We used this company to have a 2010 Audi A5 Convertible top fixed for customer we sold it to and they were fantastic. Figured out the issue quickly and communicated with us efficiently the whole way. Top would no longer go up and down and the vehicle was only in the shop for a few days. Figured everything out quickly. Price was very reasonable and they were very professional. Well it seems a car never needs maintenance until you absolutely need it everyday for the foreseeable future! What I thought was going to be a quick fix ended up being a couple day process. EuroPro was a little slow to get it diagnosed but I’m sure just like everywhere else these days they’re probably running on limited staff. Once my car was diagnosed I received a full estimate, with pictures, on what definitely need done now and things that could be fixed/updated but wasn’t needed for performance at the moment. I was able to accept what I wanted them to fix and wait on the other stuff. Was able to pay over the phone and pick up my car after hours. All in all their prices are reasonable and they do their best to get the job done quickly. Definitely will use them for any other major fixes that may come up!

Absolutely awful! I brought my car to them in Hopes of them diagnosing the car and fixing. After about 3 days they sent me the text in the picture. They said they werent able to fully diagnose my car because it kept cutting off and needed a $968 battery wire before they can actually say what the problem is. I would have been an idiot to pay $1000 for a battery wire, that supposedly ran from the front to the back of my car. On top of that they charged me an entire hour of diagnostic fees, when all they done was scan my car and not even be able to diagnose the issue..Anyways I took my car to another shop they had no issue diagnosing the car, they informed me the battery wire was $50, and did not run from the front to the back of my car and just to throw in there this place specializes in foreign vehicles too! To cut the story short Ken Baker tried to charge me nearly $4500 to start repairing my car, for an issue that they werent sure about. While the other shop charged me $1500. Mind both shops would have been doing the same repairs. They are SCAMMERS! The guy couldnt even give me an invoice of parts and labor separately.

Brought car in for water pump replacement. Work was performed quickly and havent had an issue with coolant leak, its only been a couple weeks. When driving the car home from shop check engine light comes on. Brought car back to shop, was told that turbos are not working because wastegate is rattling. Could be just an unfortunate coincidence, but I find that very hard to believe. So I went from a small coolant leak to a massive engine issue. Cost $1400 for a water pump, thermostat, and coolant flush and fill, I can only imagine what they would charge to remove and replace 2 turbos, probably $6-7 thousand. Communication with staff is also very poor. I left 2 voicemails which the said they never received. Replied to a text message sent to me from the shop, with no response, was told I would receive an estimate on turbo repair, never received. Went to the shop to get an answer on what was wrong around noon one day, was told the tech had just left for lunch and he would contact me when he returned, finally heard back the next afternoon. Highly not recommended.

My parents brought their 2005 Mercedes here because they had a pretty severe oil leak, about a quart a week, they usually bring their car to me to repair but I live in NJ and they live in SC, Europro charged them almost $600 to do a front main seal, which in my opinion was done too fast as well because the Teflon seal is suppose to set over night which they didnt do, after that was done still had the same amount of oil leaking, Europro told them that it’s an oil pan gasket and quoted them $700 (for a $50 gasket and a couple hours of work), they finally brought it up to me while visiting, me and a mechanic friend found that it was a corroded crush washer on an oil port bolt, took us 30 minutes to diagnose and change and $0.50 in parts, I would not recommend these “mechanics” unless you’re looking to get ripped off and have incorrect work done, they continue to call my parents liars as well and won’t admit their wrong doing, two backyard mechanics did a better job than “certified Mercedes specialist”, I would’ve never written a review but they really upset me by taking advantage of my parents and then yelling at them saying that the two most honest trustworthy people I know are liars, very unprofessional

Three words: Dont Do It. I normally take my car to Mercedes, which I ended up having to do anyway, but I figured I would save some money and give this place a try. I was given a diagnostic and was told what needed to be repaired, was given an estimate and I dropped my car off the following day. I was told my car would originally be ready that Friday, in which it wasnt. I didnt even receive a courtesy call advising me of this, I had to keep calling them. I did receive a call letting me know the original estimate increased, which out of all of the years Ive used Mercedes and BMW Ive never had the original quote changed. A couple of days later I was given a loaner that barely worked, ended up being towed from my house. Finally get my car back, the next day the check engine light comes back on and I noticed the car was still making the original noise that was causing a problem. We all make mistakes, so I called and ended up taking the car back. Was given an excuse and was told the problem was fixed, well apparently not because the check engine light came back on by the time I got home. Took the car back again, and was told something else was wrong with it and was given a price to fix it. Why didnt this problem come up in the original diagnostic? My car was in worse shape than before I took it, even started cutting off in which Ive never had this problem before. I told Mercedes the estimate and repairs that were given, and the technician gave me a lower estimate and stated there is no reason it should have taken that long unless someone didnt know what they were doing. So not only did I waste money and time with this place, but my car was in worse shape after it left this place. Im typically a fair and understanding person, but this was just totally unacceptable. The good reviews that were posted by others honestly sound like they were from friends or family.

