I have seen hand sanitizers in all cash registers this time. There were many people because this place is very popular and you need a membership to enter and buy there. This particular store looked nice to me.
Great Costco, no crowd at all on a Friday evening. Parking is a little tight. Friendly service
Costco is of course a place to get great deals, however leaving the parking lot can be a challenge. The line of cars coming in is non stop, and most of the time no one will be courteous enough to let you turn left toward highway 101. Overall i prefer to just shop at my local grocery store. For me accessing the store and leaving the store is part of the experience, this is why i give 1 star.
What can I say about Costco!!!!Costco has amazing stuffs with amazing prices. I love their pepperoni pizza. Employees are friendly. It’s a busy store compared to other Costco locations in San Jose . This location has one issue and that’s parking. As it’s in a complex with trader Joe, barns and nobles, home goods etc, parking is always tight.
Costco is always nice but this one is really convenient. Spaced out well, the lines arent wild and still have the food court
Costco is always a fun store to visit and this location is no exception. While youre there, dont forget to pick up your 5$ roasted chicken and your dozen muffins for 7.99$, and if you showed up hungry, as always you can get a foot-long hot dog and a soda for 1.50$. Imho, Its totally worth the membership fee if you shop there more than a few times a year.
They had so many useful material there and had a lot of seasonal decorations.
Not overly crowded due to COVID-19 and the advent of online shopping options. Some produce overpriced, bananas mostly overripe, and paper goods under stocked. Otherwise, just another Costco with friendly staff.
One of the best place to go grocery shopping . Prices are the best as compared to the market rate. Though many a times you have to buy more than the required amount of the product, since its a whole sale market . I love the bouquet and the chocolate section the most. The frozen chicken and fish are also of good quality here .
High ceilings and positive air circulation means I feel safe visiting Costco! Top favorites: prepped celery, prepped chicken dishes and quality products in every line. I can trust the Costco buyers to pick good things!
Jenny in the eye department is great 👍 she helped me with 2 glasses .she is friendly and cares about you having what you need and you enjoy the shopping experience with her.
The older gentleman greeter at the door was the nicest greeter I have had the pleasure of meeting in the past 6 months! You hear people say all the time have a good day thanks for coming and things of that nature and you know its just force of habit for them to say when this guy says its good to see you, you can tell he really means it, even though hes never seen you before in his life!He made my day
Classic, well organized Costco! Parking can be tricky during peak hours.
While standing at the checkout line, a Costco staff approached me about my membership status and asked to check my membership status, I gave him my membership card and he returned back to me and tried to up sell me the executive membership but I told I’m not interested, then he sarcastically told me I could of save a certain amount of money a year with a unfriendly look. Also, I will suggest to the Costco senior management to please retrain your supervisor staff to be courteous and friendly. Customer service is part of the retail business. Thank you.
This is a great costco. The meat department and alcohol selection is top notch.
Went to Costco today (2021-04-01) after 6:00pm. The store was rather quiet compared to typical. The store was well stocked! I even found my favorite Chocolate Covered Dried Mangos! Havent found them for a couple years... Overall a good day at Costco.
I went at 7pm. It was very easy to shop and with self checkout very quick to be done.
Costco was very pleasant for a Saturday. It wasnt crowded and the return line was very fast.. after shopping we did not have to wait for a cashier. I was thinking it was going to be a nightmare but turned out to be a quick visit.
Very Very tasty delicious and hot food Yummy
As usual a very pleasant experience. Found exactly what I came to COSTCO for: fish, pistachios, avocados, sundry OTC items & verified hearing location & services. Always savings & enjoyable MV campus. 😊
Somehow a huge disappointment every time, it would be doing them a disservice to not let them know.Edit: okay now I think its approaching a level of clairvoyance how they can somehow lack basic things every time. I never can go here and get more than 20% of what I came for. How?!? How do they fill a store so uselessly??? I swear they read my mind and take the things Im looking for off the shelf.
Costco is our consistent favorite for lots of stuff. The produce is good and the stores are generally clean and well maintained. We especially love the self check option because we get through so quickly!
Me and the family went to Costco and stocked up on wonderful items good quality bottle water everything is greet there and at a fair price
Its a costco. All the same, all good, clean, organized, great items. Parking lot looked packed, store was not.
Costco was good, youll find local produce like organic fresh fruits and good deals on frozen king crab legs(not farm raised) and youll find a lot of items that are USA made. Check out!!!
Not the best selection. Not the best staff.
Typical Costco. Great selection, great prices, and always busy on the weekends. Parking can be hectic during busy times.
