I was recently in the market for a slightly used Nissan cargo van, after stumbling onto Affordable Automobiles website and seeing a vehicle that interested me I called and spoke to a very nice salesman named Daniel. Daniel answered several questions I had, I wasnt sure I wanted to step up the model and quality of the vehicle I had called about. So after thinking a few days and contacting Daniel again he sent me more photos showing the vehicle and its condition more over, this was very important since I live 1200 miles away from them. It wasnt like I could just drop by and check it out, I had to trust Daniel and this company about the vehicles condition. After nailing down an agreement to purchase the vehicle I sent a deposit and booked a flight when I could make it and they held the vehicle until I made the trip. Upon arrival at the local airport Daniel sent a driver to pick me up and I arrived at the dealership, right away I was greeted by Daniel and he welcomed me in. I inspected the vehicle and took it for a test drive, it was just as they had described it and I completed the purchase of the vehicle. During the paperwork process I met Mike who also was a pleasure to do business with he had all the paperwork completed and ready for me to just sign and walk out. Literally after only being on the ground in Myrtle Beach for about 2 hours I was pulling out of the dealership in my new van heading off for a Loster roll lunch at a local restaurant the guys referred me to. After receiving a phone call from the general manager and ask to come back so they can redo the alignment on my vehicle the problem was ramedied by the affordable auto. By paying me off, AND ME HAVING TO REMOVE THE FIRST POST THAT I POSTED ON 3/17/2021 that was not favorable to them. They showed no remorse or compassion for what they put me through. What i mean buy paying me off is that they gave me my money back that i paid them for the alignment that was never done on 3/17/2021. And From my conversation with mr. Scot the general manager he had no other choice but to have to admit that this was the situation that took place on 3/17/2021. And because everything that was put in to the alignment computer on 3/18/18/2021. can be substantiated by way of the paper trail on mentioned above date of 3/18/2021. And its also on his personal phone that he showed me. Why they sent me out on my mary way on 3/17/2021 in a car was not potentially safe baffles me. Mr. Scot did not care about how i felt. all he care about is that the company received a bad review from me. And so theres no miss understanding the call i received on the morning of 3/18/2021 was from the original individual who lied to me. And not mr. Scot as i mentioned above. I posted that because mr scot wouldnt let the issue about the first review go. The garbage that fisrt person i dealt with on 3/17/2021 about that all cars drift to the right because of how the roads are constructed. I had to Google this information because i didnt believe a word that this individual was explaining to me. And mr. Scot was okay with this individuals Actions. Again Mr. Scot cared only about the first review and nothing about the unsafe condition that my car left in on 3/17/2021 it never came up in the conversation. While taking a friend to pick up their car at Affordable Auto, my car alternator went out in the parking lot. Lucky for me they were able to diagnose the problem and get me back on the road at a reasonable price. They were very courteous and fast. I would recommend them for any of your auto repair needs.

Oil changes are more affordable than the big names shops, Ed always gives a friendly greeting & coming here all the time, they know who I am. I have told my family about this place & they’ve been coming here for oil changes too. I wouldn’t recommend any other place to work on your car.

I bought my last work van from Affordable Autos last May and have been very pleased with van and the service. I also started getting my whole fleet serviced and the oil changed there. Their service department is top notch. I know my next vehicle will come from Affordable Autos.

Affordable Autos is a used commercial vehicle dealer and repair shop so dont expect red carpet and cappuccinos but I highly recommend them for service work. Ed, the owners and their team always do the more major work on my wifes Tahoe and Im always pleased with the quality of work and the price. I genuinely trust them and never feel uncomfortable questioning them on options. If you need a mechanic and still need a legit shop but dont want to go to the dealer or on the other end of the spectrum a shady mechanic, then this is a place to go.

The mechanic service is good but if they promise to give you a lift to their shop to get your car and theyre late and you have to call a cab because you cant afford to leave your car in their shop that day because you have to leave early in the morning the next day they will charge you an extra $35 dollars. Completely ridiculous. Im glad Im moving out of town and will never come back.

I had a transmission failure in my E350 Ford Diesel van. Affordable charged me to remove and replace it but the people they had rebuild it missed something and could not figure out what was wrong. I first took it to a Ford dealer and after several days they couldnt find the problem either but charged me for the time to look. I ended up taking the truck to a transmission shop and they quickly found the problem but had to charge me again. At that time I was out the cost of the rebuild,. the cost of the work at the Ford dealer and then the transmission shop. I had no choice but to ask Affordable for a refund for the work they couldnt finish and they gladly refunded the total amount to help me pay all the extra costs. This keeping in mind that they did not do the internal work on the transmission but just Removed and Replaced it. For that reason I would recommend doing business with Affordable Automobiles.
