Excellent service. Told them what I needed and was measured, fitted, and out the door with tailored pants and a new shirt in 15 min. A gem of a shop with a personal touch and nice clothes.

Stopped in for a fitting for sons upcoming wedding. What a great experience. The place was very busy but it was so well managed. Everyone was being tended to. The employees and owners are exceptional. Purchased a few items and am totally satisfied. Exceeded my expectations for good service in today’s world. Phil is excellent and very personable and professional. So I found a new menswear store for everything from formal wear, and shoes to golf shirts and pullovers. Poor services. I looked like a minon in my pants and i was told thats the best they could do. Our coats had hanger dust in the coats where they looked to have been stored for ages. Had to pay for a coat that should have been covered under insurance cause my son had a small rip in the shoulder and it had already been fixed by a previous rip. For 140.00 rental its far from worth it.

Went to Daniels to have a suit altered after another local menswear store butchered the initial alterations. The associates were very helpful in getting the alterations figured out and they were executed with precision. The prices was a bit higher, but still very fair considering the higher quality workmanship and the tight time frame they were able to fit me into. Ill be bringing my business to Daniels in the future

Amazing service, will work with you to get things done in a hurry if you need it. We live out of Morgantown, and the tailor was out the day we were there. They overnight-ed everything to us through the mail. Will definitely get my next suit from here again!

Great place for mens wear. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about mens wear and will help you make great decisions about what to wear. Its incredibly helpful if youre fashioned challenged like myself. The prices are competitive to any of the national chains and the quality is superior. They have sales all the time so you can get serious bargains if you keep an eye out!

You can find clothes for rent for different formal occasions at a reasonable price. The tailors who attended me were very kind and helped me choose the best outfit for the occasion I needed.

Left my dress shirt for a wedding at home for a wedding on Saturday. Found this outfitter less than 10 minutes from downtown. Came in, was addressed immediately, measured, and told to try on the shirt for fit. Upon hearing it was for a wedding 4 hours later, it was steamed/pressed and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes. The shirt was an unknown brand, but high quality, made in Switzerland. Great experience.

The prices are high, no doubt about it but the clothing is quality and the staff make it worthwhile. If you want your suit to fit like it was made for you and have the right look for the occasion go to Daniels.

Phil showed me a couple sport coats that were fashionable and retro that were really nice. I tried them on and they both fit well. I selected the one I wanted and he took some measurements for the tailoring process. Phil then selected some trousers that were fantastic and I tried them on and they looked great with the jacket. He pinned them up and chalked them for alterations and finally selected a shirt to complete the look. The greatest thing about Phil is that he delivered the tailored garments by hand to me in plenty of time before the wedding. The clothes fit and looked amazing. Later that night of the wedding I got at least 4 different comments on how good I looked. That was cool. Daniels Mens Store is the only place I would get my suits or high end mens clothing. I know they are going to make me look my best.

Ive got a coat that I try to take very good care of, and over the years Ive brought it to Daniels for maintenance and after experiencing the good service and the high quality of work they do I felt I could trust them to do an alteration to the coat Id been putting off for a long time. I was just so worried about it going wrong. But Daniels did the work beautifully, at a good price for the quality.

Went for an alteration for my trouser.It was long and I needed it shorten.They did that and dry-cleaned my pants. A little pricey but would recommend.

A helpful staff member showed me a selection of dress shoes, made helpful recommendations, and offered useful information about the materials, construction, and advantages of each shoe style. The process was not strung out or pompous like other mens stores Ive been to. I was in and out with a pair of J&M shoes that were my style and fit great within a half hour! Great selection and service.

Walked in and was immediately greeted. Worked with my husband to find a sport coat to fit him correctly. Theyre even going to do the alterations quickly so he can wear it this week.

I never post reviews. This may be my first review ever, but this is how strongly I want to express my concerns for this store.Overall, the look of the store is great. If you want high quality clothing with a bit of a jacked up price and don’t mind blowing the extra cash, go here. But what this store gets wrong is it’s rude, and annoyed customer service.I went in to the store hoping to either rent or purchase a navy blue blazer for an event that night. The man who assisted me, a little older with white hair and a white moustache, was an incredibly rude off the bat.After tailoring me, I mentioned my budget. As a student at WVU, I don’t have $300 to spend on a navy blazer. When I told him my budget, he told me “that wasn’t going to happen” as a he laughed and got someone else to assist me.I should’ve left the store right then and there, but the next lady who assisted me did seem to be much more positive and accepting of what I was looking for.I would not recommend Daniels of Morgantown to a friend, or any casual male that doesn’t make 120k+ a year4/10

Cant say Im overly impressed with everything. Rented a tux for a wedding and during the fitting I mentioned that the pants felt too loose. My comment was looked at and then disregarded saying it fit well. 20 minutes into using the pants they were about to fall off me. Had to pin them to my shirt to hold them up. Another member of the party found lint all over his jacket after getting his jacket and keeping it in the bag the whole time.

