I don’t know what it is.....the customer service used to be great but I’ve tried to give them a chance and went a few times recently and I guess it’s just how they’re going to be at this location from now on. The sales associates do not even greet you, ask you anything, or are remotely helpful. 99% of the time I don’t need any help but at least acknowledge me. And it’s not because they’re helping anyone....they just sit at the register staring at you..which is weird. Also the makeup selection is small and they hardly have anything in store. Take a trip to penn square where they have a freestanding store with more options. Also the penn square location is always busy but the associates seem to at least acknowledge you, check in on you multiple times and are super friendly even if you don’t need the help.
Great atmosphere, very helpful when they have 2 on the floor. Very good hard to find skincare lines. Train urself not to look at clothes first.😱🌹

Bad customer service rather no service. I went in there and nobody greeted or asked for help. I was there awhile. With a product in my hands stood there looking around hoping for atleast two employees working at that time to pay attention but they didn’t. So I walked to one of them (who wasn’t even busy doing anything) to ask the information I had to inquire and she replied and walked away as I was about to ask further question about the same product. Upon my question she barely stopped and replied with an attitude.BIG THUMBS DOWN 👎🏼I’m a freelance MUA myself so I know a thing or two about hospitality.Not giving my business to this Sephora even thou I shop at this JC Pennys all the time.

The women that work there are so incredibly rude. Every few months I stupidly think it’ll be different but it never is. I was planning to spend a lot this time but instead I’m going to Ulta.
They do not have a huge selection since they are inside JCPennys. Some stuff cannot be ordered online if they are out of stock on something because it is through the JCPennys website and Ive noticed the staff is always surprised by this when they try to offer to order it for me online.... This makes me assume there are a lot of new hires all the time.The other thing is the sales girls are not very informed on their products like Im used to, say like they are at Ulta. Once, a girl recommended something that caused an allergic reaction after assuring me I wouldnt have a reaction to it. I was very clear about my skin allergies. I will only go here unless absolutely needing to, otherwise Ill stick with ordering from the actual Sephora website.
Moore Sephora employees are by far the worst employees I have ever dealt with! The ONLY person who is worth anything would be Heather, she is so sweet & actually has a passion for makeup! Everyone else acts like your a pain in their ass & hates life. I will never go there again! I go to Sephora multiple times a week-- I usually go to the MWC or Penn square location but sometimes I will go to Moore. Tonight will be the last time I step foot in that location. Even management is rude & treats you like your an inconvenience. Worse customer service I have ever received!!!
Waited for over thirty minutes with three small children and was never helped. There was one person working in the store and she did a makeover the whole time instead of helping any of the other customers waiting to pay or be helped.
Horrible customer service. Waited around for 15 minutes with no help, when the lady finally came up, she said one of the other workers would help me once shes done at the register, I waited patiently but she decided to help 2 other customers that walked in after me instead. Never coming back to this store. Its not their first bad review, Management needs to do something about this ongoing problem.
I would say the staff is very friendly, it was usually my go to for male fragrances. They had a large selection but I noticed as time went on that they never really updated their fragrances. They dont get the newer scents in. Very disappointed. That store claims to be the largest supplier of fragrances but I find that hard to believe! I have to go to Dillards or Macys for the new scents out.
Never coming here again. I came to this one because it is closer to my house than Penn Square (which I love by the way).I came in only needing my brow dip and concealer for them to be out of both things I needed. At first it was no big deal, because I can be a good customer and go with about 3 different shades and make it work.I went to the Anastasia counter to get the dip pomade and they were out of Taupe, caramel, and soft brown..so I go to the brow definer..they are oit of all those colors too.Next I need concealer, Tarte 12 hour and they are out of ALL SIX COLORS EXCEPT tan(which is pretty much brown). Go to my next option, Tarte Amazonian concealer..oit again of 2 colors. To make this review less painful, Ill tell you that they were also out of Makeup Forever full coverage too! I cant imagine that with all these products being different brands, sephora can be out. I think its a management issue with being irresponsible with ordering.Also most of the testers seemed to be busted, broken and dry.End rant.