It’s always hard to know who to trust when it comes to repairs and service on your vehicle, especially if it’s your only transportation. I did my research first - I needed a simple oil change and possible CV joints. I had to leave a voicemail for the MB dealership (they still haven’t called back). I tried a couple other local shops as well. When I spoke with Matt, he was personable, very helpful, and was able to fit my vehicle in right away. I had read some unflattering reviews online during my research, but I take online reviews with a grain of salt. Matt quoted such a competitive rate and his knowledge made me feel comfortable, so I decided to take the chance, check it out for myself, and form my own opinion. I’m really glad I did.I have been to repair shops that would try and talk me in circles assuming that I don’t know anything about vehicles and then attempt to upsell. There was none of that here. Curt did the oil change inspection. With the car on the lift, they actually physically pointed out to me a couple things that may eventually became an issue - no pressure, no upsell. I appreciated that they were willing to show me so I could actually see the issue and understand, rather than just tell me. I also appreciated the feeling that Curt was thorough in the inspection, rather than rushing cars in and out, and then you’re left “hoping” the inspection you’re often charged for was actually performed. I have a little one, so the safety of my only vehicle is important.I apologize for the lengthy review, but I feel like customers are less inclined to take the time to write a positive review as opposed to a negative, and I wanted to share my experience to help any potential customers who are also unsure of where to go. The pricing, professionalism, customer service, transparency are invaluable to me as a customer - I will definitely be back for any future service and repairs.

Story short, if you are okay with people taking condescending tones with you all the time, telling you that your car will be ready, then arriving to see they havent touched it, couldnt be bothered to take two minutes out of their day to call you let you know you shouldnt waste the gas and time to come see your car with nothing done to it, then getting told that the bill was up to $400 before they even touched what it you came in for, charging you for brake fluid even though it is already paid for, and in the trunk like they were told several times, and instead of drilling and bolting something down like I told them to, they just ziptie it... then yes. This is the shop for you. This is the type of place where see what the check engine light is for translates into rack up several hours of labor chasing a vacuum leak you arent going to fix anyway and dont call me- even if it is a good business decision to do so.Thinking about my experience at Ken Baker gives me heartburn, never will I bring any of my vehicles there again... I truly believe that they are a great shop a lot of people around here. But I dont enough money and ignorance to be in that crowd. Well, I would have rated this lower but there were no options. My story is about a 2014 VW Jetta that took many weeks to repair. The car needed a different engine and the quote was $2200 dollars if I supplied the engine, which I did. The final cost was $3500 for just labor and I also bought all the parts for another $2100 dollars. Here is what happened:1. After installing the engine they diagnosed that the battery was bad which I had put a new battery about a year prior.2. Once they found that out they then took several days and informed me the alternator was bad and the additional cost was $700 plus dollars.3. in an effort to save money I searched for an alternator repair shop in the area to no avail and bought a new one from the local VW dealer. just under $500 dollar. Ken baker charged me for the installation4. After the installation, they called and informed me that the Turbo was bad so I went and bought an OEM turbo for just under $1000 dollars. Ken Baker charged me for the installation.5. Several days passed and then I was informed that the alternator was bad because I had the old one rebuilt. I then told them it was a new alternator from a dealer. Well they decided the car was ok now and that it needed a battery or at least it needed a charge6. I then was told that the battery had repaired itself and I could come, pick it up. I did and 6 hours later the car went into a limp mode. I had to have the car towed back to Ken Baker.7. After diagnosing the car they wanted to charge me (which I refused) and the service tech slammed the phone in my ear because I told him I was not going to pay (guessing) I did ask to speak to Ken Baker and was told they would not allow me to talk with him.8. So now we are at an end pass I am refusing to pay and Ken baker is refusing to put the new alternator in at their expense.9. I then decided to have the car towed at my expense to the local dealer for a second opinion on the new alternator.10 After the diagnosis from the dealer, they informed me that the alternator was good and that the wire harness was damaged and needed to be re-insulated. This cost me $120 dollars plus the towing11. I call Ken Baker and gave them the option to pay the dealer or tow the car back and fix it. which they chose to fix the car and agreed to tow it.12. well the wiring was fixed and when I went to pick it up they informed me that the wiring to the alternator was also damaged. So, in summary, Ken Baker had no clue how to diagnose this issue and I paid for it dearly. the most frustrating is there is a good chance I did not need an alternator nor a turbo and to make it even more aggravating they would not allow me to talk to Ken Baker who personally solicited my business 7 to 8 years prior and I had used this repair shop for many years on many different vehicles. Well, I no longer feel this is a quality shop that has care for my cars. Thanks, A lot Ken!!!!! You have truly let your company go down hill

I purchased my first BMW from Ken Baker Originals almost 7 years ago, and since then as my family grew and my needs changed, I have purchased 2 more. I can definetly say that although no body looks forward to spending money on their cars, i can always trust Daryl and the guys at the Myrtle Beach location to treat me with the respect and care that you dont get at the BIG dealerships. I will be a customer for life.

They took our VW Touareg although their lifts were full and Mark the mechanic rebuilt our driveshaft center support bearing and put everything back together just in time for our trip back to NY. Drove 1,000 miles and no issue. Excellent work and customer service!

Mark at Ken Baker has been phenomenal in helping me with my ailing Saab. Since a part had to be ordered from out of state, I was given a BMW loaner and was able to keep for free until my part came in. I was very impressed with the service and the follow up and tracking of the part. I was also received a handwritten thank you in the mail while my car was in the shop.
