Everyone was very nice. But I have to say I was told for a oil & Filter change / Tire rotation it would be an 1.5 hours. This to me is way over the time needed w/the proper tools. They did do an update for my radio that took two more hours. People were friendly but way too long.
I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this dealership for service. I brought them a 1993 Sierra because I had a coolant leak. They recommended the installation of an intake kit along with other items to go with it at a cost of $997. I picked up the truck and a few miles from the dealership it overheated. I got it back to the shop and it sat for a couple weeks was told it was ready but it overheated again. This happened 4 or 5 times. I had to go to another shop to get it resolved but the damage had been already done to the engine and a few months later the engine failed. New engine another $4400 at another shop. They broke down the engine and found they installed the kit wrong restricting coolant flow. I went to the manager and they offered me $100 and that is it.
I usually go to a different dealership to have my oil changed, but I recently moved to the area, and this was my first time going to this one. Phenomenal service! Duane kept me informed on what was happening, walked me to my car, and even took care of my oil change since it took just a little bit longer!The last time I went to the other dealership for an oil change I ended up waiting 3 hours and they did not update me once. They also informed me that I should take the survey and give them great ratings because thats how they get paid. (The gentleman at this dealership only mentioned the survey once and did not push that this was his only method of getting paid.)This dealership is substantially better and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Once I get the survey, I will be filling that out. Duane was awesome!
Bought my Cadillac here. The initial salesman didnt know much about the product. But I recovered with a different salesman. All went ok afterwards.. update*** service has been and is awesome. You gotta get this Cadillac coverage... i will never go without it again.. that secure feeling to know its covered is well worth it. ***UPDATE*** car and tint looks good

We drove to the Jefferson City area on vacation. Our GMC Yukon developed a vibration at the end of our 9 hour drive on Sunday. I scheduled an appointment that evening online for a 2:00 PM appointment Monday. They replaced our power steering pump and had me on the road by 5 PM.

I had a tire installation done on Monday September the 30th. When I got home I noticed that both of my doors were scratched on the ends. So I contacted Kim Cardell by email and she called and told me to come to the dealership so Bob Berry could look at the damage. When I arrived Bob Berry and the technician that did the work met my at the service door and we went out to look at the damage. Right off the bat they said they didnt do it. In my opinion, Bob was quick to defend his technician I didnt feel like he was compassionate about my complaint he basically called me a liar. Therefore, it upset me and I ended the discussion and left. I am not trying to take advantage of Rusty Wallace dealership I just want my truck to be in the same condition when it leaves the dealership as when it arrived. See attached.

I traded my 2018 Optima for a 2021 Kia Sportage, my third trade at this location in the past 6 years, and I worked with Samuel Boyd. This was my first time working with him, but he was AMAZING! I would give no stars if I could! They were rude and degrading made us feel like we couldn’t afford anything when we could, we were literally there to buy a new car but they missed out on a sale because the way they treated us. They have no idea what they are doing they couldn’t even tell us anything about the car we were trying to buy it’s like they know nothing about the cars they’re trying to sell! DO NOT GO HERE! My turbo went out on 2020 Kia Forte & even with a 100,000 mile warranty they REFUSE to give me a rental car. They told me it would be month to 2 months before they could even fix it! Now I’m out of a car and still making payments. They are rude and not helpful!

Of course the sales staff (sales manager, I think?) behind the scenes that worked with the banks was awesome too! Would highly recommend and will be to my family and friends.

