They surely practice price hiking, as the # of available vacancies in the area decreased. They tried to charge ppl $375/night for a room! I went to bookings.com & got a 2night stay for $346+fees & tax ($451.89).🐂💩A girl was in the lobby complaining of killing a roach in her room after paying $220/night. 🤭The mother/daughter (owners) spoke in English, but Arabic to each other in private conversation (during the check in process) 🙄The ATM out front charged a $9 fee to withdraw money! 😩ByThe floors were gritty, in the room. The crooked mirror, on the wall, made me nervous. Be careful at the 2nd landing, as a board is zip tied to cover a broken railing. But, at least we didnt have to sleep in the van. 🤷

They definitely need to remodel that store. Frozen section was a mess and didnt really have anything. The cashier was really nice and funny so overall, the visit was okay.

The store closes at 9pm, when we pulled up we saw two of the staff outside the back of the store smoking and the doors to the store were locked (its 8:33 right now). We went to ask them to unlock it (cause it wasnt time to close for them yet) and they were gone.

Stopped in to pick up a few things. Store was disorganized and all around messy and unkept looking. Cashier was friendly though. No line at checkout while I was there. Had a hand sanitizer dispenser right at the door but it didnt work.

I always find something I need in there.

Very rude employees! Just witnessed them kick out two people before me for no reason, one of the workers literally tried to jump over the counter on someone. I went back in to get a toy one of the guys was trying to buy because I felt bad for him the dude at the register looked back at the other worker and said “should I”? Like what.. not let me buy it? Then when I paid he demanded 27 cents the item was $3 I handed him a 5. Maybe should learn how to do second grade math if anything. ALSO this man was blowed out of his mind his eyes were rolling in the back of his head.

Terrible service. The employees over here are extremely rude. As we were putting on our masks while stepping into the store, not even near anyone, the lady at the counter yells at us from across the room, cant you read? The sign on the door says wear a mask. After brushing it off and apologizing, even though we were putting on our masks before she started with us, she continues to nag, you made a conscious decision to not wear a mask, blah blah blah... This behavior was completely rude and unnecessary to law abiding shoppers who did nothing wrong.

I thought because I was new to the area, the employees at this store gave me a hard time. Moving to myrtle, I didnt know this particular area was the bad area. I come from a good family and served 4 years in the United states military also. I dont drive right now, so this is the closest store that I garner access to that sells food. The older black lady, manager possibly follows me around the store my entire visit, makes rude comments about people stealing. Makes me leave me 100$ Hollister purse in the front of the store with my wallet and belongings in it, which makes me feel anxiety because ive been stolen from before. I cant even carry a bottle of water into this store when its 100 degrees outside and I just walked a mile to get to the store to spend cash! Not ebt not government funds, my hard earned cash which I only spend on food in this store. I purchase all of my needs at this store. Today was my 11th time going here and the lady whom knows I always spend cash and dont steal, still follows me around the store, makes me leave my purse in the front, even upon knowing that I dont n havent stolen. Im at the point its becoming harrassment in the fullest just to go to the store and buy food for me and my small family. If there was another store in walking distance I definitely would take my business there. Im so tired of being treated like a convict just because Im coming to your store to buy food!!!I leave in a horrible mood because Ive never been treated so badly and with such disrespect in my life. I lived in Iraq and didnt get treated this way grocery shopping. If I had another option Id never shop at another family dollar as long as I lived. Unfortunately there is no other way for me to obtain groceries in this town. When I move, regardless of where, I will never step foot into another family dollar ever. Its not my fault your store is on a side of town that Im guessing everyone that comes in robs you. By the way you treat me, Im guessing your minimum wage job is worth your life? Most people would have already snapped and fought the lady at this point. Why are you harassing me constantly when I come into your store and spend money 2 or 3 times a week? If it werent for me, your paying customer, you wouldnt have a job! If this is how this town treats law abiding cash paying citizens, I cant get out of here quick enough. Thanks myrtle beach family dollar for your horrible hospitality and welcoming to your town. I hope this trashy hole in the wall store sells out to maybe dollar general. At least dollar general cleans their stores and replenishes shelves. This store is not only rude, its dirty, unsanitary, falling in, nothing is ever in stock, even after a month of looking for the same product, popsicles because I have health problems and sometimes can only keep popsicles down. Its been over a month and still havent ordered more. I may hand to walk 2 or 3 miles farther for a dollar general, but starting now, its worth it. I may hand chrons and walking that far is too much, but Id rather take the chance than spend another dollar in this store where Im treated worse than a bank robber for coming in to spend cash. I keep getting told, its because of the area, thats just an excuse, Im a very clean, well kept female, so Im pretty sure the lady can look at me and tell Im not like the people from this area. Im not a homeless dope fene like the homeless people that infest this part of town. Im sorry all the homeless drug addicts have stolen from your store, but Im not them. I refuse to be harassed anymore for spending money. I hope this store closes and goes out of business. Very irritated ex customer....future only dollar general customer.

Thank you for kicking me out today because my 1 year old wasnt wearing a mask and they are not required to. I will never come back in this store again. The CDC says that children under 2 should NOT wear a face mask.

The people working were very nice and the store was easy to navigate. It was a very good experience overall, the only complaint bug the lack of apparent parking

Been here a few times.People in area very shifty, not uncommon to have people loitering about and asking for money outside. Parked on the side off the building a few times, and got trapped in about half the time, dont bother driving here.On a few different occasions the staff were not even present at the registers when I went to check out.Those items warrant the loss of 3 stars.The up side is that the prices are the same even though it is right at the beach where commonly price gouging occur, and they have your usual selection of goods.

Ceecee was very nice and helpful. The other employee I spoke to was rude, but when speaking with Ceecee she was very polite and respectful.