Because, I was with family, lots fun. Of course store was clean. Our cashier was funny as heck, he couldnt get my brother-in-law attention, i called out his name, he didnt 👂🏽me, cashier hollered Michael which got his attention, I was almost crying i was laughing so hard.Cause Michael didnt know weather to be mad or not but because I was laughing so hard he had to laugh himself. i also feel as though people should bring their own wipes shouldnt count on store to have them
Great deals, low prices! What’s not to like? Oh yeah the parking lot can be a major pain
Good size Costco with easy access.
Terrible experience. The staff tried to upsell me the executive membership three times. The third time another employee said I still didnt understand and also tried to upsell to me. I had to raise my voice and tell them to stop upselling or I would walk out the door. That should have been a sign for me to leave but I decided to see what they were selling and what the prices were. I walked through the entire store and did not find a single product that was a good enough deal that it would warrant paying $50 a year for a membership. You can find similar or better deals at other stores, e.g. Target, Trader Joes, Sprouts and Smart & Final. You just have to figure out what is cheapest where. I immediately cancelled my membership for a refund and I got bad attitude from the staff. That made sure I will never be back and wont recommend them to anyone.
Great in and out fast self-checkout lines make it easy if you’re in a hurry and just stopped by to get a few items. I suggest that if you see something new and you like it, I would purchase it while you can; I came back the following day, and the item was gone.
One of the best places to shop in town!
Wear a mask 😷 and save. Shop here weekly. In market for new tired.
Well, its a Costco, with lots of things you need, and lots of things you didnt even know you needed, but somehow find their way into your oversized cart.
The parking lot here is a disaster and the staff on the floor seems annoyed that your there. The customers all have the same attitude. This Costco makes me want to rethink if there is anything I really need from it.
Great store. Very helpful employees. They check membership at the door before you can go inside. Parking usually requires a short wait.
Always enjoying our Costco experiences!
From daily salad to electronics and gas, costco fundamentally reprogrammed my daily routine, health, and finance, to my liking. Yes, inconvenience and adaptations and friending freezer may be required, but the benefits afterwards way outweigh the initial inconvenience.
Costco has great quality products at great prices. I came tonight at 7:45 and it was pretty empty. This Costcos staff seems nicer than the ones at my usual Costco, Sunnyvale. When things are on sale at Costco, you have to stock up!
Always a great selection!
From dog food to shirts to ready made meals to TVs to pots and pans it has anything you need and a lot of things you didn’t even knew you needed. Also has a car service center and gas station. Both with great prices
I love Costco. Spend most of my money. The ribs...are so deliciously seasoned you dont need sauce. They are great for left overs...and goes well with your favorite cool/cold drank!!! The quinoa salad...the perfect blend of goodness. Healthy and favorable does exist. Who knew!!! I love this Costco for many reasons and this weekend I found one more reason to keep going back.
Never crowded. Smaller than most Costco’s and easier to find items.
Kind weird at this Mountain View location and plus had to buy 3 eight packages of muffins, dont have room for all those. Barely dont have room for one package of eight, 4 of the muffins would have gone in my freezer as was in the first place.
It has virus I believe, not sure it is Coronavirus, but I felt sick after stay there more than 20 Min, and this is not my first time. The store is well managed, clean, but the doors are too small comparing with other Costco like the one on Coleman in San Jose. The air does not vent very well or fresh. My nose felt pinched by bad air. Hope it is not Covid. I went back home and start to clean my nose, hands and drink wine...and take Zinc
This Costco has a good selection and I love shopping here
People often make the experience. That is true each time I visit this Costco. Thank you.
Worst experience, wrong price, and the customer service is super unprofessional
When you buying bulk seems like you get a better deal everything you want from tires to tops they have everything you need from a to z.
Worst location! Parkinglot is like a job ...trying to find parking..and people will run you over if your not watching out! And what happened to the FOOD COURT?
Its a smaller Costco. There is no gas station but that also means its less busy than some others (that is relative as Costco is always busy). Staff are friendly. Layout is pretty straightforward. There arent many nooks and crannies (which I like as I am less likely to miss something I want). The customers are also usually more polite that at some other Costcos I have been to.
Who doesnt love costco
I am a Costco fan.. I just think they need a Gas Station at the Mt.View Ca. Site.
Costco has great products. The Kirkland brand is excellent. Costco has a good local wine selection at fair prices so you can try different wines. I love the fresh baby lettuce and variety pack of colorful tomatoes. We often add a Costco cheese, their olives, pickled beets, or other things and it makes a healthy lunch. They have many organic products so you dont have to worry about GMOs.
Pizza was cut very unevenly.
