. Pricey yes but who and what isnt, these days. Sierra Hondas employees love the work they do and it shows.

The service advice, Vince is a great guy. I can trust him on any service I brought in. He is quick, patient, helpful, courtesy. I gave Sierra a 4 stars its not the advice but the parking lot is horrible. Very tiny driveway but actually the dealer improve better than a year or two ago.
Daughter has a 2019 Honda under warranty and and went in to find out why her car blew a 2nd headlight fuse in two weeks. Service people did not listen to her and just replaced the fuse saying that was the only problem and charged her for it. I guess not all Honda people are helpful after all.

Just purchased a 2017 Accord Touring. I absolutely Love it. I actually went in to look at and test drive an Accord Sport SE. Johnny, the salesman who helped me out was the best. I was not prepared to purchase a vehicle right then and I told him so but Johnny was very helpful anyway. I told him Id be back with my wife later but Im sure hes heard that before with no results. Well I did go back but the Accord Touring caught my eye. After looking at the sticker price I walked away and was willing to talk about a deal for the Sport SE but I couldnt get the Touring out of my mind. The deal for the Sport SE was getting close to my making a decision when I said what can we do with the Touring. Bingo the final out the door price for the Touring was great couldnt pass it up. Thanks to Johnny and his Manager they were able to put me in the car I really wanted. Nora in finance was just as pleasant to deal with. She was able to do the paperwork very quickly and easily. She was also able to convince me to purchase an extended service contract which I had declined earlier. She made sense. All in all it was an excellent experience with no pressure to buy. I will be back!!!

If youre getting service here, avoid Tina. She doesnt value your time or scheduled appointment. First time here, Tina said she would order a malfunctioning part for my car and let me know when it arrives. Never received a call or email from her except when she is asking me to rate her highly on their customer survey. The part is still broken.You know, I decided to give this place a second chance so I came back today to get my oil changeda check on the status of that part. This time I thought it would go smoothly, she had my keys in hand. Seconds later she gives them back to help another customer with an appointment time later than mine. Youre here pretty early, huh? What the heck, Tina? I have things to do, I had to leave because the appointment would take too long and interfere with my second job. This place is so close to my house, Im disappointed that Ill have to travel farther to find good service for my Honda.
I had an excellent experience here. Customer service was on point everyone was so friendly and helpful. They had a complimentary coffee bar and popcorn. I spoke with Raul about my new Honda Accord Sport I really wanted. I was super specific as to what car I wanted and the price I wanted to pay and thats exactly what he did for me. If I was to recommend a dealership for my friends and family to go to it would be this one.
Great place to drop your car off for its regular maintenance with an appointment. If you have an appointment your car will be available really fast. They have a good waiting area but the best part is they can drop you off locally somewhere as well. Customers service is excellent and everything is explained if needed.

We got our white Honda CR-V EX from Sierra Honda 2 days ago on 12/15/15 and we love our experience there. We were amazed by the large selection of cars Sierra has.Jason Fang was the one helping us out that day. We found him during our initial research process and spoke to him on the phone the day before we walk in to the lot. Jason was very professional on the phone and willing to help. He actually came WAY EARLIER than his normal work hour on the day of, to ensure we are getting the best, prompt service. We had an idea of what specs we wanted. The car we want was still in transit that morning, but he was able to get our car ready in less than an hour to the lot. Not only that he can get us a very good price; he was also very caring and patient. He explained in detail to my not so tech savvy mother of all the useful electric gadgets that come with the car and even helped her set up Bluetooth connection to her cell phone. He speaks fluent Chinese and English. We couldn’t be happier to have our new car for the holiday, all thanks to Jason!

Great credit and got charge for 5.6 APR for 72 months... with good down payment...i guess good credit doesnt count anymore...credit manager wouldnt bend an inch...this was the 4th car Ive purchased with this dealer...i guess loyalty doesnt count either... very unhappy...previous manager worked with me...

Excellent customer service! Car was in and out for service in a jif. Was even completed sooner than promised. Tina at the service counter provided superior customer service explaining each of the areas checked and what are the recommended specs. This is the best Honda experience I have had in the past 3 years of having this CRV. Today was the first time at Sierra. Next time, I will make the drive and come back.

We saw a vehicle that we were interested in online, so we went for a test drive. Frank G. was great! We didnt plan on buying the car right then and there, but Frank was honest and upfront about everything, so we filled out all the paperwork and took home an 07 Civic. It is a beautiful car and we were handled with care! I will definitely recommend Sierra Honda to my friends. Frank, who is also the fleet manager, showed us exactly why he is the manager; he cares and listens to us!
Jason and Angela were both amazing in helping our family find the perfect affordable van. They were empathetic to our needs and really went out of their way to make sure our three young kids were comfortable for the time we were there to purchase the vehicle. When we transitioned to Ruben we were also surprised with how personable and quick he was with the process. From the moment we walked on the car lot we were pleased with our experience. Winn is a really good salesperson! She knew what we wanted and she confronted her manager and even her boss. She even went out of her way to find a 2016 white accord when it was really hard to find. Her customer service is great and her personality is too. If you come here, you should go request her because she will make sure you get what you want at the lowest price possible!
I just bought a new car here, and the experience was amazing. I called a bunch of dealers to get quotes by phone... some dealers try to sweat you when you ask for a quote by phone or refuse to give you an out the door price. The guys here gave me an out the door price quickly and without hassle, and after shopping around, Sierra was by far the best price.Saatara was the dealer I dealt with and he was very responsive and courteous.I also asked for a rare and unique color/spec combo, and the folks here worked hard to track down the car at another dealer and have it sent over. They kept me informed throughout the process, and tracked the combo down even though other dealers said Id have to get that custom ordered.Once all was set by phone, coming in to the dealer to seal the deal was really smooth. We came shortly before closing, and they stayed in late to help finalize all the paperwork and patiently answer all the questions that a typical new car buyer had. I kept waiting for some moment when theyd try to tack on some extra charges or fees besides the out the door price they quoted, but thankfully they didnt do any of that.These guys are great!

