I love the Zara fragrances, but the clothes have gone down hill. Probably because theres only one Zara for thousands of miles that all the good stuff is gone before you have the chance to see it. Its extremely understaffed and the poor worker looked like he hated his life. Lines were super long and it took forty minutes in line to return something.
Zara has a wide variety of choices in styles, colors, and for all age groups as well. Its expensive but worth it.
Overall the store is great. Most of the time I have had positive interactions with the employees. Last time because I didnt have a mask on the manager of the store was VERY rude to me. All she needed to do was kindly ask me to put one on but she was very rude. I will order online before I will go back to this store.
I feel like Zara isnt what it used to be. I swear their prices keep getting more and more expensive.
Well, I came and bought a pair of pants in my usual size. Went home tried them up and they didn’t fit. Came to the store to exchange the pants for a bigger size, I live 45 min away from this store, didn’t have my receipt .Manager came out to tell me they couldn’t exchange the pants unless I got the same style and color, they don’t carry an Xl, which is want I would need. So again I loved the pants they didn’t fit, is not my fault they dont carry them. Guess what, this store won’t exchange it for nothing else, or store credit . Horrible, I had other items I wanted to buy, put everything back. Won’t shop here ever again.
So frustrated with the management of this store. I picked out three items I needed to try on my daughter and went to stand in line for the fitting rooms. After standing there for five minutes one of the employees finally told me the fitting rooms were closed for the night, even though the store didn’t close for 25 more minutes. I asked to see the manager and he was super rude about it. I had three little items, would have been done in 5 minutes, and would have put everything I chose not to buy away where I found it but he could have cared less. This is just one more reason why I hate fast fashion and big box stores. They could care less about treating their customers with kindness.
It didnt have alot of options for styles like it normally does I walked around for like 10-15 minutes and wasnt even acknowledged by employees. It wasnt organized at all everything was thrown everywhere.
This place has great style and great clothes! The prices are good too. The service was amazing and the staff very helpful. We will be shopping here again in the future. If you havent checked it out yet you deserve to stop in. They have a great selection of mens and womens clothing. My teen boys love the clothes here.
I have never written a review in my life but customer service at the Murray location is horrible!! Who hired that manager? She was absolutely super rude and disrespectful to me! I tried to return a bodysuit that I purchased at that location a week before, it had the receipt and the original tag but apparently the tag on the actual bodysuit was GLUED ON! They sold me it, I told the manager that I bought it at that Zara and they should check the cameras but she refused to hear me out, she shut me off, embarrassed me in front of other customers, and refused to look into that SCAM bodysuit THEY sold me!!!!!!! Not only I was sold an unknown brand but also was disrespected like I was the one who did it!!! Unbelievable, Zara should fire such people that are rude and unprofessional…. I have always shopped at Zara but the way I was treated really made me not want to shop there anymore! Check your labels, they might sell you stuff with GLUED on labels!!!!
Beautiful pieces. I always walk out w a smile. I bought my son a new Sunday shirt and bought a baby girl gift. . .
Very nice store although hardly any staff on the floor. We did buy a jacket for homecoming
Unique items. Every time I come to store I always buy. Its a must to buy and own unique clothing. They make me feel like Im in another country buying. My favorite store. The team of employees know a lot, like how to convert my American size to the weird number sizes from another country. I cant wait for the fitting rooms to open so I can buy more items. This pandemic is the reason the fitting rooms are closed.
This store is ridiculous! They are only allowing so many people in a time. I stood in line to get in for over 30 mins and they were out of masks at the front. I got out of line to find one at another, I had to get back in line to wait AGAIN! I needed to exchange my clothes but let’s just say I returned everything. If you’re going to make people wait to get in to your store you better make sure you accommodate!
Nice shop. LIMITED shoe selection
The store in Fashion Place mall Salt Lake is seriously lacking in professionalism! Line out the door - with 2 cashiers working meanwhile the manager is walking around taking on her mic.
