Another great experience! Excellent customer service! They have helped me so much with my car. They break it down so I can understand what is going on.With my most recent problem I have taken it to other cheap/budget car repair shops and I have gotten outrageous estimates and “potential problems” into the $20,000 range. Paid over $200 for a camshaft sensor replacement and drive home with the car still messing up. I bring it here for a second opinion and am told the problem is SIGNIFICANTLY less money.Long story short take it to professionals! Here they are affordable, they do it right and they’ll help you understand what is going on with your car. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

Skip and his team did a great job diagnosing and fixing my engine problem. Zach was honest and up front about what needed to be repaired, kept me informed, and was pleasant to deal with. When the repair hit an unexpected problem late Friday afternoon, Skip came into the shop on a Saturday morning to figure out what was wrong, called me to explain exactly what the problem was, and fixed it that day so I could have my car back for the rest of the weekend. 10/10 recommend! My repair ended up taking much longer than estimated (at no fault of their own) and they still only charged me the price from their original estimate. Problem is fixed, everyone was very nice, and I never felt like they were trying to take advantage.

The owner, Skip, is super communicative and helpful. I love the company and feel comfortable referring folks here for older import models for sure.

I can only give him a 3 right now because he couldnt work me into the schedule on very short notice. But, he was helpful, asked good questions and made good suggestions. I definitely feel like I can trust Skip if I need work done.

I hit a pothole and broke both struts on my truck. I was able to limp into Heiskells. He saw I was going on a trip, and was able to get me done that day. My truck has a lift, so it was more difficult than anticipated. He took me into the shop and showed me that the other side was actually cracked and needed replaced also. All of the mechanics here are very smart. Needless to say, Skip has done all of my work since. I have never had one complaint or issue. The only problem is that he does such good work, he is often booked a week or two. .

Heiskell is the best shop in Morgantown for foreign cars. They were half the price that University Motors quoted me. The staff was really friendly and also timely. I will be returning for sure!

The team at Heiskell Automotive really goes out of their way to be helpful. I had problems with my car that were difficult to diagnose and they kept working at it until they figured it. I drive a Volvo and they are the best place in town for working on foreign cars. Friendly, fast and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

We love it here! They are kind and professional. Their repairs are affordable, and we dont feel like we are getting taken advantage of. They also get the repairs done fairly quick.They have a waiting room with a bathroom, and I have been able to wait there with my two small kids.

Great customer service and response. I’m confident in the quality of their work. Easy to make an appointment and reasonable waiting time. I’d like to give a 5 star rating but twice now when I’ve taken my car in they rotate the tires they’ve forgotten to fill the tires properly. I have a VW and front and rear pressures are different. I was very close after the first time it happened and they were very apologetic and I took it in and they fixed it no problem. The second time I didn’t notice the issue until I was home. An easy fix but just inconvenient. In all fairness I didn’t let them know the second time; I’m certain when I mention it the next visit they will take care of it. I would recommend this business with confidence. I’ve recently added a star as the next time I visited the tire pressure issue was discussed, resolved and I’m confident it won’t be a problem in the future.

I was driving from Virginia to Ohio when my tire pressure light came on. I have no idea about anything car related so of course I panicked. I pulled off the road and I called a local shop, which was Heiskell Automotive, and asked if I could stop by for them to look at the car. The woman on the phone was so nice and she was so nice in person when I arrived. They were so friendly and also really helpful. They didn’t even charge me for putting air into my tires. I asked a friend for a referral for a good mechanic. She recommend Heiskell and I am so glad that she did. The communication from the shop has been excellent. They called with a diagnosis of the problem and gave me options to proceed including cost estimates. At no time did I feel like I was pressured. Later they called and let me know that the necessary parts had been ordered, when they were expected to be delivered and when the repairs would be completed.I plan on having all my future work done by Heiskell due to the overall positive experience of doing business with them.

We had heard they do free diagnostics, but when we picked the car up they were going to charge us because it needed to be taken to the dealer for repair. I was surprised by this and told them I thought it was a free diagnostic and they were very kind and said that they should have been up front that if they can do the work in shop it is free otherwise there is ac charge. They waived the fee and were very pleasant through it all. This is the kind of response that builds trust and develops customer relationships.

Wonderful customer service. My truck broke down at the gas station near them. Skip came to the station and tried to fix it there to save me the tow, unfortunately it was a bit more than he could trouble shoot there. He stayed late at the shop until I could get it towed there and had it working by mid day. If you are in the Morgantown, WV area, they are the shop to go to!

I didn’t end up using them due to the fact that the lady handling things was a bit rude and had no customer relations skills. I can’t speak for the actual mechanic ability. I was referred to them by a friend which told me they would help me out. I needed my heater core replaced. It isn’t a easy job but not a very hard one I called the shop and the lady who answered flatly refused. I then had another smaller project (replace starter) So I decided to see if going up there in person was any better. Nope. Use your own judgement but I won’t use them or refer

BAD Customer Service.Called on a Monday to see if they could fix my car. The guy said he would take my info and ask his wife and call me back the following day.Friday came and I had to recall them. He said his wife said she did not want to work on our car because we were not a part of her social network and to take our car someplace else!Screw these people!!! I would never ever tell someone that, let alone be in business where you only want to work on your friends cars or only the rich!!NEVER EVER WILL I TELL ANYONE TO GO HERE!I will, however, tell them where they can go!!
