Awesome shop!!! Packed with unique items. I LOVE THEIR LAMPS!!! nice selection of candles, also. We enjoyed shopping in here. The employee was very pleasant.

I visited the Southern Candle Studio at the Boardwalk on Broadway in North Myrtle Beach while vacationing with my family. The store was first brought to my attention when my brother and his girlfriend purchased two different absolutely beautiful and elegant glass lamps from the store and showed them to us. The selection is amazing at the store with a variety of beautiful and original items to purchase that included beautifully scented candles, wax melt candle lights and the turkish lamps. I decided to go home and look at my decor again to determine which room I wanted to purchase a turkish lamp for when we returned home from vacation. I got online to peruse their website and then decided to contact the store and was fortunate enough to speak to one of their owners, Emma. She was the epitome of southern hospitality!! We chatted via Facebook messenger and she was more than happy to help me find the perfect lamp. I described the size and style that I wanted based on what my brother had purchased and the colors I was looking for. She was kind enough to take a picture of all those types of lamps in the store and then we narrowed it down to a few selections. She was extremely patient and kind offering suggestions of what was available. She did tell me that no two lamps were alike being thst they were handmade, once one is purchased it probably wont be available again as each one is unique and beautiful in its own way. She was kind enough to put the purchase together for me and include the bulbs for the light and then sent me an online invoice emailing it to me with the picture of the the lamp that I had purchased. It was extremely simple to pay online and it was an itemized bill including my purchase and the shipping. The process couldnt have been smoother and the lamp was shipped to me via UPS . I received it two days later! I couldnt recommend this store more highly for their beautiful and unique products and the professional and courteous customer service that I received. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind gift be it for a wedding, a birthday or just something to add a unique & elegant touch to your home then consider this company and their products, you cant go wrong .

I saw this lamp in the shop and loved it but we had left before I could buy it. I sent an email and a woman emailed me back right away. She took my description and sent me a few pics that weren’t it. 800 miles away I was so disappointed I gave up talking to her and left it alone. 3 days later this lady had tracked down the lamp I wanted with the exact globes and shipping took 2 days. I really appreciate she did that.The lamp and globes are hand made in Turkey and it is so illuminating I can’t describe it. I love it. I wish they had 8 foot floor lamps. They had a beautiful chandelier. It was the prettiest shop I’ve ever seen. The pictures are of the lamp and the other is the light bulbs in the globes.

I love this store!!! The lamps are beautiful!!! And the chakra and stone jewelry is beautifully made. My daughter bought a necklace from here and when we got to our hotel dropped and broke it. I contacted the store and they went above and beyond to get her the exact necklace. We are going to visit this store every time we are in town.

The ladies at the shop were distracted in their personal convo which I didnt mind but seemed a bit rude. The candle selection was plentiful, but after buying three 4 oz candles from the mens selection I later realized the wick is too short and after a few uses the wick burnt out, leaving half a container of wax that I cannot use. The scents are great and lasting but now I have three great scented candles that cannot be used. Not worth 80 bucks for 3 4oz candles that only burn half way.

Their products are beautiful. They were very patient and helpful with us in picking out the right lamp. The price is great for the quality. I highly recommend them.

Terribly cold service. They had nice looking lamps, but I cut my finger on its glass. The sales person didn’t even bother to hand me a tissue and went on talking to another person.

Everyone so helpful and their scents are so delicious, we were able to fine a candle warmer (impossible to find) on sale here🕯😊

Please dont confuse this place with Southern Candle Classics! Southern Candle Studio (in Myrtle Beach SC), has AMAZING candles! Ive bought lots for myself and as gifts for others! Their scents smell fabulous! And they melted candle can be applied as a great moisturizer! That may be equally my favorite! This company is very professional and easy to work with! Ive bought in person, while on vacation, and have ordered. My favorite, all natural candle in the world!

They have some very nice products and my wife and I loved the colorful handmade lamps but the best part happened after the sale was done and we were back home in NC. The salesperson was charming and we were talking quite a bit while she rang us up. She made a mistake on the price and we should have caught it at the time but did not catch it until we got home the next day. We called them and left a message and in no time the owner called us and within a day fixed the mistake. He was super nice and easy to deal with and gave us a great deal. We love the lamps. They make beautiful christmas gifts.

We found this store while visiting Myrtle Beach. My mom & I were so impressed by the quality and beauty of the products they offered. We both purchased lamps while there, and almost as soon as I came back I ordered another as a gift. I was emailed stating that the particular lamp I had ordered was out of stock. The customer service person offered plenty of other options to pick from, and even went as far as sending it with a complimentary bulb to go with the lamp. Customer service is fantastic, as well as the product! I will definitely be a returning customer!

We discovered Southern Candle Studio while on vacation, my wife fell in love with a fragrance warmer. We purchased the fragrance warmer, essential oils, and wax melts. The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

I purchased online three candles online they all smell great and it came in under a week. Their customer service was great. After a small mixup with my order they answered within an hour or so and sent me a new product first class. That’s how all businesses should operate. If a small store can do it than anyone can! Thanks for the quality products at a fair price. I’ll be shopping again!

I bought two of their candles. They are called “Blessed” and “Sexy”. These candles are divine. Looking to get some more to give as gifts (and want some more for myself too!). Cool store to explore and reasonably priced as well. Looking forward to going back.

Very odd service. I don’t usually do reviews unless I can be positive. There at 5:30 pm on 12/29/19 and the girl was bothered (maybe interrupted her phone use even though she’s being paid to be there and was not cleaning or trying to close...just sitting behind the counter). My adult daughters and one teenage daughter were looking at products, and sales girl very snottily tells them about candle lotion (as if that’s a normal product) & how to use it. Very condescending when this is a unique product. They even, in a clear voice, thanked her and said goodbye with no acknowledgement. They may have bought product but left very confused instead. If I owned the store, I would want to know. But seems to have great products.

I just love my new lamp, so gorgeous! I think it’s the most beautiful thing in my house, thank you for doing such a great job!

Love the lamp I purchased, can’t find the king of lightbulb it needs whatsoever and absolutely cannot find a number to reach out to the store to ask. Can someone please tell me where to buy the small LED lightbulb?!

This place has some really good Locally hand poured candles that smell amazing, so many scents to choose from. The girl working there was very friendly and helpful as well. I am now a fan and shall return next time I come to the beach.

I don’t normally do reviews, but this place has very bad customer service. Whenever i was there my mom & i both bought lamps. I was so excited to come home & plug it in.. but whenever i did i noticed that the girl who packaged my lamp never gave me a lightbulb. She also seemed kinda irritated while she was checking me out- not sure if that has something to do with it or not. ANYWAYZ whenever i reached out to them Via Instagram i told them my situation asking if they could send me one or tell me where to get one. . They told me where to go rather than offering to send me a bulb (whatever) but when i went to where they told me to go they didn’t have bulb. So when i messaged them asking them to send me one they read my message & never replied.If you shop here please make sure they package everything correctly. i would hate for anyone else to have to go through this after paying a good amount of money for a lamp.

Dont buy their small Dream Catchers for $16.99... Theres a kiosk selling the large ones for that price !! I dont appreciate being over charged, I dont care who you are. I even put my change in your Tip Jar...Why do they have a Tip Jar anyway.... Ill not go back.