One star because I love Zara for their products but their Murray location is a joke and they really need to do something about it. I ordered something for pick up and drove an hour to the store to pick it up and they had a sign up that said they closed at 5 pm that day. Also went there again and they closed 30 minutes early again and the lady at the door was very rude. I’ve seen multiple reviews saying they close whenever and don’t stick to their store hours which is unacceptable? They’re making a lot of customers mad for not being consistent. Do something about it
We were there last weekend during Black Friday weekend. I can’t remember was his name but I think it was Alex, he was younger and was wearing an amazing outfit that reminded me of James Dean. He said he was from Jalisco, Mexico. Anyway, he took his time with my husband who was looking for a coat. He was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable! Thank you so much for taking the time helping us out. He provided outstanding customer service. He was abs amazing.
Jesus Christ hire more people your wait is ridiculous
Their return policy is horrendous, they never keep sizes in stock, the employees are usually rude and the store is filthy. Cute clothes if they ever kept them in stock.
Mall closes at 8pm..... I understand stores are closing at different times due to COVID....we wait in line for 10 minutes to get INTO the store.... employee comes out & tells us we can’t come in....it was 6:55. I feel like some retail stores have got to be hurting for business but they sure make it hard to shop at.....
The lines are always sooo longBig deterrent
I’m a big Zara fan. But the hours of this location are never consistent and I feel they never have sizing I need in stock when I go. The quality of the customer service is not great.
Zara in Fashion Place mall has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen . The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional! That store used to be my favorite, not anymore. Managers like Kaina cause is the reason why companies go out of business.
Dark modern sleek looks. Really cool stuff for not that crazy of a price but... whats up with the sizing?? Im not super fashion savvy, but I couldnt figure out what size pants to get. The staff were nice. But they had no idea how to help me. It would be a lot nicer if they had imperial measurements, or the staff knew how to help.
I shop here too often...but definitely have to agree with many of the other negative reviews. was waiting in line and they said they stop letting people in five minutes before close — thats totally fine... that time came and the whole line dispersed. a couple of people who just barely came when the line dispersed or who are waiting behind me came up to them at the door and said “oh i just have a return.” they let them in. i saw that and went back to see if i could quickly go in to return my items. “no sorry we can’t let anyone else in.” they werent even waiting in line or waiting behind me and they were let in??? make it make sense. i didn’t expect to be let in since it was five minutes until close; keep that same energy for everyone regardless.
I love Zara and I usually shop here. The employees are helpful and the clothes are cute. The manger however was not helpful in anyway and extremely rude. The whole process was awful and in the end I’m stuck with clothes I don’t want, never wore, and bought yesterday with the tags still on. I was instructed to call customer service to do a return and customer service ended up telling me that stores are not allowed to throw away receipts so they should have a copy— but they didn’t. which leads me to believe the manager doesn’t know what she’s doing, and doesn’t really care. I’ll never shop here again.Returns can be tricky depending on the situation (I guess? Never had this issue in any other store) but there’s no reason for a manager to treat anyone the way she treated me. Glad I don’t have to go there again.
They get two stars because the quality and uniqueness of the clothes are amazing, but their customer service is a nightmare. My product was mid delivered and it took over 30 minutes with a customer “service” rep just to get my tracking number. I was never sent an email to say my package was delivered, which they said it was. As soon as I got my info and checked with the delivery company I was able to see that it had never been delivered and that they had held the item.
Some of the worst customer service ever last night and tonight, and I have worked in retail... A lot. Two days in a row the store claimed to closed 1 hour before actual closing time. Rude employees at door said they were at max cap while flocks of people were exiting. I told the door guy my boyfriend was inside and asked if I could go in. He sarcastically replied, “That’s great, you can wait out here for him.”
Zaras motto seems to be: Alienating customers one at a time. Their customer service is just plain horrible! I didnt believe it, but it happened to me too! Just check the hundreds upon hundreds of Better Business Bureau complaints. Its not worth shopping at Zara. Just do yourself a favor and avoid Zara all together. They dont value their customers or stand behind the products they sell. I tried to return some clothes (in the allotted return window) that had shrunk so much (despite washing as directed and hanging to dry) that they were unwearable. I was told they couldnt be returned as they had their tags removed and were washed. I couldnt have known that they would shrink, and this is a product defect. Believe all the reviews, and just avoid Zara!
