My experience with Johnson Audiology was excellent. Dr. Ali was great to work with and really took the time necessary to introduce the use of a hearing aid into my life. She is working to ensure I am getting the maximum value in my life with the aid in an effort to meet my goal of having a life that is back in surround sound. I highly recommend this team.

My mother lives with my sister in Texas half of the year and here with me the other half. She purchased hearing aids in Texas, lost one, and once we received the replacement in the mail, my mom needed help getting them in her ear properly (she is almost 91). I made a same day appointment with Johnson Audiology and Kelsey was very helpful and friendly. She cleaned and inspected my mothers hearing aids, put on a new tail that I had cut off in error, and made sure my mom was comfortable placing the hearing aids in her ear. So, even though I didnt purchase the hearing aids at Johnson Audiology, they took care of me very quickly...very much appreciated!

This was one of the best experiences Ive had with a medical professional. The exam was exceptionally thorough, the staff is welcoming and kind and my hearing aids fiting was so state of the art it almost felt futuristic. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I have pretty significant hearing loss and I wasn’t sure that I wanted hearing aids. But, the folks at Johnson Audiology took me through the process and showed me how I would benefit from hearing aids. Then they got hearing aids for me that really suit my lifestyle. Appointments scheduled to avoid crowding-- I was the only client in the building during my appointment.)So professional starting with my call for an appointment. The receptionist listened to the problems I was having with another provider, she answered my questions, was cautious that I might have out of pocket expenses, and scheduled my appointment less than a week away. I was in a particular hurry because I didnt want to lose my insurance benefit at the end of the year.Upon arrival, I called to let them know I had arrived. I was escorted from my car inside by Makayla. Her tone was supportive, patient, and encouraging. (I was excited to be there!)Dr. Ali Carmichael introduced herself in the lobby and escorted me to an exam room. She also listened to my concerns about my hearing loss, what led me to finally take action, and the problems I had with another provider. The test was more thorough than at my previous provider. When it was finished, Dr. Carmichael took time to explain my results in detail and assure me that I had no concerns that would require an ENT referral.Dr. C entered my information into the computer, contacted my insurance company, and was able to order my hearing aids the same day. (Not going to happen for everyone, but I had already been trying to get hearing aids from another provider for at least 2 months with no success.) She even pulled out a ring of sample hearing aids to allow me to pick the color I wanted. (SERIOUSLY?!)Bottom Line: Dont go anywhere else if you have concerns about your hearing. Dont take your loved ones anywhere else. These ladies are the best!!!

I called and made an appointment to get an updated audiogram and assistance with completing disability paperwork. I dont hear speech. When I arrived both staff members had cloth masks when I said I couldnt hear them, one of them put on a clear mask that was foggy and distorted AND a clear shield. I told her I couldnt see her lips well enough to understand her. She wrote down a few things for me but didnt remove her mask. I had her use some captioning software on my phone. I was SHOCKED they were not better prepared to communicate with lip readers at a business that works with people who are hearing impaired. After a brief exam and listening test, I was informed that they could NOT complete the disability paperwork because they were clinical and not medical doctors. They should have told me this when I made the appointment. She gave me a copy of my audiogram but no narrative or assessment and told me to go to my GP. I would give them zero stars if I could. Very bad experience from beginning to end.

My Tennessee family are patients at Johnson Audiology. I get my hearing tests and cleanings done and my wife and father got their hearing aids from them. The staff are fantastic! From start to finish they are extremely friendly, helpful, and answered all our questions. The level of professionalism is second to none.My wife and father also got tv streamers that pairs tv audio to the hearing aids. We were given a demo on how they work and it was very easy to set up. This is great because the volume on our tvs can now be turned down to a lower level.I highly recommend being their patient.

My visit to Johnson Audiology was to establish a base line for my hearing and to inquire about a custom set of earplugs. Dr. Goddeeris was very thorough, professional, and caring. She listened to my concerns and asked about why I wanted the custom earplugs. After explaining my reasons she stated that most high quality over the counter ear plugs would most likely accomplish what I was looking for. She showed me the proper way to use plugs (they go much farther into your ears than you would think). I went to a concert last night and confidently insert my 3Mclassic yellow ear plugs. The difference was amazing! At the end of the concert my ears did not ring, no headache, and I could hear perfectly fine! In my opinion my visit was worth every penny just to know how to properly use those ear plugs.

Dr Julia was very nice. She helped me understand everything and Im very pleased with my visit. Chris was excellent at the front desk.

Great people to work with. Dr. Johnson, Reagan and the whole staff have been great. They listen, they care and they do great work. It is hard sometimes to deal with getting older and the issues that come with that but they make it less stressful. I highly recommend either of their offices to you.

My brother purchased hearing aids from here. I do not normally write reviews but I had to write them one from how impressed I was when I went to an appointment with my brother. They greet you right away and ask if they can make you coffee with a ton of choices to pick from. The front desk is always smiling even when she is answering a phone call. When I went back with my brother, I met the Doctor and boy does she know her stuff! She even took the time to explain to myself about my brothers hearing loss. If i ever need my hearing checked or hearing aids this is the place I will go hands down! You guys rock!!

I have struggled with my hearing for years and I was extremely unsure about the process of purchasing hearing aids, which you know are not cheap. When I called to get information on how things would work Raegan could not have been sweeter. She explained everything to me and not once did she try to sell me, more of informing me and understanding the hesitation. Once i got there Dr. Julia was very patient with me and made me feel so comfortable. They let me try out some for about two weeks which I think is amazing that they give you an option to do that! I shopped around for a little bit after and the fact that this place works with every manufacturer is incredible because no other hearing offices do in this area. I went ahead and made the step to get them and I could not be happier with my decision, which I would not have be able to do with out these ladies. I love my hearing aid. I no longer have to turn around and say hugh, can you repeat that, when someone comes up and spoke behind me... My sister was surprised to find that I can here her now, she had always thought I was just joshing with her. My experience with the Murfreesboro location was such a pleasant one. Julie and Raegan were both professional, friendly and very helpful. I was able to try the Oticon Opn1 miniRITE demos for 2 weeks and I loved them! But I also wanted to try the Opn2 a step down but a lower price, to see if I could tell a difference. Julie let me also try those for two weeks as well. This was so very helpful for me to make an informative decision. I ended up going with the more expensive Opn1. Julie never pressured me in to getting the more expensive ones she just let me try both which helped me to make my decision. I would most definitely recommend the Murfreesboro location.

I came here in May 2017 knowing nothing about hearing aids and was recommended by my audiologist to purchase the Oticon OPN. I purchased the OPN 3 because I thought my environment was quiet in general. At night I could once again hear the crickets and other natural night sounds. However, speech was still not as clear as I wanted. On day 59 of my trial period, I made the decision to upgrade to OPN 1. With those,,speech much clearer. Julia was able to tweak out sounds that were bothersome. When the left one malfunctioned a month later it was immediately sent in for repair and I was given a demo on loan. I love the phone capability of speech coming directly through the aids. Finally I feel comfortable carrying on a phone conversation in many years. I am so pleased with the aids, with all the staff and with the patient service. I would refer anyone to come to Johnson Audiology and recommend the Oticon aids, especially if phone conversations have been a problem.

They are very professional and friendly. I look forward to my every 6 months check in.