I cant believe costco is making us go to the warehouse to cash our reward checks!! We are in the middle of a pandemic, my god, what dont they understand? We need to stay home whenever possible and costco is making us go out to the warehouse? I NEED that money!! I cant wait months to cash this check. This is money I earned!!!!! I will be NOT be using the Citibank card from now on. The CEOs at Citibank and Costco earn millions, they dont need every penny I work so hard for. THIS is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Costco is a wholesale store where the more you purchase the more you save. Best quality products available at a reasonable price. Amazing return policy. I have purchased my diamonds as well from Costco. We fill our gas from Costco. It’s a one shop stop for us.
Good stuff here....typical Costco stuff
Costco in Mountain View is small compared to Redwood city I live in the middle of these two. My family and I prefer to go to Redwood city primarily because of customer service n more variety. We had a bad experience in mountain view with a cashier who treated us poorly. Management didnt help much either. But I go here if Im in the area and need something asap. But I try my best to avoid it.
Not the easiest parking lot but a total wine nearby makes it a good one stop place to stock up.
Good place if you buy in bulk
Costco is great but parking lot is horrible for traffic.
Went here to get my membership verified since it didnt work online when I tried. That didnt work.Called the phone number at 5:50pm and had the system send me around literally in circles, then by the time it connected me it was exactly 6:00pm, so realistically they should have been open despite stopping me in my tracks for 10 minutes, but in fact they closed 1m early. Come on.First off why isnt the verification working online or in person. Second off dont send me in circles on your call system.Typically is fine here otherwise. Nothing to write home about.
Its recommended for big family.
Cant ever complain about Costco. Best service, products and offers. Well worth the membership for shopping.
Hot dog and a drink...still a $1.50...good for a quick bite
U can never go wrong with costco and this particular one especially is perfect.
Costco is great. Excellent quality and good prices.
Good Costco. Usually stocked well, clean, organized and Friendly service.
I generally have no problem with Costco, and I assume Costco services and policies are pretty consistent across warehouses. However I was wrong. After speaking with Costco corporate, I learned that individual warehouses can set up their own return policies. This particular warehouse has a reasonable policy on non-perishables, but the way it was implemented left a bad taste in my mouth. Dont get me wrong, I have had plenty of good experiences here at this particular warehouse. All Id like to do is to point out what happened recently to bring visibility to frequent shoppers at this location because the responsibility will most likely be on you, not on Costco.I recently purchased a large pack of non-perishables and I never opened it. When I tried to return the unopened non-perishables, the customer service member said that Costco cant accept the return because its already expired. Sure. I agree I shouldnt return expired products, BUT I bought them in October of 2020, and I tried to return them at the beginning of December 2020, which is just a little over one month after.Im not disagreeing with this policy. Its completely logical to not accept foods, non-perishables, and produce that passed the expiration date. Sure! Its just a few dollars, who cares? However, two things in particular are worth calling out here.1). This particular warehouse NEVER mentioned anything like this in WRITING around the warehouse, so the customers can know about this policy prior to purchasing any food, perishable, and produce. No such policy is given on the CORPORATE website either. Wheres the transparency? Now, most people will say use some brain. Common sense dictates that you shouldnt return expired product. I agree. But this can apply to any policy the warehouse creates and on any product you buy. Its about COMMUNICATION and TRANSPARENCY.2). The second call out is pretty straightforward, but it boggles my mind: why would you sell non-perishables that expire in a month!? I would think common sense dictates most if not all perishables should last more than a month. Especially considering the things customers buy from Costcos are often in large quantities. To reiterate, I think its one thing to have your own policy, but please let customers know about it well before purchasing something from your store, not mentioning that you sell non-perishables in large quantities that only have short shelf lives of one month. Were all in this together. Just be honest and transparent about your rules. Please improve your customers purchasing and return experience. Thanks.
Not overly crowed and most people are Americans right hand drive inside the store.
Costco is cool. There is all sorts of things there. I love the variety of books they have on tables.
Lines were great, despite tons of people the day before Thanksgiving. Dont worry, you can only get COVID at work, church or a small business.
Quality products in store and no-hassle return policy.
Always have new tech for sale! Gets very busy.
They had everything I needed except for Draino. I especially like the self check out because there was no line to check out. They do a good job to protect their employees and all the shoppers.
Not crowded at 5pm on Friday.
Very good people work in mountain view CA costco.
Its a Costco, but smaller 😁
Its a Costco, you know it, I know it, why the hell are you reading reviews?
No one to wipe down shopping cart and no wipes available to do it yourself. Queue to pay was short and quick.
Always a good experience at Costco! They had everything stocked unlike 5 months ago. They are doing a great job of keeping the facility clean and the customers are staying 6ft away as well.
You have to unpack the goods yourself to let them scan. Other than that, everything is fine