The staff was great the 5 times I visited this location. You cannot try on clothing in store for the moment. Also do not trust the hours of operation posted by Google. It is way off. Use zara.com for accurate open hours
Store hours are a joke! They close and open whenever they please! They don’t keep it consistent with what they have online! We drive an hour to come shop here! And I’m sure others drive even further! Be better! You’re embarrassing your brand
Came in for my moms birthday. She really wanted their high rise straight jeans. When we asked the manager as well the ladies at the cash registers for directions to the rack where they would be at, all they said was “I don’t know look and order online”. If they’ve got 20 iPads/iPods on their hips I’m sure they can easily look up where that style of pant is located in their mess of a store. If not maybe quit. Or maybe don’t tell customers “I don’t know where that is” because you clearly don’t work there if you don’t know where an item is or don’t want to look it up on your stores iPads/iPods. Overall customer service was lame and lazy.
Nice clothes, good price.
Love Zara, but they were “at capacity” and 30 mins from closing but decided they weren’t going to let anybody in the rest of the night. As if everybody would take 30 mins. However there weren’t hardly any people inside. Snappy and rude as she told everybody.
Great clothes but customer service is so bad. Past 4 times we have come they have 8 employees out on the floor working in twos with one register open across the 3 departments. See photos of employees standing around doing nothing but talking to each other and the line with one register open.
LOVE Zara, but this specific location is such a nightmare. I’m located in Provo and have driven up after work several times solely to make a single return, only to get there and find they’re closing early YET AGAIN and refuse to let me come in to make this stupid return. The employees make up excuses every time, but pretty sure they really just want to head home early. IF YOU WON’T LET PAYING CUSTOMERS IN DURING STORE HOURS MAYBE YOU SHOULDN’T BE IN BUSINESS.
Very clean, spacious store. Love the clothing & the employees.
Love zara
The employees at this Zara were incredible! I had to make a return that was a nightmare for them, and they took such good care of me. They were so kind and helpful. I’m very impressed with their customer service and level of care. Shop here!
Do not purchase from here. The sizing on the website is not accurate. Ordered a jumpsuit for my daughter and according to the sizing chart it should have fit perfectly. The jumpsuit arrived and we had to send it back.I processed the return online and waited for the email to arrive with the return postage. Since I did not receive the email I processed a second return and waited another day or two but no email arrived. I ended up calling them and they said I never even processed a return. Obviously they have problems with the return system since I processed it twice and made sure it went through.I ended up ordering a larger jumpsuit for my daughter but they shipped it to the store which is over an hour away rather than to my house. I asked them to change the shipping method and to get it to my house but they would not. Ended up having to cancel that order as well and it was a pain to do.I had to call the 800 number because the phone number for the store in Murray was always busy and could not get through.
BEWARE Zara closes whenever they want. They may have a store full of people but say they won’t let you in. I was told by employee their corporate offices call them daily to give them a time to close. Today no more customers in the store after 6:20 but they actually close at 7. I’m not sure I believe Spain calls everyday to tell them different times to let customers in. After driving 40 mins and needing to do a return they won’t let us in.
Terrible customer service. hire some new people who actually care about helping someone out. employees have an attitude and are just overall not helpful at all. not coming back and giving my service i will shop online from now on. not to mention clothes are all over the place and the store looks chaotic.
I have never been so disrespected in my whole life! The crew are very rude and not helpful at all. They have been closing the store about 40 minutes earlier then they should accordingly to google maps. I went there 3 times around 6:15pm and they were already closed. On Saturday Jan 16 I arrived there at 6:15 and the guy at the door told me I couldn’t go in cause they were already closed. I tried to explain my situation and a rude women yelled at me and didn’t let me return what I needed. If a store wants to close earlier then the normal I thing they should update to the customers. Who keeps this store going it’s us who keeps buying from them. They should treat us with respect.
It is one of my favorite shopping places, I love this store.
