The cashier at the front had an absolutely terrible demeanor. The item I planned on buying was priced wrong. When I brought it up, she was rude, condescending, and short. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she replied with a short what, you want to talk to them? When she called up the manager, they were on a break. Then a young man came up, and asked how he could help. While I was describing what had happened, she kept interrupting, and adding her views. During one of these interruptions, I stopped and told her she needed to leave. Which she did, and went to the back of the store. While continuing the conversation with the supervisor, we could see her talking and pointing at the front where we were standing, with a very angry face. The young man was very polite, but this young girl was so terrible that I will never step for in Big 5 again.

Great selection of product BUT customer service was subpar. There were four employees and no one seemed to be very customer friendly. When I did enter the store, I had asked if they had a certain item. The girl at front went to go ask her Manager, but when she returned to the front she never gave me a response, but instead continued her conversation with another employee at the front checkout. So I had to ask her if she found out about the item I initially had asked about and she said that they didnt have that itemI also spent a lot of time in the shoe dept. and each time I was wanting to try on a pair of shoes or different sizes, each time I had to go and seek out assistance. The Big5 I remember there seemed to be someone wanting to assist you and was always an employee in/around the shoe dept.I did end up finding a pair of shoes I liked for a good price as well, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

Website says product in stock. Went in and product was sold out and was told that they were unpacking freight they got that day. Called back the next afternoon and was told that they were STILL unboxing freight. It shouldnt take that long to put freight away. Also, there should be a shipping document showing what was delivered. You can at least reference that to tell me if what Im looking for was delivered. I feel like Im being strung along.

Nice store, found what I was looking for and fun water toys for the grandkids.

Was in Moscow doing some shopping and stopped in to pick up some Nike stuff. Found a couple of tank tops and a jacket and went to try them on and found out that because of Covid they arent allowing people to use the fitting room.. the guy said take them home and try them on and if it doesnt fit bring them back.. That doesnt make sense to me.. so I just tried them on in the middle of the store. Its ok with a shirt and jacket. But I also wanted a pair of warm up pants and Im not paying that much for something I cant try on.. and after buying stuff the guy sounded upset when I asked him to put the stuff in a bag..

Best large/Bowie style knives around and only place to find strong telescopic fishing poles in my area. Cant beat telescopic when you want a travel tackle box to throw in the truck and forget till the time comes. Last one lasted 6 years and wouldve lasted longer if it wasnt for that 7lbs bass and the current it was fighting in, but still landed that monster (it came out of the palouse river) the river is only 1-3 foot deep all summer unless ya know the right spots that is....

Great service and prices waited on just a minute or so after entering door. Was also a very clean. The lady that waited on us was very knowledgeable about the guns and ammunition. Also sold us a few pairs of sunglasses. Thanks so much

Big 5 Sporting Goods - five starsGreat prices for quality shoes at this store. When I was growing as a kid it was very expensive to buy shoes all the time but we did not want the shoes to fall apart either so we would shop here and I would always get a pair of white Nike shoes. I would always get work boots from the same store because of the high quality and good prices. They also sell gym shorts at a fair bargain. They sell baseball bats, protective gear, and all sorts of things to help you exercise and have fun. The selection is great as are the prices, organization, and cleanliness of the store. The employees are so kind and professional that they will help you with finding the shoes that you need or anything that youre not sure is the best for you. Seriously - they will help you with the most trivial thing. A special shout-out to all the employees who work very hard at that store - thank you!

My husband and I went in and spent over 800 dollars on workout equipment and the next day we went back in to get some more things and the manager and an employee were talking about fantasy football and did not even look at us. We needed help and were walking toward them and trying to get eye contact and speak but they were so involved in their conversation. I finally was able to interrupt them and get some help but geez I think customer service is extremely important and customers come first!

High, high quality Nike headbands sold here. If you work out enough they become wristbands too. But anyway, the headbands keep hair and sweat out of your eyes which is a plus!

This place has a pretty complete sporting equipments.

Large selection of sport-related goods, but ridiculously overpriced. Helpful if you need a tennis racquet for an emergency, but if youre patient you can buy the same racquet for half the price online.

Friendly staff, simple store. Not always a huge selection but has sports stuff not available elsewhere in Moscow. Lots of knives.
