Ive had two great experiences with purchases from this store. The first time I needed a mattress for a guest room. Regan offered excellent service and didnt push to sell a more expensive mattress. He listened and recommended what I needed. Recently, I went back to buy a mattress for myself. Regan was busy with another customer, but Bill was very helpful until Regan was available. They work together and dont fight over customers like some sales teams do. Nor do they double their prices and run constant sales. The beds are extremely comfortable and high quality, with many options to choose from. They offer spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, app-enabled Bluetooth adjustable bases, and a 15-year warranty that compete with all other stores but at MUCH better prices. (I paid about 2/3 of what the other stores quoted.) Unfortunately, they dont do much advertising, so they stay under the radar. This is a good, honest, local (made in West Michigan) company with an excellent product. If you want to understand what youre buying and trust the people you buy from, I highly recommend Jonathan Stevens.

The salesman at the Muskegon store were very helpful. We initially purchased the Manchester mattress and although comfortable we didnt like the inner spring because it was jiggly. So we used there exchange policy and went with the Crescendo memory foam mattress. It although is very firm (#7 firmness) seams to be breaking in, but its only been a week.I decided to order a 3 memory topper from Amazon to hopefully help since I have a bad shoulder and sleep on my side. The Harmony mattress might have been a better choice at a #5 firmness rating.we also bought a power base and had a part broken. Matt from there service was very helpful and took care of the replacement parts.All in all customer service was good.Our decision to go with Johnathan Stevens was there made here in Grand Rapids.

Walked in to see if they had twin mattresses and bunk bed boards in stock and they had both (only store in town you can get them the same day) and they also had them for about half the price of anywhere else and super friendly service!! Check them out

I stopped in real quick to find an affordable twin matress for a bunk bed we just bought. The sales guys were great. They got me exactly what we were looking for. The kicker is now Id rather sleep on this Jonathan Stevens twin than my queen we payed way more for. I will only buy from Jonathan Stevens the next time I need a mattress. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Absolutely love my new bed so far and being a single parent and having no help the delivery was amazing and helped me beyond thank yous ❤️ they moved the old bed to the other room and set my new one up for me,I cant describe how thankful I am to jonathan stevens and there know how describing every detail of my hand made in america bedroom🙏

The service was quick and they were very nice! I got a very comfortable mattress and boxspring. Was a little more than I thought it was gonna be, but the mattress will last a long time and has a 10 year warranty.

Our first mattress we had gotten years ago was wonderful and great experience. This time around looking for our daughter. Had purchased NEW mattress to be put on hold till my husband could pick up 3 days later. He went to pick up and the salesman said I purchase the floor model as he discussed with me which was untrue and did not happen. Who purchases a floor model that had been on the floor for over 4 months for full price. Very displeased. Called main office since I refuse to deal with the salesman received 20% off . Careful at Muskegon store.Update general manager called me to here my story and resolved my concerns as far as the mattress. He was very nice and I thank him for his help. So I will upgrade them to a 3 star from a 1.

I was looking for a new bed setup and stopped at 3 different corporate chains before Jonathan Stevens and that will be my last stop. I talked to Peter who was very knowledgeable about the inventory and I was very impressed by their reasonable and up-front pricing. He also took the time to explain all my financing options. Head and shoulders better customer service than any other place I shopped at.

Good matresses and mattress sellers

I went looking for certain items for our bed and found similar things but not what I exactly wanted. There are really nice things in here for beds and accessories. They just need to get the simpler items, but other than that a nice store with a nice staff. Good quality things at all kinds of prices.

I am purchasing my third mattress set so this speaks volumes. The firstf set was for my daughter and her husband. They allowed me to put the account under her name so she could make payments if she wanted. The second set was for my youngest and it is very comfortable and she loves it. The third is mine even though it will only be a queen as the other two. I WILL be coming back for a King size in the future. Very warm hearted staff. Blessed to be a customer 🤗

They didnt take credit card and I can only get a 30 day bus pass on the last week of the month it could be a lot more customer-friendly as far as payment method in time of purchase the man operating the counter was very nice had nothing to do with him just trying to give insight to provide better service to the customer without a vehicle

The staff here treated me incredibly. While searching for a latex mattress, I probably hit up every furniture/mattress store in Muskegon (there is a surprisingly large list of said stores within the Muskegon area.) This was the only place that didnt try to pressure me to buy something right away with the common this week only sale deals that are seemingly going on all the time at every other store. The guy was very knowledgeable and let me lay on the mattress for as long as I liked so I could really get a feel of it.Whats even better, is despite the other places having near constant sales, getting my bed at Johnathan Stevens was still drastically cheaper than the latex mattresses were anywhere else. When I came in to buy I was even offered a few hundred dollars off if I bought their store display mattress, since they were in the process of switching them out.Ive had my latex mattress for about a year and two months now and have absolutely no complaints about its quality and comfort.

We purchased a Twin size Comfort Rest 3 for our sons new bunk bed from Jonathan Stevens Matress Co. We came in near closing time and the salesman; Regan Lundquist, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and helped guide us in finding the right matress. We were also able to take it home with us the same day. Our son has been comfortably sleeping on the matress for almost 2 full months now, but they have a 90 day comfort exchange and return policy in case you are not as satisfied as we have been! They have a large selection for any price range and and we would return in the future for any matress needs!

My Grandmother purchased a mattress that was uncomfortable. After conversing with the store Owner, he made the situation right!

I cant believe you can not purchase a mattress from this store and take it home that day. Just what I want, to pay 2400 cash to wait a week for delivery. Rediculous i say, i cant sit at home all day on an effing weekday waiting for you turds to deliver something that fits in my truck perfectly fine.