HORRIBLE customer service. I went in to return an item WITH A GIFT RECIEPT, was told by some dude at the register that i could only get the price that the item was currently selling at ($7.99 for a $35 item), i went to go find something. HE CRUMPLED UP MY RECIEPT AND THREW IT AWAY. when I came to check out he said he needed a manager, told the manager I DID NOT HAVE A RECIEPT! and so she told me i couldnt return. I said I did have a reciept, he went and picked it out of the garbage. The manager asked why he did that, he had no response. She continued to ask him why he told me I could only return for 7.99 if I had a reciept. He said he hadnt worked in 2 days. She said youve been here a year and the rules havent changed I had no words. I cant believe these people. The manager then gave me what the item was worth ($35 NOT $7.99) on store credit. there is seriously something wrong with these employees
I like going in to this store from time to time to shop for myself and my kid. There are some cute clothes in both sections and most of the time it’s a good experience and I leave happy. The staff is so kind and always help me when I ask for help. Everytime I go there I always leave with something. the staff knows me pretty well because I shop there a lot and they are so helpful and always help me find something. This is just from my experience though. I walked in the men’s section and never went back.
Open up your dressing rooms, its time.
Especially love their affordable and fashion-forward selection of kids clothes. Wish there was one closer to me in South Utah County
I came in randomly to see what they had and I walked out with a new pair of leather pants! I bought the wrong size the first time, but they did an even exchange without any issues! Ive gotten many compliments on the pants and feel confident in them! Definitely will be coming back 🤗
They always have a great selection with reasonable prices.
2 cashiers for men’s women and children. line almost out the door. Someone who looks like a manager came out, walked away to back of store
Medium to hide price clothing store
This place is an absolute joke when it comes to returns. There has never been a more difficult process and it’s enough to make me never come here again.
Great prices great store, very fashion forward
They already close a full hour earlier than the rest of the mall. I make sure to be there before 7pm just for them to say they have too much work to set up for new shipments coming in and they closed 15 min early! Grrrrrr!!! Its not easy to make time to go to the mall for an exchange. They care more about their new shipments than to help their current customers.
Awesome clothes amazing staff
Bad attention from workers
Because of the annual sale long wait to purchase. Price is the reason to wait.
I LOVE Zara, and have bought from them all around the world, but this is definitely the most frustrating location. Every single time I bought there, they overcharged me. Don’t trust the price tag. Check your receipt. I don’t know if they do that on purpose or not, but this is somewhat disrespectful.
I drove 30 mins to Zara yesterday to return one shirt. I arrived at the entrance of the store at 4:51. There were 3 VERY RUDE employees blocking the entrance that told me they won’t let anyone in within 10 minutes of closing. I told the employee I just had to do one return, which I had a receipt for, and I assume would be very quick. I explained that I had driven 30 minutes just to return this top. And nowhere does the website/store hours (that were posted right next to where this girl was standing) stare they close at 4:50. Both online and on the sign in front of the store say 5:00 pm. With her extremely snotty attitude, one of the employees told me I was welcome to come back tomorrow at 12, when they open. There was also another customer that arrived at the same time as I did, who also needed to do a return, and they had like not let her in either. My daughter likes the clothes at Zara, but I personally think most of them are ugly and will have no problem shopping elsewhere. This store needs to hire some employees with customer service skills.
First of all Zara has super stylish clothes, you will love everything you buy there. If you are looking for cute stuff, save yourself some time and go straight there. Secondly, this particular location has the NICEST and most competent employees. Every time I go there, no matter who I get, the employees are super helpful and simply fabulous. Thumbs up for Zara, Sandy, UT.
I havent bought anything from here, but the clothes seem cute.
Zara shut its doors on one of their most loyal customers because I dared to try and enter their building at 6:45 (it closes at 7 btw). They claimed that I don’t have the right to go in and look around because “no one is allowed in 15 minutes before the store closes” which is something they should probably include on the website or they should change their closing time to 6:45. It’s one thing if I had gone in and stayed past 7 but for all they knew I was grabbing one thing and leaving. I work in retail and this is something I would never do. Very rude. 0/10. Don’t know if I’ll come back anytime soon
Great clothes, but costumer service sucks. I’ve bought clothes in zara for so long that luckily I know my size and things always fit. I buy online just to not have to deal with the people that work at this location.
