Woodsviking is a wonderful little barbershop with a number of different barbers of all assortments and styles. It truly has the barbershop community feel. I, personally, love David Pillow as my personal barber, though I have used a couple of the other fellows there. You need to book an appointment online through their web portal since walk-ins are hit-or-miss and dependent on any barbers that have an opening right at that moment.

Aaron Dabney blew my mind today, he asked questions through the whole process to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted to achieve! He tok the time and care to get it just right! He was very informative and knowledgeable about my beard and hair, absolutely top notch service! I couldn’t be happier! I finally found my barber, I will never go anywhere else! Thank you, Aaron!

Austin did an amazing job getting my hair cut the way I was wanting it and did a great job cleaning up my beard.I had scheduled my appointment online through the Woodsviking Barbershop website. The availability dates vary from barber to barber so you can go through them to find a date that suits you better. Some of the barbers have notes as well to assist you in knowing what they specialize in and to describe the services offered. On the day for the haircut, we put in the address and were brought to the front of the building where they are located. There is plenty of parking available directly in front of the building as well as nearby. When I walked in, I was asked if I had an appointment and those up front directed me to where I will be seated for my haircut. I was greeted by Austin, I told him I was looking for having short sides with a little more length on top for the hair, and to define the shape/edges of the beard. The atmosphere was really friendly. I was even given a few tips for some products that I might be interested in while we discussed how I wanted to get my hair cut or beard trimmed. Austin took great care with both my hair and beard. I have already got several compliments on the mustache as well. I can definitely recommend for others to come get a hair cut and beard trim at woodsviking barbershop.

My son received his best hair cut ever today! We walked in without an appt around 1:30. Almost no wait time but I do recommend making an appt if possible. Matt was my sons barber and he did an excellent job!! Everyone was happy, nice environment. Constantly cleaning up to keep it looking nice. I will definately take my son back!

My coworker, Joe Salvato knew I lived in Murfreesboro and was looking for a barbershop, his glowing endorsement of Woodsviking still left room for me to be impressed and satusfied with every aspect of their customer experience. I came in for a beard trim and a haircut, done by an apprentice who showed me capable service and one of my best trims and cuts in years. He never seemed unsure, and went about his business like a professional. The place might seem at first blush to be a guys only experience. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a very family friendly culture where women and children also got great haircuts and a warm welcpme from the big burly men in t shirts, tattoos, and their well kept beards. I will be attending again for all my haircuts in the future, and wholeheartedly recommend you do the same, whether visiting Murfreesboro, or a new arrival like me!

I have been coming her for a couple months. I always go with my son and we get our hair cuts together. Soloman has been cutting our hair and so far all the cuts have been great. The place has been super busy every time I have gone so its good to make an appointment. They have someone in there that can handle any style and I have even seen some females in there getting their hair cut. The place has a great atmosphere and gives you that real barber shop feeling. Im pretty sure they have a customer for life. If you have never got a straight razor shave you are really missing out. They can take care of that there for you.

I was coming to the boro to look at a safe and thought I would try to find a place to work on my mustache and beard. I FOUND IT! Josh took my call and appointment. I got there and felt right at home with the decor and music. Josh did a great job with trimming my stache and beard and we had great conversation about being a girl dad lol. This was my first time at Woodsviking. I was an early morning walking on a Saturday morning. My understanding is weak ins are hard to get as everyone is usually booked up with appointments. Tyrone, a helper at the shop, went to every barber to see if they could work me in. Solomon had a change with one of his appointments where his customer only wanted his hair cut and nothing done to his beard this day. Solomon took me as a walk in. Aweaome job cutting my hair just they way I wanted and did it in a very reasonable amount of time. I will be going back and by appointment from now on. Great place. Give these guys your business.

Had heard about this place and the review was raving! Couldnt wait to check it out. I got online and scheduled my appointment with Soloman. He texted me the day before about confirming what exactly I needed cause I made a mistake choosing the right options in my reservation. Was super cool about it and guided me in the right direction. When I got there, I immediately felt impressed with how busy it was and how everyone was being catered to. I saw happy customers and barbers who definitely enjoyed what they did. They have a wide variety of skilled guys who know what theyre doing. When I sat down with Soloman, I told him what I thought Id like, but gave him the reins to do his thing. I have a long beard and feisty cow licks to deal with, so not everyone knows how to best work with my head while giving me the style that I like. He did a quick once-over, then went over with me what he thought would work best, I approved and he went to work. Fantastic quality, great communication, thrilled with the result! Hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had. I just left and received a 5 star treatment from Carlos. The barbershop itself is an upscale modern men’s place but the barbers all seem to know what they are doing. After my barber moved and had been cutting my hair for 4 years, I was nervous about where to go. Saw the reviews and they speak the truth. Carlos actually cut my hair better than my old barber. This will definitely be my new place. 5 stars for this place!

My husband has been going to Daryl before Woodsviking came about. It has been wonderful watching this small business flourish over the years and watching them take it head on. My husband gets his haircut here every three weeks and schedules his haircut/beard trim easily online. Its always a quality cut and a great experience. The new reonnovations to the shop has definitely made it just that much better. To ensure you can get your cut, make sure to schedule your appointment ahead of time! Chris does a fantastic job with my 2 year old. He takes his time and you can tell he has a lot of patience. On top of that he does a great job! Ive taken my kid other places and I have not been any where close to as happy as I am with Chris. I recommend him to every boy mom I know.

I went to Woodsviking for the first time after my stylist of seventeen years retired and receiving multiple recommendations. The interior of the shop engages your senses with the decorations and activity. Aaron, who was my barber, not only provided a quality haircut and beard trim, but quality conversation as well. Going there was not just a visit to the barber, but an experience. Woodsviking and Aaron specifically, have a new client.

I can not say enough great things about this barbershop. Scheduling is so easy online and then the actually barbershop is just so cool looking. But the greatest thing is their staff. I have a wild and crazy 6 year old boy who always sees Chris. Lincoln had a bad experience when a woman cut his ear. I let Chris know that and he was extremely patient and so kind to my guy. Not only Chris but the entire staff is so amazing. The guys will all stop by while Linc is getting his hair cut and tell him how cool his hair looks and chat with him. The guys have no clue what just that little kindness has done. Linc is the only guy in our house and is with me all the time. So he does not have a lot interaction with grown males. These guys take time out of their day to make my little guy feel special. It may only be 15 minutes every two weeks but he is always so excited to come see the guys. They all definitely hold a really special place in this moms heart. Thank you all and we are absolutely lifelong customers.

Starting getting my hair cut here over 6 months ago. Absolutely the best shop in town. Awesome group of guys. Everyone does a great job, but I definitely recommend Daryl. He always does a great job and a very friendly guy.

Showed up 15 minutes late to a 35 minute appointment (due to an unexpected meeting) with plenty of time left to get a haircut. Instead of getting a cut, we were charged and turned away. The barber, Filipe, already had someone else in the chair DURING my appointment time. Charging a 16 year old $25 for nothing is a low rent way to make extra cash. My suggestion, find somewhere else with integrity to get a haircut.

We went here for my sons first haircut and had Carlos. He did an amazing job working with my squirmy toddler. The haircut came out perfect and he was so accommodating. They had cartoons on for him and made sure he was happy the whole time. He didnt shed a single tear. If Im paying $35 for a hair cut and shave (Buzz and electric razor) I shouldnt have to touch up my own face when I get home. Dude missed a lot of hair and didnt even get my face smooth. This may have been a fluke since it was my first time there and they have so many high star reviews, but itll be a while before I try them again.