I have purchased 3 automobiles from Rusty Wallace, and several members of my family have purchase from there over the years as well. On my 3rd (and what will be my last purchase from this dealer) I still can not account for $1000 on the out the door price verbally given to me verses the actual price I paid on the sales invoice. Only 10 days after the dealership got their check, the AC compressor went out. I understand that I purchased a used car, and was not looking for a free repair, but they wouldnt even return my call to talk about what had happened. I left several messages, and even ask their service department (who charged me $150 just to tell me it was the AC compressor) to have the sales manager to please call me. The car also ended up having issues with the headlights (wiring) which the mechanic that repaired them said should have been noticed by the dealer during an inspection. The salesperson told me that the car had brand new brakes but I ended up replacing all of them. I spent $1,400 in repairs within the first few months of my car purchase. I have to say for me, my third purchase from this dealer will be my last purchase here
I had the absolute best car buying experience that I’ve ever had here! After shopping around for months after the highly sought after Kia Telluride and nearly being cheated out of thousands at local dealerships I gave Allison a call to ask about one they had coming in. She was very helpful and got me set up with Chris when I made the trip up to talk about the car. After some discussion and a few days of thought he went above and beyond to make sure I got a fair deal. Chris and his boss did absolutely everything they could for me and made my wife and I a customer for life. Also while filling out the paperwork for the car they were all so accommodating. Dennis in finance and David who set our car up for us were extremely nice and made us feel right at home. So after weeks of disappointment and bad experiences we finally have our dream car and at a rate that I never thought was obtainable. Seriously, if you are shopping for car, go here. I’ll never go anywhere else from now on!

I coordinated ahead of time about the purchase of a Kia Forte with the internet sales manager. I drove over an hour to get to the dealership (because they assured me the price they would sell me the car for). When I got there, they added $1000 to the price we discussed over the phone and via email. I ended up going back to Johnson City to buy a car from an honest dealer (Friendship Hyundai), where I got a much better car for the same money.Basically, they lied to me to get me out to the dealership - classic bait and switch. Not a good experience.UPDATE: I called Rita as requested in the response below and explained the whole situation (there were a lot more details than I included in the review). She was very nice and apologized profusely. She even offered to send me a card for $25 to cover my gas. Since Id already purchased a car elsewhere that same day, there wasnt much she could do to change what had happened, but I do appreciate the effort. The owner needs to make sure that the sales staff is communicating as a team, and ensure that they are not being deceptive or misleading customers. I dont expect a dealership to sell me a car at a low price, but I do expect that they are honest and transparent. Its the only way to sustain a successful business.

I went with my heart on my sleeve and without hope. However, my experience was phenomenal. I was upside down on my vehicle, but somehow they worked their magic and was able to get me into a brand new 2020 Kia Sorento. This was the first time I ever purchased a vehicle from a dealership. I did extensive research on everything from what kind of car I wanted to how to deal with salesmen. Kyle & Tommy did a wonderful job helping get the car I wanted at a decent price. After we took it, I had my own mechanic inspect it and found that the brakes and tires were bad on it. One call and Tommy worked me into the service center that day to take care of the problem. Not only did they fix my brakes, but they went ahead and did an oil change and inspection. They couldnt really give me new tires, but gave me a great price on them. I had to bring it back to the service center a few weeks later to get some things taken care of that we had discussed and the customer service was awesome. My husband is planning on buying a car there in 5 years once we get this on paid off. Great work guys and gals! Two thumbs up! :)

Their crew had everything working great and taken care of when I bought it, and I still havent had any problems with it besides some minor regular-maintenance things that my husband was able to take care of himself. 2008 and running great!
I bought a used Chevy Equinox from this dealership. The sales staff was very helpful and friendly. After driving the vehicle for a couple weeks I started having problems with the cooling system. I hesitated taking it back to the dealership because the vehicle had no warranty. But I believe the problem was there when I bought it. It is over an hour away That’s where my faith in great car salesmen was affirmed. Daron at Morristown location is one of the most fun, which eased my stress level, and knowledgeable, hard working young man I have ever met. He listened to what I wanted and did not want. He worked so hard trying to get me in the car I wanted and within a short time, I was driving away in what I thought was a great car. Daron is a great man to see when you go. They pressure you into buying a car. They will say things like this is the only one left. We won’t get another one for months. No other dealership has it in stock. When you can literally call and Knoxville will have 3 of them. I don’t like that should be honest upfront and have repeat customers. I think they are just worried about that sale then and there instead of the long turn.
