I live 35 miles from the store, but it’s worth the drive to have a quality minded craftsman do the work I need done. More often than naught, if what I need is a quick stitch or two in a pocket that’s come loose or a seam that’s come apart, he simply takes it in the back and 5 minutes later, it’s done and done right. When I’ve taken new rookie motorcycle riders in to buy chaps and jackets, the staff has always been patient and willing to spend time getting them fitted with what will work best for them. Great store, great staff, fair prices for quality work.

I went in looking for a pair of gloves and found exactly what I wanted. I was happy with the price and the quantity of the gloves. Customer service not so much the lady in the front seemed to be in a bad mood, she wasn’t really nice, when i was almost intimidated to ask any questions about a pair of boots I really liked, other than that this place is awesome thanks for the gloves!

I love this place. They are old-world craftsmen, keepers of a dying art, so to speak. They are knowledgeable, capable, on-time, and fair priced. Last time I was there I thought the price was too low for the amount of work they did, so I gave them a tip. I wholehearted recommend them.

Best leather place around!

I was looking for Chaps and possibly some boots. They have several styles in all of the leathers they have. They measured me and I got to try on different chaps. When I picked a pair they were long so they measured me with them on and cut my chaps to the right length the same day.I also found some boots, she was so helpful and patient. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Im so happy with my chaps and my boots.The service was fantastic and the price was formidable. Will be going back again and recommending to friends and family.

I have been looking for an excellent shoe repair for a long time. This one is great! The shoe repair person is friendly. Her work is exceptional and I trust her with my high priced shoes and purses.No problem with parking.

I frequent SLC area for business and I needed to have new soles of Frye boots. Courteous, quick, respectful, helpful and very good pricing. Even shined the boots. Im bringing back 2 more pair of boots for new soles.

I purchased a pair of consigned $835 Proenza Schouler booties online and then brought them to Midvalley to have the soles replaced. I could not be happier with the workmanship of the replacement sole. They look absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful work and quick turnaround. I’ll be bringing lots of my shoes here in the future.

Dave is a great guy and helps you get all your patches placed exactly where you want them. He is fast and very reasonably priced. I have taken my vest here for all its patches and Im always pleased by his turn around time and prices. Plus he has a great selection of patches and pins, head wear, TONS of leathers all kinds to choose from, boots and some clothing. Great store, great customer service. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I have never needed shoe repair before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had a pair of high heel booties that needed a new zipper. She was very helpful and gave me a very fair price! She also helped me find a way to fix some stains on my boots and it worked wonderfully! I will go there any time I need boot or leather repair!

I was extremely happy with the repair that they did on my hiking shoe eyelet. Very fair prices and the guy that I talked with was extremely friendly. Definitely recommend for those that dont want to spend a fortune on a new hiking shoe but just repair their old ones.

Always great service here. Ive had two pairs of mens dress shoes resoled here. They did great on both.I went in yesterday to have a patch seen to my leather vest and it only took them about 5 minutes to take care. The price was more than reasonable as well.

They are so accommodating, I come in with need and they address immediately. I had a pocket torn on my chaps and they sewed it while I waited. Love everyone that works here. The prices are quite reasonable.

Came here hoping to get the zipper fixed on one of my boots- the pull had come out of the teeth but otherwise in good shape so didnt want to give up on them. The lady who came out of the back stood behind the counter looking very annoyed at me, not making eye contact. Without even touching the boot, she immediately quoted me a full zipper replacement price which was about the cost of a new pair of shoes! I asked if the current zipper could be repaired. Finally, she lifted the boot to inspect and replied, Yeah, I guess so and quoted me slightly less. I thanked her and left. Hopefully this was just a bad day for this gal. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed and was hoping even if it didnt work out that I couldve left feeling ok about the experience to keep the place in mind for future referrals.

Brought in some sport riding boots that came from the manufacturer missing some sewing, it was in a really hard place to access, close to hard plastics and pivot points, but the owner was able to re-sew almost all of the missing thread, re seal the hole, and glued up some spots I didnt notice. Great work, good prices. Definitely recommend.

They repaired two rips in a leather jacket for me. The repairs are near invisible, and I felt like the price was very good. And when the jacket gets too worn out to repair, it looked like they had a great selection of new ones I could buy, but they didnt even suggest it as an alternative to the repair I was asking for.

My favorite leather jacket got a tear in it and I took it to these folks to repair it. They did exactly what I asked and were very reasonable in their pricing and it was ready when they said it would be. I will definitely go back for other leather needs in the future.

Used to really like these guys and recommended them all the time. But after trying to return a pair of gloves for $16, being harassed because I was never given a receipt when I purchased them, being told Im cheap and I must be hard up for cash if Im really hurting over $16 and then told Im lucky that I have an innocent face, then again its the innocent ones that get ya, I doubt Ill be going back anytime soon.The female cashier never gave me a receipt or even a bag when I made my purchase. Thats not the customers fault. Thats a talk you need to have with your employee.My last purchase here was over $200 for my vest and chaps but if Im going to get criticized for returning a pair of cheap gloves that I never even wore, then I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Leathers went up to size 5x and at least 52 chest. We didnt have a super easy time returning something we bought for Christmas, even though it had not been worn due to size problems; he gave us in-store credit, though, which works just perfect for us anyway.

The Best! If you want a fair and honest job done on your shoes or boots this is the place! Prices are very reasonable and the service is second to none. I only use Midvalley Shoe Repair and Leathers.

Took two pairs of my wifes leather boots and a pair of leather shoes in to be repaired, and was very impressed with the customer service, timeliness, and quality of work. Since then Ive been back to have them repair the zippers on my boots, have patches sewn on my leather jacket, and I bought a pair of chaps. An all around great experience. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

If you want to be treated like shi* then go ahead and use Midvalley Leather. When I doped off my shoes a couple of Saturdays ago the lady that help me was VERY COLD and UNFREINDLY, I tried to strike a conversation with here and she didnt want nothing to do with it. I kindly asked her if she had shoe laces and she snapped back and said we do not sell shoe laces you will have to go down the street. Now that was just the drop off. When I called and asked if my shoes were done the male that answered the phone was a jerk. First he asked me very rudely, when was they supposed to be done and replayed today. Then he asked me my name, then he asked me what do the shoes looked like, daaa, then finally he asked me what my repair # was??? Wouldn’t you think that would have been the first question in determining what shoe I had dropped off? After steaming all the way home i finally looked at the shoes and discovered they did even finish the job, go flipping figure. The attached picture tells that story
