Im glad a place like this exists. Good service. Quick and easy. I can get my preferred brand of deodorant, toilet paper and treats for my dogs in 5-10 minutes.

I love the fact that this Dollar General has a lot more to choose from and has a lot of stock than the other Muncie stores!

I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED SHOPPING AT THE DOLLAR GENERAL.ITEMS IN PLACE. PLUS STORE ALWAYS CLEAN.SOME PRICES ARE BETTER THAN MOST.

This is my store always loved it, but since covid, I do all my shopping there. Every now and then they are out of something I really want or need, but its far and few between.

Working environment is terrible

I shop several of the Dollar General stores. 2 weekends ago I went shopping with my daughter and we found all kinds of summer and a few left-over winter pjs on a half price sale. I got a lot of very nice clothes for a great bargain. And they always have a great variety of items to choose from plus a dollar aisle with some great bargains too. There was 1 store on Mcgalliard that was our last stop close to closing time where the manager and sales clerk were very rude. The manager approached us as we were finishing looking and BUYING clothes telling us they closed in 15 mins or so. Which I thought was rude. Then when we checked out my daughter went first and went to the car to put her stuff in there and I was a bit flustered coz both of the employees were rushing us out and the lady checking me out when I spoke to her didnt even answer me and made a rude comment to me again about their closing time and something else I had said. As I went to leave the manager was standing at the door as I went to push the door open and told me it was locked as they had closed and let me out. My daughter checked the time as I went to the car it was 3 mins past closing time. So I am advising anyone unless you need to or just live close to go to a different Dollar General coz no one deserves to be treated rudely especially if you are TRYING to purchase quite a few items but get run out and have to deal with rude comments and such. I spent all my life working different customer service jobs with the public and you just dont treat customers like they did us. Really bad customer service and we will take our money elsewhere. But the other stores in the chain have all had great customer service nice employees and no problems. Just the Mcgalliard store in Muncie near the Muncie Mall.

Dollar General is a piece of trash. The manager is very rude and disrespectful and I had to put him in his place several times now. The store is clean, and stocked with a variety of items, all at very high price points. Personally I dont shop there unless I see something in their add on the app.

Since changing their brand to Harrahs this casino has not loosen their slots at all, and it seems they got fewer people going there now cause of that. Who wants to loose their hard earn money. I know it is a gamble but still, loosen up some of those slot machines and make it be worthwhile for people to win some of their money back. My wife will be going to Lawrenceburg Indiana next time, its a lot better there.

I go there so often for groceries. Theres always something to find. I love the employees. Even if theyve worked a super long shift they still greet everyone with a smile.

Very disappointed that after calling ahead and asking the manager if their Western Union was working properly, and being told yes it is working properly, I was blown away when I showed up and the cashier could not get the Western Union to work or help me at all. Smh. So I drove another 20 miles to Muncie and the great people at Myiers were more than happy to help me and it was all over in less than 5 minutes.

They have recently updated the store to look like all the others, now you can at least get down most of the isles. The staff are very nice, but I feel like over worked because they seem very frustrated most of the time. The lines are normally long and it takes a while to get through. I live close by so I shop here ALL THE TIME as it is more convenient, UNLESS Im in a huge hurry. The staff are very friendly and always greet me as I walk in, I do have trouble finding some things in here but maybe once I get used to the new set up it will be better. Gotta remember this is a DOLLAR GENERAL NOT A WALMART lol :)

Im not a big fan of this location. The store is always disorganized and cluttered from merchandise more than people. Always a sign for no cash back on the register. Its not warm or inviting and I always feel like Im about to get mugged.

It is very cramped down aisleways. The cashiers are friendly. Got some clutter hard to move around.

Dollar General on E. Jackson is very clean and employees are extremely helpful and friendly. Womens restroom is always close though.

This store has a big sign out front that says newly remodeled...opon my vist this is by far the most dirty store I have ever been in...there is trash all over out side lot I spoke to a manager about all the trash everywhere out side her response was i cant help it i will not be visiting this location again until i see it cleaned up

Its supposed to get youre what knots. They usually are pretty busy and you have to wait a long time in line with one cashier. Its too bad they dont sell rolling tobacco in tubes since theres nowhere else close by to get them. Its also too bad that must have stuff in there its not a dollar when you go to New York to the dollar store everything is a dollar here, do the math😘
