I recently went to go buy a pair of shoes from here about 2 weeks ago and that was one of the shadiest transactions ive ever delt with. Shady staff as well. I brought the display shoe to the worker so she could bring my size out she said the display shoe was my size so i tried it on. It fit perfect so i told her id like a pair in this size. She said ok and took the display shoe to the back. She came back out with my shoes to the register. I didnt think anything of it until the other worker was about to open the box but looked at my very quick and closed the box even quicker but i assumed i was buying a NEW PAIR of shoes. Not a USED PAIR. As i was paying full price. I purchased the shoes went to go try both on outside the storeand when i open the boxnit is very obvious they gave me the display shoe. The white was yellow the shoe laces were dirty the bottom of the shoe was DIRTY there was no insul and the shoe just looked overall USED. versus the actual brand new shoe. I want to know why they tried to charge me full price for a very used shoe and not let me know anything. If i wanted to buy used shoes i would go to the thrift store not the montebello mall. I went back and told them that i know this is the display shoe and she said thats the only pair left. So i asked why would u not inform me? And proceed to charge me FULL price?! Horrible staff ive shopped at shiekh all over California and have never experienced such a shady transaction. Will not be returning to this location 100%. this all happened on january 3rd at 6:48 PM.
