This is THE Best pawn shop in the Valley, if not the western United States. I’ve been to the “famous” pawn shops in Vegas. Big Dog is superior. Trents customer service is exceptional! You will not be disappointed!!

They were great! I needed a little extra money at the time. So I gathered up a few items that I no longer needed. Some tools that had been sitting around for a long time. And a couple watches that I hardly ever wore. And I told them I wanted to sale the tools and pawn the watches.they worked out a great deal. And they took extra caution in handling the merchandise and they made sure they went the extra mile to give me what I thought was fair for my items. The customer service was great! They made me feel at home. And you don’t get that at a lot of pawn shops. So I give them 5 STARS.

Great pawn shops they always give me good deals on purchases. And even know me by name at both stores. Huge difference from the big corporate pawn shops that no longer give more than a few dollars off marked price and most dont give any deals anymore. Locally owned is pawnshops are the true gems of the pawns shops in my area and big dog is some of the best

My experience with big dog pawn for the most part has been pleasant. I liked the way the gentleman at the state street location was so helpful when it came to finding my husband and I matching rings. However the service I did receive from the redwood location wasnt that great. I was pretty offended by the way the guy who was helping us wasnt even giving any of our items any attention just because it was almost closing time. Thats why I am not giving it a 5 star rating

I’ve been coming here for years! At least 10 probably closer to 12. The owner is such a great person. They’ve helped me out when I’m strapped for cash, and also gave me amazing deals on items I’ve purchased. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. No pressure to buy or sell. I highly recommend them. They are family owned I believe and they treat you as such. They offer lower interest rates for military, and dependents. If you are looking into a reputable pawn shop, BIG DOG PAWN is the ONLY one to go to.

Not only did they help me understand that I had been scammed with those fake rings that people give you in exchange for money or to fill up the vans because they don’t have any gas apparently, but it’s all a lie, on my birthday they gave me a special treat. I am grateful that I decided to do business with these people they are phenomenal and they are very kind. All of them are.There’s no other place that’s treating me so good honestly.

It was late. (after 7:00pm) I was 20 miles from home, out of gas, and had just spent my last $40 dollars for a used tire to replace the flat I received about an hour before I found myself at the doors to Big Dog pawn. The only thing of value I had with me was my Dewalt air compressor. I learned that my compressor actually had been damaged at some point. The aluminum pump housing had been cracked. It would have been a poor business decision for Big Dog pawn to loan any money on this item because it would not be sellable to another customer if I lost it by failing to pay the loan, but fortunately for me, they took a chance and loaned me the small amount I needed for gas to get me home. I was asked to give my word that I would return for my broken compressor so that it would not end up as a loss to the company. I promised to return the next day to satisfy the loan, and kept my promise. Thanks to the kindness and compassion for my situation shown by Big Dog pawn I was able to make it home that evening. They did not have to help me at all, but they did. I am very grateful. The only pawn shop open later than six pm, and staffed with awesome personnel. Loyal Customer for life

They are very hands on and there for you if you need but they don’t Hoover and make you uncomfortable which is awsome plus there prices and inventory are incredibly better than any pawn shop I’ve seen.

This location is by far the better of the two. The staff are friendlier and more honest. I have bought two guns from this location and will continue to shop here when they get interesting stuff in. I will not go back to the other location in West Jordan, due to some dishonesty I encountered.

They gave me a certain amount just the other day on silver. now the lady manager who ripped me off before. got me again. I would give em 5 stars if it wasnt for her. she really reams ya when ur down and out. seeing how they are the only ones open late. I suggest plan any pawning early or go in and talk with anyone but her. not to mention she has a chip on her shoulder the size of the hope diamond.which she thinks she owns anyway.
