I like how they prorate the rates when you dont move in at the first of the month.

The pros: Maxwell Mini Storage is safe. We had our things in storage there for close to 2 years without any issues regarding theft or moisture issues. They do offer a small military discount and they are close to base.Cons: They are also not located in the greatest part of town. No climate controlled storage available (at least not when we rented) and units are small (thin and tall-not wide).A lot of times we couldnt access our unit because someone else was parked in front of it or had unloaded their stuff in front of it or were going through their unit so their stuff was blocking our unit entry. Inconvenient hours without 24 hour access only open until 7 pm.When we moved out halfway through our final month (still had 2 weeks left) they initially refused to prorate our storage fee for the rest of the month and stated that we were going to be charged for the entire month. Honestly it was not a big deal because they are fairly inexpensive.However when we were moving our stuff out, we noticed our furniture and boxes were infested with house centipedes and silver fish.They do not spray as they should and now we have transferred these pests to our home. When I called management about it, they came to check the unit while we were there, but the noticeable pests being afraid of light, had already scuttled under the walls into the neighboring units. The manager said they do spray and treat for pests, but generally only if someone points out an issue. (Not a big help when you arent aware of an issue until its time to move!)The manager told us he could discount us if we ever decided to store with them again, and I flatly told him we certainly would not and he headed back to the office. He offered no other resolution and in my opinion that was not very helpful at all. Later that evening my husband received an email stating that they had refunded his card $17.76 for the remainder of the month. While that was considerate, I am highly upset that our furniture is infested and we took that infestation to our home. Blech!

When I moved to Montgomery I decided to do it myself and was surprised to see how easy it was to drive a big moving truck. I bought uhaul boxes for my move and they were a good price!This dealer was a great drop off point for me cos theyre right across from Maxwell Air Force Base.

My husband and I took a tour of Maxwell Mini Storage and were very impressed with the way this place is run. There were plenty of great storage units of various sizes, excellent security, easily accessible, convenient and the office staff (Kathryn) were super friendly. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Uhaul reservation was quick and easy. Rental truck was clean and properly equipped with dolly and moving pads. Was on my way in a jiffy. Will definitely return.

Rented a cargo trailer to move my crafts from storage to home. It rained that day but trailer kept my stuff dry. Biggest concern was long driveway from the street to my garage. Im terrible at backing up, doubted I could ever do so with trailer in tow. Ladies at Maxwell suggested I watch uhaul how-to video. Decided to give it a try - had a few false starts but I did it!!! Staff at Maxwell was very helpful. Highly recommend for uhaul rentals.

Just when youve given up on kindness, honesty, humility and plain old GOODNESS, along cones Katheryn and Shannon (and a great on site maintenance manager). They tell you ALL THE RULES UP FRONT in such a nice way. No sneaky mess to try to beat you out of one cent. Always so nice and I feel thay my belomgings are safe. Moving is stressful but these people make EVERYTHING so much easier. I havent dealt with such sweethearts and customer services like this in a long time. I had problems paying my bill on line and Shannon took excellent care of me. One day I forgot my wallet and was almost out of gas and the sweet maintenance man loaned me $$$ to get gas with. These people MAKE ME HAPPY. All of your storage needs will be met. Thanks Maxwell Mini Storeage staff!

Prior to my last move, I visited this business (maxwell mini storage) in search of affordable storage units. I was downsizing and needed some space to temporarily store all of my bedroom furniture and odds and ends from my closets. After their staff helped me choose a unit that was large enough to accommodate my stuff (I didnt have a clue), I noticed they had a few rental trucks parked out front. The trucks onsite were too big for my needs, but they were able to provide a uhaul pickup truck on my moving date with very little notice. They also sold uhaul boxes and padlocks. When moving in, I was concerned that some of my boxes would leak (I had printer ink, toner, batteries, toiletries and breakables inside). The staff generously loaned me a few wooden palettes (they said they dont always have them available) free of charge. This allowed me to elevate the boxes off the floor without stacking them on mattresses or furniture. All round good experience and attentive staff. I dont really have any brand loyalty, but have always had a good experience with uhaul equipment. Highly recommended!

Its a great mini storage facility the staff are nice and the storage rent wasnt crazy expensive it was overall a great place an Im definitely keeping my stuff here for a long time
