Excellent customer service at this location. As an anecdote, I ordered a simple wooden plant stand for one of my plants for pickup. Upon arrival, I was greeted very promptly by a friendly associate holding the stand with some information, stating that they searched high and low for one without any damage but could not locate one, and because of this they would be providing me this product for free — mind you, this was very minor cosmetic damage, and absolutely nothing that sacrificed the integrity of the stand. The employee that day did something very simple for me unprompted that was very memorable, and I have a lot of respect for this location to be so proactive with potential issues no matter how small they may be.

The worst customer service. Was in the parking lot trying to put a piece a wood in my car and was struggling a Home Depot Cart person came by 4 times and never asked if I needed help. Had to call my son from our home to help me. When I was inside looking at wood I walked by 5 employees chatting, they asked if I needed something and then pointed to where i could grab it myself. When I returned to get wood the older gentlemen with white crazy hair and mustache looked me and I said I’m back and he said your like a bad penny. Really !!! Then another employee Daniel helped me. He was very helpful. I drove out of my way to go to Home Depot. Which will never happen again. As I’m sitting here waiting for my son finally a different employee asked if I needed help.

This must be a BAD area, bad attitudes, bad vibes, inconsiderate employees ( slamming & pushing metal carts that triggered 110db alarm off my iwatch, nasty if looks can kill eye darts from employees, and I was well dressed. I’m gonna avoid this place at all cost.

Over the last month we have had to test out a number of deck stain colors. The staff at the paint department was so helpful. Sometimes,, they were out of the small sample cans on the display, but the staff looked in the back for us in order to get what we needed. It would have been easy for them to tell us to visit the HD up or down the freeway ten minutes away, but they took the time to help us right then and there.

When shopping for home improvement or repair items, I always choose Home Depot! Its so convenient to look at the item online and verify that it is what I need and then it tells me which 8ft section or bay that I will find it at. No wondering around the store looking for an associate. No questioning if this would be a garden, hardware, plumbing or perhaps seasonal item.

Normally our trips to home Depot are rather pleasant, but recently my father who is Hispanic went into the cabinet making section and was trying to ask for help from a white gentleman who was working there. The first day he went in the man was extremely rude to him and told him he was too busy to even offer him help of any kind and told him come back tomorrow. The second day we go in Im with him I go off to grab my cleaning supplies while my dad goes to talk to the cabinet section and once again the employee was extremely rude to him and what bothered me the most is when I finally went up to see what was going on the way he was talking to my dad compared to the way he was talking to me screamed of discrimination and it was really terrible seeing someone being so blatantly disrespectful and rude to my father who is Hispanic and completely changed their tone and be respectful to me who has a lighter complexion. We have never experienced that type of behavior with anyone else there but sadly that one employee has made us rather drive to Lowes or the home Depot in Temecula.

Wanted to purchase a new motor for a whole house fan.Went to service desk, they said they would send someone to assist. Went back twice before they arrivedThe fan had been purchased 10-15 years ago. It is still in stock. The staffer said it was not available atad44r store or online.Had to buy whole new unit at $ 250+. Thot it was steep. Got back to office, checked internet prices were comparable.Overall1. Plus price was ok, as amz and ebay were $25-60 for shipping.2. Minus wait for help3. Minus staffer knew little, but had a phone and knew how to use it.Result have new motor and unused whole house fan assembly

As a general rule I purchase most, if not all of my construction material from Home DepotFriendly people good service, could have a wider selection of tools and other material, but of course all things can be ordered on-lineThe only bad thing I can say is that they should keep gender identification to what it should be (man=male & woman=female)It is how GOD created male&female not any other way. Terrible customer service. I needed help with finding a certain light bulb. Found someone taking down ceiling fan and was told he could not help me but he would call someone, I waited for 10 minutes and no one showed up. Went to Lowes and got immediate help.