Good prices and childrens clothes
Don’t do online purchases, they told me to be delivery on December 8 and didn’t get the package, then I called them but they couldn’t give me a date to be delivery, after that they contact me and told me that the new date is December 17, guess what? Didn’t arrive, I called them and they told me that new date is December 19, but I have to travel so I’m not going to get the package and there is a possibility that the package get lost.Bad online service.
Cutest kids clothes anywhere!
Feels like an upscale H&M.
Although I love the clothes, unfortunately I found out that if you lose your paper receipt and you need to return something you are out of luck for any help— not even store credit—unless you want the same item in a different size or color. I am a mom who buys items for my kids and returns things that don’t fit or they don’t like. Now I’m stuck with a $200 suit because I lost a piece of paper. I’ve never experienced a store that won’t even give you store credit. The manager I spoke to, Alicia didn’t seem to mind that she lost a customer forever. I don’t know how a retail store can survive this day and age with that attitude and those policies.
My son likes to shop here and if he’s not looking for anything in particular he likes to look. We didn’t get a greet, hello, or any acknowledgement. No one asked if we were good or anything! I wish employees would have better customer service. At least make the customer feel welcomed. It’s our money that we are spending.
Unhelpful staff. Couldn’t care less when you ask them questions. Changing rooms still closed for no reason. This store sucks
Terrible customer service. Even after speaking with the manager, they refused to extend their 30 day return policy even with being closed from COVID-19. In addition, I was overcharged for the item I was returning (I was charged double from what the price tag read) and that was completely disregarded. Don’t shop here unless you want poor quality clothes and no regard for customer service.
Its alright just being honest.
Zara’s customer service is literally awful! My Black Friday package got lost in the mail and they would not resend me my package. Told me I’d have to rebuy all the items at the normal price and not the Black Friday price. They then told me I wouldn’t get my refund until they received the package back at their warehouse. So now I’m out my package and most likely $200!!! They don’t answer any questions just say “I understand your frustration.” Most worthless way of doing business is screwing over the people that keep you in business!!!!!!
We love Zara
If I’m spending $200 at the store it seems like common courtesy to have a place to just set some stuff down I’m for sure going to buy, so I don’t have to haul it around the store. One of your employees - Emily who worked the cash registers around 5:30 pm today - rudely barked at me that she can’t hold some items for me (which I was for sure going to buy) for like two seconds while I go try on more. I honestly would have bought twice the amount if the store didn’t have this ridiculous policy, and if it wasn’t for an employee who acted like they will get the death penalty if they break the policy. I understand that working in retail sucks and customers can be obnoxious, but I feel like this was a basic customer service request. It would be beneficial to have more customer friendly policies in the store, and giving a refresher to Emily on being courteous to customers would probably help.
Long lines, you wait to get into the store. Then the checkout line is even longer. Need more cashiers.
Yeah, its true, service is poor and practically non-existent at this location. I love the style of clothes though and 80% of my wardrobe is from Zara. We live in between Denver and Salt Lake City, and once in a couple of months I purposefully drive 4 h simply to shop in Zara. Im a European and I really miss European-style clothes and I was excited to learn another day that Zara is going to open at the fashion place. Im a person that leaves there from $200-$500 every time I go there and I have never had a good service there. I dont care that much about people to be nice to me, but honestly there are moments when you try something on and have no clothes on and youd want a different size or color to be brought to you, or because i buy a bunch at once i want someone to take part of my clothes that i already know im going to buy and take it to the register and other things like this. Let alone when I look for something very specific and want someone to help me to find it and have to chase down a worker. Very sad. By the way, I literally just learned that there is a location in Denver as well. Im going to try it next time. For some reason, the lady that worked in this ZARA the day i was there for the first time told me that the other closest location is in Las Vegas only so I didnt even manage to double check and google it. My bad.
Good style, good value.
After being told by a store employee that there were no deadlines on the return policy my wife bought some items online. It took almost a month for them to arrive and the items didn’t work out so she went in to return them. She was told by the exact same employee that the items could not be returned since they were beyond the 30 day return policy and that store credit was the only option. Mostly disappointed in the way the manager chose to handle it - in that she didn’t even apologize or empathize with my wife. Not a good way to treat your customers, especially with this being a newer store.
