I bought two pair of glasses a few years ago at JC Penny. I was sold on the progressive lenses. I tried wearing them for two weeks but couldnt get used to them. Now Im thinking they were not made correctly but I didnt know any better. Recently the DMV told me I have to wear glasses to drive. When pulling out into traffic with these glasses on I cannot see clearly to either side and can only focus on a small spot no matter where I look. These glasses are dangerous. The offered to replace them for $185. I also bought a pair of prescription sunglasses and I can see very clearly through them. Recently they broke (spring) and they told me they cannot repair them. My total loss is about $300. There are not willing to do anything for me other than sell me new glasses. Meanwhile, I bought a pair of driving glasses from goggles4u for $51 and they work great.

My experience with Jcpenney Optical is horrible they said it takes 7-10 business days for a pair of Glasses and now Alejandra who has been helping me said I have to wait 3 weeks for the glasses. She never said that if would off I would off go somewhere else. I will be notifying my insurance about this. Customers dont deserve to be lied to. Please go somewhere else where they r gonna treat you good like you deserve.

I wish I can give them less than 1 star this place sucks customer service it’s horrible they treat you like ur asking them for free glasses I paid 230 at least give me a better service they don’t even offer you about the sells there having or whats better to purchase they don’t even have the right prices on the frames all they care is your money last time I come here really regret comin here . its way better at sears optical