The other day I came in to buy a specific color in spray paint but my local Home Depot was completely sold out. A representative in the paint department as well as another customer service representative called multiple Home Depots to check their availability on this item. The only store that had the quantity I needed was in Beaumont, an hour away. Needing the paint that day for a job, I had no choice but to make the drive. I called that location to ask if they could put the items on hold or if I could pay for them over the phone and was told no, I would just have to come in and buy whatever was still available. I called my local Murrieta Home Depot back to check to see if they possibly would have a shipment coming in that night with that item. Taylor answered the phone, checked, and informed me they wouldnt have a shipment until the following Wednesday. I explained the whole situation to her and that I was having a hell of a time trying to find the paint locally. When I told her the Beaumont location would not hold the item for me she went out of her way by calling them and ensuring they placed the items on hold so I didnt waste my time driving an hour away to find out they only had a few. It seems like no matter what industry it is, customer service sucks now. No one is willing to work hard or go out of their way. Taylor was an exception to this. She listened carefully to my situation, sympathized with me, and went above and beyond to help me. Thank you Taylor for being so awesome!

I went to buy some mulch that was on sale and when I went to look at it the nicest man came up to me and told me how to purchase and to just bring him the receipt and he will help from there. Hussain was so nice, he loaded everything and made sure it was all secure and asked if there was anything else he could do. I will continue to go to this home depot due to Hussains generosity and kindness. Thank you

We ordered a refrigerator for delivery and setup. Almost immediately the appliance started making an incessant beeping noise. We were patient on the 9 day delivery time. However, we expected that the brand new fridge would actually work properly. I asked my wife to call the store and request an exchange or timely service to remedy the issue. The associate did not make any effort to resolve the issue. When she contacted LG directly they responded that they could not send anyone until Monday. Meanwhile the $1800 paperweight sits in my kitchen. We had to unplug it to avoid the constant beeping. The doors appear to not be sealing properly, perhaps leading to the beeping. The lack of any urgency of the merchant to provide even minimal customer service is unacceptable.

Usually I am in and out of this place very quick and dont need to talk too many associates. This week I went in very close to closing time looking for a specific combo deal they were having a sale on. I very quickly located the batteries that were part of the deal but could not find the additional tool. I figured the trip was over with it being that close to closing time on a Sunday night. I figured they would say oh well try again another day. But not the associate who helped me. His name was Zachary. He went above and beyond to locate the tool I was looking for as well as guide me to Stevie T who was also very helpful with some other questions I had. I appreciate both those guys hard work. I usually go to local Home Depot at Perris (CA) many times a week and never experienced anything bad.I might change my habit and not going any more to Home Depot and check other store (Lows, Harbor Freight or other online store).

Love this Home Depot! They really helped me out when they didn’t need to. I ordered a product over the phone through corporate & my only option was ship to store. This item is over 300lbs so I was stressing about how I would get this item off my truck. Then I got an email about it being damaged & it said to come check out the damages. See if I wanted it or not. I would either get full refund or get it discounted. I went & saw the damages. It was just the box that was damaged with a small opening at the bottom of the safe that had drag marks from being loaded. Not a big deal in my book. So after accepting the item I told them my concern about unloading it & asked if there was any way I can get it delivered to my house. There were 4 people working on switching things around to make it work. They got it. It gets delivered tomorrow & I’m beyond thankful & stress free. Thank you An, Kristi, & everyone else that helped make that possible for me.

We got our tree there, staff was friendly but they don’t drill holes in the bottom of the trees for you. Slim selection this year for trees. Good deals tho! We paid $50 for a 6-7 ft Douglas fur, reasonable price. You can also find holiday decor. It’s a bit more expensive then wal mart, but it nice getting new additions for your holiday experience.

Went to buy new washer and dryer. Very helpful staff made sure we got any discount we could. Walked us through delivery and installation. I was surprised they offer free delivery on anything over $400 I thought only Lowes did free delivery. The installation is $110 but that included dryer vent, washer hoses, gas line and attaching the pedestals for the front loaders.

This is an okay place to shop as long as you dont require any human interaction. Anytime I ask someone a question they are 100% NO help. I came in here to buy a fence one day but some of the parts were online... This was a $2,000 purchase and they would not help me. They told me that I had to order everything online... of course I cant get my military discount that way so I walked out and went to Lowes.Another time I came in and asked for help building PVC and wiring kits for outdoor electric. I went three times to ask assistance since no one answered the overhead calls. They dialed a number in store and a guy answered who was 10 ft away talking to two other people. After making me stand and wait for 10 minutes while he chatted it up the guy working there told me that he didnt know where anything electric was. Well why are you the one with the phone for that department?I happened to get assistance from some random customer... But then had an emergency period my wife could not pick up my daughter from cheer practice so I had to rush out. I pushed my cart full of $400 worth of electrical to customer service. I asked if they could watch it for 30 minutes and they actually told me no! She said that I could ask the cashiers in the checkout area... I went there and they told me no as well! After a few eye rolls, I yelled at all the people working over there and left the cart and walked out. Lowes it is again.Ive got more stories like this. I dont know if this is just the region I happen to move in or if this is a store culture thing - but people here are rude and are not concerned with making the store any money.