This is a clothing store for men. Been around for a very long time, if your looking for casual,business,to tuxedos, or if you are into WVU Football and looking for the man in your life then this is the place to go ask for Mr. Phil and tell him Kim sent you maybe you can get me a few brownie points with him...also have a tailor there if you need anything tailored!!

Great place to get a suit or any other professional clothing. I went there 30 mins before close and they were able to easily fit me to a suit. Its been a while, so i was unsure of the size and they were able to fit me no problem first pants and first jacket was perfect. Also gave a great discount as I expressed concern for the price. We rented my our tuxes for our wedding from here. They were very easy to work with and the tuxes looked great. Just make sure all of your groomsmen try them on when they pick them up. Some of our bridal parties were not the right sizes at all, but they were able to easily change out the sizes in the store!

I have been shopping at Daniels ever since we moved to Morgantown 15 years ago. I have also shopped at other Mens stores and at department stores, and here is what sets Daniels apart for me:1. There is knowledgable staff there to help you find what you want. On every visit, there was always someone ready to help me and spend the time with me throughout my visit. I typically walk in and say something like I need brown winter pants with expandable waist. and they show me what they have. Or, I need a jacket, but I dont wear them often, and they show me a jacket I can wear with tan, navy, or olive pants. These are not here-today-gone-tomorrow staff. These are professionals who know what looks good on you and what is available.2. They dont sell junk. Every department store shirt I can remember loses a button after a few months. I dont have time for that. I wear their clothes to work every day (business casual) and the shirts and pants I have from Daniels last me a long time (and keep their buttons).Yes, there are items there that are beyond my price range, but there are plenty that fit my budget. If the number of dollars out of your pocket is your only criteria for choosing what to buy, then this is not your place. My assessment is that when I factor in my shopping time, and having to shop more often to replace junky product, and I consider the service I get, Daniels is a better value over the long run.

Extremely rude staff. We rented nine tuxes for our wedding, totally over $1200. I had my two young nephews in my wedding party. When they went in to pick up their tuxes, the staff was extremely rude and kept making jokes regarding their weight. They are KIDS! This was very embarrassing to them and this experience will always be associated with our wedding. This was their first experience with formal attire and this will continue to stay with them.When we returned the tuxes, I brought up the matter with the staff. One gentleman immediately began denying it happened by saying That doesnt sound like anything someone here would do. I was just raising the situation to their attention and was immediately called a liar. It wasnt until a lady came over and admitted that it happened and said it was a man named Saul. They then began trying to excuse his actions because he is over 80 years old. Age is not an excuse for the rudeness. They mentioned that theyve had similar issues with him in the past. This is a terrible reflection of a business. They did not seem to care about what happened and offered nothing to make up for it.

I have tried to shop at Daniels for 35+ years and Ive finally decided to give my mens wear dollars to Jos. A Banks. Daniels has nice clothes, but the prices are very high for the quality. What I find most disturbing is the lack of courteous assistance. I find a very chilly reception - like I am bothering them as I shop. They always greet you at the door and will help, but there is an air of arrogance and snobbiness I just cant get over. I feel like I am not worthy of their store and that they really dont want me in there. That being said, I am very professional and Im not one of those pain in the rear types of customers. I simply want to support a local business, but in this case, Im going with the large chain store. Daniels fails to provide friendly customer service and I just dont need that.

Absolutely awful service, salespeople did not even greet me when I entered the store they were busy talking. Of note the store was completely empty and I was the only customer. Prices are sky high and coupled with lack of service makes this store completely worthless. Of note I ended up purchasing a suit at JosABank in Suncrest where salesperson devoted her total attention to me and helped me make a purchase. BLUF stay away from Daniels.

We rented 7 tuxedos for our wedding and the experience was miserable from start to end. The staff argues with us over preference and taste. If we werent up their butts complimenting them and agreeing with their taste and getting what THEY wanted us to look like, they treating us as second class. They did not listen to us and did not put everything that we told them we wanted on the order the first time, and when we confirmed months later, we caught it (thankfully). This item was against their taste and I assume omitted intentionally. They took longer than quoted to get the rentals in. 3 of the 7 had pieces ordered in the wrong sizes. One of which was the groom for which they could not correct with the store stock and we were left not knowing if he would have a suit the day before the wedding. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. Unless youre in the mood to argue, in which case, this is the perfect shop for you.