Ive been taking my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid to this Sierra Honda for quite a few years and Ive gotten great service. The last several months I was having issues with the brakes that were originally serviced at another Honda dealership. When the brakes when out again, I took it back to Sierra and they fixed it with no charge. They were able to find the underlying issue and fixed it with no charge and washed my car :) Erik was the customer service person who helped me each time I went and he was communicative and helpful. I would recommend anyone to take their car to Sierra Honda.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. Bought a brand new Civic and the door would not lock. Have sent it in time and time again and the problem has not been fixed.I found the service department to be rude and incompetent.I have owned Hondas my entire life. At no point did I ever think I was not going to drive a Honda.I have remained patient and respectful but the issue has been going on for 2 years now.I have tried to politely and patiently speak with the service department, manager, and even the GM.The GMs most recent response was to try and sell me another car. How insulting.I am so disappointed in Sierra of Honda. I have wasted so much time trying to fix this.I work nights in Downtown LA. Can you imagine the anxiety I get every time I leave or come back to my car not knowing if it will lock or unlock?

Very disappointed. I bought a brand new car on Monday and its already in the shop. They said it would be at least a day and only when I complained to the manager did they offer me a rental.I said I just wanted to return the car, but they said I couldnt... is that true? Can anyone help? Any lawyers out there... if I buy a brand new car and find a defect on day 1, cant I exchange it?Ughhhh.... and I told them I needed another small SUV as my rental because I have children... but they said no!!

Both visits to Honda, my fiancé and I both felt welcome as well as not pressured by the sales man. We had many options and trust me they were patient. Went to upgrade my Honda and was greeted by Steven and helped by Charlie he told us to wait he was going to get a black Accord sport. He came back approximately 30 minutes later and said wait 2 more minutes. We got tired of waiting almost an hour. As we were driving away we saw him helping his previous customers. Horrible customer service. He saw us leaving and didn’t even come to apologize for the long wait.

I moved to Glendora just over a year ago. The closest to me is Sierra Honda of Monrovia. Being a Honda family for many years I automatically assumed I would be getting outstanding service. The same outstanding service I had received at every other dealership. I was mistaken. I found their service department to be a joke. Not a funny one. Not kind, not pleasant, not OK.I took my 2017 Honda CRV to be serviced at this location. Simple oil change. When I receive my car there was a dent in my door frame were clearly a tool was dropped. It was a perfect sent from a some type of wrench.Nothing came about from it. No one seem to be bothered and the manager on duty simply just put me off and gave me some numbers. They were not concerned in the least about my damaged vehicle. I called the numbers given to me a few times to have my messages ignored and called not returned.If that wasn’t enough when my Vehicle was being returned to me an employee, not paying attention to what he was doing, ran over a big orange traffic cone. It was stuck beneath my car. Again, no one seem to be bothered. AT ALL! In fact my husband was the one to remove the cone as the service employee just walked away. WALKED AWAY!!!!The last straw was when I received a call from this particular dealership in reference to a recall and service for my vehicle. When I explained to the young lady my experiences and how I would not be returning to this location her entire demeanor changed and became unpleasant. When I asked to be transferred to sales she simply hung up on me.This behavior and outlandish lack of supervision is beyond unacceptable!I am as one would imagine completely and UTTERLY appalled at the lack of experience and simple lack of concern for a long long long time customer.My suggestion would be find another location. There is nothing but children working in the service department with no supervision. There is a definite lack of leader ship in the service department offices. There is absolutely a need for a training and professionalism in the main building.Color me astounded and completely turned off by Honda. The service was so completely Amateur-based and ran We are considering going to another brand of vehicle.Disgusted,Ms. V Vega

I had gone to sierra Honda with just the mindset of looking at cars. As I had arrived to Honda, Brandon Cisneros had greeted me and asked me if I was looking for any particular type of car, as I told him that I had no idea or anything he started showing me different types of models of cars. Brandon showing me one car that had caught my eyes, he started giving me full details of the car to the point where Brandon had my win and I ended up getting the car. Brandon had great customer service, any questions I had he fulfilled to answer all my questions, he was very respectful, very talkative which was great. The whole time I was there I had a great experience and felt that his customer service was outstanding. I recommend Brandon to anyone who goes in looking for a car.