We ordered a sliding glass door in July they were to Install August 8th. . Unfortunately we are still waiting they said the door had been damaged. I. Have Went into the store 3 times and each time it is a 45 minute to over an hour to just talk to the associate. They seem to only have 1 person in that area. We have tried to contact them to get a firm appointment and still today do not know when.UPDATEWe have Finally had a new sliding door put in & we are so happy to finally have a nice door.

On January 11, 2021, I placed an order to purchase and install a hot water heater with the Home Depot. They sent ARS, Rescue Rooter, RighTime, whatever name they decide to call themselves, to install it. The price of the water heater was $800, install was $1500. Way too much for a 3hr job. They told me they would be at my house at 8:00am, but didn’t show up until 1:30pm. They were finished at 4:30pm. Two days later I noticed a water leak in my house and called a reputable plumber. When he arrived I told him that I had a water leak and the water heater was just replaced. He informed me that I needed to call Home Depot because it was installed incorrectly; using galvanized steel pipes between the water heater and expansion tank causes corrosion and shortens the life of the water heater. I then made a complaint to Home Depot and they said I needed to contact the install company, ARS.During a phone conversation with the ARS General Manager. I told them that I wanted a refund or they could come back and remove the water heater. They said that they dont do removals or refunds and that I would have to contact Home Depot. They did say that they would come out and fix their mistakes on the incorrect install and that the galvanized steel pipes should not have been used. He admitted that this was wrong and should not have been done. He also informed me that the installer failed to mount the expansion tank to the wall, which is required according to California Builders code. ARS sent out a different installer, who was 30 minutes late and took 1.5 hrs to fix the mistake.Home Depot says the install is backed by their customer satisfaction guarantee.Remember both your unit and the installed labor are backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If you have any issues within the first year.If The Home Depot had higher standards, they would not be doing business with ARS/Rescue Rooter/RighTime. This company has a lot of poor reviews and should not be affiliated with The Home Depot. Make things better, put your customers first, stop affiliating with poor performing companies like ARS/Rescue Rooter/RighTime.

They dont carry most of the things I found on their website. They just have the basics, and lots of poor quality items. Tons of unsustainable and even toxic products as well. The only exception is in their glass tiles and stone counter tops... There are some nice selections there. And their staff is nice and pretty helpful, too.

I like home depot, they have so much stuff for you to mess up your project that you have to go back at least three times. The employees though are awesome.No seriously they have a very good assortment of items. kinda like target, go in for one thing and leave two hours later, and at least 100 bucks lighter.All in good fun, they are cheaper than the blue store.

The employees of this store has no training whatsoever in dealing with disables despite what been said. This is my second time that I seek assistance from any employee to pull large item for me. I spent over 50min looking for items I needed for my son to do some work at my property and over 42 min waiting for someone to pull the item for me. I was on the wheelchair and called one that told me I’ll send someone and that kept repeating 6 times with 6 deferent employees. Finally I asked for a manager and someone came claimed to be one and assigned one to do that. That person states that he will go and pull a larger cart and he went and never came back.Finally I headed to the front leaving my cart and exciting the store and finding that person loading a car for another person. Please educate your employees to deal with peoples like us.

The front end is a complete carnie convention. If you go into the Perris store or the Temecula store you will see that they have a cashier who is directing traffic. Not at this store. I have seen customers cussing other customers out, people arguing, people throwing their hands up, its a s-show. Im in here 5 to 6 days a week and it is always an adventure. Poorly ran.

I am very disappointed in the rent center/ repair center. We took in our lawnmower that we purchased in May and the Girl whom was working tried to say that we had been putting dirty gas in it and the warranty didnt cover that. I looked into the gas compartment and it was clear! She tried to say the carburetor was dirty and it would cost 77$ to repair it. So the carburetor is bad but warranty doesnt cover. I found it very hard to understand her logic on it. Very disappointed in the customer service 😒
