Little home in the wall. Seems like a nice family owned business. Towed my vehicle there and was ready next day. Called several other shops and all were, too busy to bother with my car.Honest mechanic!Very rare to find one. They could have told me it was something more expensive but didnt. Im glad because I knew what was wrong but didnt have time to do it myself.Was a little pricey for the work that was done. But; fast, honest, and quality bunch of mechanics here.

My husband and I are from Ontario and are here in Myrtle Beach for a weeks holidays. Our car was experiencing difficulty with its charging system. We took the car to this dealership and received both quick and honest service. Not only did they look at our car right away but they held onto it overnight to check its running ability thoroughly. Although they had the car for 2 days, they were honest and said the car was running fine. Furthermore they charged us a minimal cost. Stopped in to get a quote on a repair and was told $280 for the repair including the part and then $60 for an alignment, they were more than ready to make me an appointment without even looking to see if what I thought was wrong with my car was right. I had to ask to have someone confirm that that was the issue and told them I would call them to book the appointment. I went and bought the part myself for $60 to save myself some money and called them back to get a new quote and now it is $240 with a $69.95 alignment. If theyre already trying to rip me off before touching my car, I would not trust my baby in their greedy hands

I chose this shop as an out of town visitor due to Google Reviews. They got me in with an hour notice on the day I was supposed to leave. They repaired the vehicle at a fair price, and even offered a two year warranty on the parts. Best of all they had me in and out in under 3 hours. Great shop I had my transmission go out and other local shops was trying to charge me 2000 to fix the problem.I found the part for half the price but the other shops {like 4) only would use their connections.This shop found me a virtually new part 1200 out the door. Car runs great.They called and stayed in contact with me throughout the process.I totally recommend this shop.

I had my 07 FJ Cruiser leave me stranded on 17 Business because of a sudden Alternator Failure. I took it to this shop because of previous reviews. By nature I dislikeAutorepair shops, but this place is amazing. The pricing I was given for the work that needed to be done was exactly the price I was going to try to haggle down too. They gave me the fair price of the work upfront without any hassle. I was so pleased with the pricing decided to to get new brakes, and rotors while I was in there. All of the work was done in 3 hours. Amazing place. Use this shop, they are honest, and do great work.

Im so thankful and relieved to have found Auto Care Specialist of Myrtle Beach. Being from out of State, while visiting my daughter who attends college locally, I was driving the Scion TC she brought to school from home and noticed right away, a heavy pulsating indicating possible brake replacement was likely needed. Not knowing who to call, I googled Auto Repair in the area, saw some good reviews for this business so called to ask if they had time to even just look at the issue. They offered to check it out within a half hour. When I got there they had a diagnosis of front end brake pads and rotors very quickly. Their quote for parts and labor was very fair and reasonable and they were also able to complete the job immediately! I was even offered a ride to the local mall if I preferred not to wait in their waiting area! I asked if instead I could do a few errands with the car and bring it back for the job in about an hour and a half which they were willing to do that also! When I got back the car was taken in right away and completed within an hour! Attley and AJ (Father/Son team) were helpful, honest and personable! I was highly satisfied with my experience and now have the comfort of knowing that while my daughters car is away from home, we can trust and rely on excellent service from Auto Care Specialist in the future!

Went to this shop today because several shops were closed due to Memorial Weekend, and Im not from Myrtle Beach. When I arrived the business was closed, but the mechanic that was still at the shop took time out to see if it could be a quick fix. But it ended up being a transmission problem. But I was just thankful for him taken the time to check for the problem. He could have just turned me away, but he didnt. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for work to be done on there vehicle. THANK YOU for your excellent customer service.

In August of 2017 they replaced evaporator core for our 2007 Prius Toyota. Sparks quoted twice as much as we paid. The job was done quickly and have not had any problems. Atley did the work. Great job.

We were in Myrtle Beach on vacation when our van wouldnt start. We had it towed to the shop and when we called the next morning to check they said it was just the battery. After labor, we paid over $350...for a battery. They did not call and consult us on what needed to be done, even though when my fiancé talked to them when we had it towed they said theyd call before doing any work. So, we paid $350 for a battery we could have gotten and installed ourselves. The shop said theyd send someone to pick my fiancé up at the hotel, they drove our vehicle. After we got everything packed into the van we went to start it and it did the exact same thing it was doing the day before. So not only did we get ripped off on a battery, they did not fix the problem.

These guys are THE BEST!! We came to Myrtle Beach for a meeting. We blew a spark plug out - made it to our hotel. Had the car towed to another NAPA place. They wanted to replace the engine. AJ and his crew intervened for us - plug and coil pack were replaced in a few minutes for less than $200 as opposed to $5000 and we were back on the road. Im glad to have found this shop. I live in PA and my daughter is a student living in Myrtle. So when her car broke down and left her stranded it was a bit stressful. I called around looking for a mechanic that I was comfortable dealing with over the phone. I found that with AJ at Autocare Specialist. The process of getting the car towed and repaired was exceptional. AJ was very accommodating and continued to live up to promises throughout.

I cant say enough about AJ and his guys. We were 100s of miles away from home and had coolant issues on my toyota Sequoia. Not knowing who to trust not to take advantage of us because we were out of town it was a true blessing to find all the helpful reviews on this shop. Not only did they fix my coolant issues they also found a crank sensor wire almost cut thru from laying on a belt and fixed that too. They did all this within a few hours. They took us to get a rental car so we wouldnt be stranded. They made all our repairs under $550. I cant say enough about how good they took care of us. We had no further issues while on vacation our on the way home. Thank you!!!

Not going to bash the shop that had ruined my entire day buuuuut ACS had saved my life today. I came to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break from Kentucky with a small oil drip coming from my car. Went to a shop (not this one) somehow they managed to put an extra 5 quarts of oil into my car, messing up my car... My car was smoking, it had stopped and would not turn on, I was told I need a new motor and a used one would cost me around $6,500. Thankful to google and a friend who recommended this shop. They were able to get my car fixed and I was able to drive out of there BEYOND HAPPY a few hours later! They were the sweetest and most compassionate people Ive ever talked to! Checked in on me to make sure everything is ok! The BEST experience Ive ever had in any car shop and Ive been in a few!! Definitely recommend this place, cannot get better than this!! AJ can make magic happen. When in doubt, go let them check it out, they definitely know what theyre doing!