Alicia seems to be manager but very very rude, racist towards me compared to others, undeserving to be working in customer service focused job. Seemed like she had ego, and even didn’t answer my questions and ignored and walked away.Contrary to her the girl who processed my order was nice and talked politely. The store seemed out of some size and price inconsistent.
🚨🚨🚨If I could give my experience here a 0 I would.🚨🚨 Please be very cautious when shopping at this store. Twice on 2 separate occasions they have put things on a sale rack saying one price and I mean a entire rack of the same thing. Then when you have spent time trying on things and go to pay. You are then told the real price and the excuse that things are in the wrong place. I could see a few items getting misplaced to the wrong racks. But to have an entire rack of the same items displaying a sale I expect to get it for the price listed. Instead the manager lady tells me the price is what rings up and either take it or leave it. So we bought nothing and will never shop at this store again in life. They wont be around for long. Instead Ill spend my money to H&M or Express. Walked out of there and went to H&M and bought my son entire outfit for prom . They had great service and enough employees working the registers so we werent in line for 30 mins. I will NEVER step foot inside this store again.
Massive store with a large selection but mostly bland stuff with not too much unique stlyes. No shopping mood music ever seems to be on inside either. Prices seems to be a bit high as well but then again they have to pay their rent for like 4 spaces at fashion place
The best thing about having this store in Utah is that if I find something sold out online Zara, Ill come straight to the store and find exactly what I need since theres not that many people here who are familiar with the store and the clothes are usually not sold out. Also the population is less so it s not as demanding as it is in California or elsewhere. Ive always had great interactions with the staff. Never met the manager though, haha.
Nice place and I like the clothes. Was a little pricey this time and found better things at H&M I felt.
Nice clothing. A bit on the small size though.
I went in for a suit, had some unusual size needs and got personal attention from a staff member. The guy helped me choose everything I needed. Great experience.
People works at the store don’t dress up for the store, I travel allover and I have chance to visit other locations, good looking people in suits and that make the store more attractive, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, etc,,,,,Salt Lake City people who works there look very out of style
DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD HEREFor Mother’s Day I wanted to give my mom a $200 gift card. First, the store was out of gift cards and I was told to buy one online. So I did. My mom was very excited and planned a girl’s day to use it. After carefully selecting items for herself, she went to check out. They scanned the gift card, told her the system was down & couldn’t read online gift cards and we should have bought one in store. Then they told us to come back. I have been there 3 different times now and they tell me today the gift card shows a 0 balance. So they charged me $200 for the online gift card that doesn’t even work in the store, then their broken system zerod out the gift card, and my mom still has no merchandise. They basically stole $200 from me & ruined Mother’s Day. Their corporate office is investigating this.. but we all know how long that can take.
We love Zara! Cute kids clothes and great prices make it a win-win when shopping with my daughter (9 y/o).
Your store is understaffed. You’ve got 5 people folding clothes and walking around and one person checking people out. We stood in line for 25 minutes!!!!! The store is also hot as hell. Not sure if they even turn the ac on. Get it together. You’re brand new here. Or get better management.
The customer service is terrible. I had a pair for jeans for a couple weeks and they ripped a little bit right of the front pants buckle thing and they told me i could trade them in so i went in and the said the big white tag on the inside was missing but when i bought the pants the white tag was never there so they wouldn’t trade my pants the fabric is cheap and the store is expensive
Love their style
Store is so understaffed I always have to wait long lines to get checked out, mangers haves pulled away employees from helping me to go fold clothes instead of helping me find my size. Half the time I go in there the store is “offline” so I can only pay in cash, employees are great, can’t say the same for managers 😬. The store is going downhill because nobody knows how to properly run the place. And that’s a fact!
I spent 15 minutes in lane to check out, i had 2 customers in front of me.Came back today to buy a pant i liked yesterday and the lane was hhhhuuuuugggggeeee so i gave up and left without buying anything. The store needs to improves the check out process.
Very good collection
The staff was so nice! They helped me find a dress that was not in stock online!
Wow!!! Manager didn’t have nose covered and they refused to ask idiot customer without mast to put it in. I wanted a $20 gift card and manager was so RUDE to me... minimum is $25... do you want it not!!!So sad Zara. So sad!!!!!
