Great supermarket for high-end produce, deli items, and other foodstuffs. On the pricey side but in general you get what you pay for. Limited selection of interactional foods but many options catering to different dietary needs.

Nob Hill has a wonderful bakery department. I get all my cakes here. Its usually not crowded and has great produce.

Cashiers at this store have attitudes. I will start going safeway almost across the street. Better variety anyway

I dont give Nob Hill enough credit. It can do almost everything Safeway can do, but I rarely go there. I think its because of my upbringing. My parents were and still are Safeway shoppers. Its all I ever knew as a kid. When you need groceries, you go to Safeway. Its not surprise that I turned out to be a Safeway shopper when I grew up. Maybe if I was more of a rebellious child, I would have shopped at Nob Hill when I grew up just to go against the grain. Ive never been too rebellious though, I stuck with what I knew and thats Safeway. I felt safe at Safeway. Shopping anywhere else would have been completely out of my comfort zone.Its not like my parents had anything against Nob Hill. They wouldnt talk poorly about Nob Hill shoppers or anything, at least not that Im aware of. They just rarely shopped there and I didn’t ask any questions. Im not a Nob Hill shopper, but Im sure if I told them that I shop at Nob Hill they wouldnt mind. They would probably be confused/concerned that I felt the need to share that information with them, but they wouldnt mind. I hope that I wouldnt mind either if my kids end up becoming Nob Hill shoppers. It may not be where I shop, but that doesnt make it any better or worse, just different. Maybe they would be able to share their knowledge and experience from shopping at Nob Hill and I could do the same for Safeway. We could both learn and grow from each other. Anyways, Im getting ahead of myself. Im glad I expanded my horizons and got dessert from Nob Hill. I would have never known how incredible Nob Hill desserts are if I didnt go out of my comfort zone.

Nice store. They carry my favorite salad dressing, Angelo Pietro. This store also carries Yamasa soy sauce. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Pleasant environment, wine prices are much higher than Safeway, produce selection & quality is good, deli is minimal size.

Love the groceries here, great produce selection, gorgeous flowers, great customer service, but I have to admit I try to avoid buying my non perishables here, everything from a box of cereal to a jar of peanut butter, tends to be at least $1 more than the grocery store across the street, same brand even.

When I moved to Morgan Hill in the 1990s, Nob Hill was a very good grocery. Michael Bonfante sold the Nob Hill chain to Raleys in about 1997 and it has been in a slow decline ever since. First the produce went to supermarket standard and then the Nob Hill labeled package and jar goods faded in quality. Most recently the craft breads took big drop in quality. I still think it is somewhat better than Safeway and I really like the people that work there. The deli is still fair but the meat department is pretty limited.

The store is smaller than a lot of other Knob Hill stores, but they have good meat and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We bought filet mignon here lately and it was better flavor and better trimmed than Whole Foods!

Usually go to local family market. Was nice having much more variety in produce. Dont think that outweighs the difference in the amount of people I have to interface with, though. James was friendly at register and I was checked out pretty quick.

Always clean,very good quality, fresh produce and meats. Staff and service is right up there too. Excellent liquor and wine selection as well. Nob Hill Foods welcomes you!

A bit pricey but I love the upkeep and selection particularly these days. Worst part (now and in the before times) are some really slow shoppers.Self checkout computers a bit different from what Im used to but perfectly usable after a moment.

This is the best grocery store in Morgan Hill. It has the best selection, best produce, and best service. Its a little pricey though.

The store has a wide variety of items, but instead of 50 of each variety, they have maybe 20 so the store is smaller and easier to navigate

It was a bit overpriced yet we got what we needed for family get together.

I’ve been shopping bob hill for4years and have watched this store go down hill. Went to buy fresh corn and it was dry and looked old, produce is expensive and not always fresh.bought a pack of croissants and they were dry and not edible. Guess I’ll try Safeway

Super fresh produce and great service. The butcher will help cut meat to your specs and season or marinate. Also its kept very clean even in the bathroom.

Over price fruit. Not very fresh, I got an assorted fruit bowl and it had 2 wild berries, big strawberries that were bland and took up most of the fruit bowl. A bunch of blue berries that were and not sweet at all. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Raul is an awesome clerk. He knows my name when I come through his line. He talks and plays with my kids. We always try to get in his like if we can.

I went on a Sunday and a lot of people but it still took less than a few minutes to get checked out.... Awesome! Veggies look good and I like how they have natural foods mixed with regular brands.

This is a bit smaller than other Nob Hill locations Ive been to, so there are some items I havent been able to find here. Usually, I can find mostly everything, the store is clean, never overly busy, and workers are friendly.

Store is alittle older and quite as polished as the other stores in town but they do have agreat beer selection of many different types.

Still our preferred store in Morgan Hill (Safeway in 2nd place), although they were better when they were Nob Hill (before Raleys bought them out). Many of the staff are carry-over from Nob Hill days, so thats a plus. Biggest issue is that Raleys product choice has not been as good as Nob Hill. Most irritating is Raleys will suddenly drop a product weve been buying for a long time (not talking about seasonal produce) causing us to search thru our 2 Safeway stores to see if they carry it (big waste of time) or we have to change to something else (again, waste of time and inconvenient). At times it has been a major change-up to where iles and shelves have changed drastically (staff says it drives them crazy too). Nob Hill was more stable and you could buy things from one month to the next without disruption (having asked the staff they say it is a centralized buying issue they have no control over). Other than this sometimes irritation of sudden changes in product availability this Raleys retains most of what we loved about Nob Hill (but do miss the days of Big Mike).

Nob Hill has everything the oversized markets have, with more variety and more customer service. Good produce and all local products tagged so you can find them easily.

Nob Hill Store has very good customer service! The store is always clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have some organics in most of the different sections in the store.My only real complaint about Raleys/Nob Hill stores is the marjority of the package products and baked goods have either corn syrup, or trans fats, or table salt oppose to sea salt, or dyes in them. This same complaint counts as well for the major supermarkets. I for one, am tired of being poisoned by foods. People have a right to know what is in their foods. When you do not know, food ignorance will kill you.
