My review is for after purchase service. I have had my two seater hot tub for a little over 2 years. Enjoyed it very much until now. It developed a leak recently and no one in the Columbia/Lexington SC area wants to service the brand. I called the company and was pretty much told they couldn’t help me and that I was on my own. I have no idea what to do at this point but call it a paper weight.

I just received my spa yesterday, and so far so good. However, I have to say that it was a little unexpected and disappointing that the delivery was literally just that - delivery. Once they left I felt like a deer in headlights trying to remember what he said about the set up. How much “metal free” to put in (what even IS metal free??), how many bromide tablets, etc. I had asked the sales guy if the spa needed a special electrical outlet and he was adamant it did not. However, the delivery guy was unsure and said it “should” be okay to use the extension cord I had (but left before the tub was plugged in). I received test strips to check the alkaline, bromine, pH, and water hardness. The first time I checked, my pH and alkaline were way low, while the bromide was way high. The directions said to start with balancing the alkaline and move on from there. It said to simply add “Alkalinity Up” - but there was nothing of the sort included in the products kit I received. I also had to wrestle the cover out of the gigantic cardboard box it came in, and put together the hand rail (which is really flimsy and doesn’t even stay in place - it will be living in my garage, as it’s a waste of metal). Finally, the spa itself was “shedding” so to speak. Flecks of the plastic were floating at the top of the water once filled. I wished I would have gotten in there and wiped it out before filling it. All in all, the spa is beautiful and I’m hopeful to love it for a long time (hopefully I can figure out how to get the water levels to a healthy place). But if this is your first hot tub, be prepared to feel overwhelmed and confused as you’ll be left to your own devices to set it up.* I wasn’t going to leave a review, but by the 3rd text to do so, here we are.*

Love our hot tub. Glen and Marla are wonderful people and my family will continue to do business with them. The selections were beautifully set up and their showroom was in perfect condition. 5 stars at its best! The delivery was amazing and set up waa worry free. The technician explained every step and even put the first round of chemicals in for me. If I had a question, they always answered them without hesitation and with complete confidence. I dont need my handrails and i wont install them but at least ill jave them in case I need them. Thanks again guys...you rock!

What a great and easy experience with the Myrtle Beach Store. My wife and I were debating between a pool and a hot tub. I called made an appointment with Glen and we went that afternoon. Glen was very informative and to the point. He told me the facts I purchased a 6 person tub. Because they had so many deliveries I might not get it for a week so I offered to come and get it and did. Went home set it up and filled it within 30 minutes. Next day water was nice and hot. Great experience

We had our tub delivered a couple of weeks ago and have been in it every day. Glen told us we would love this tub and he didn’t let us down. From our first meeting with him, through the buying transaction, and finally the installation with a crane on our top porch, Glen was the consummate salesman - fair, thorough, and most importantly followed through in every way. My wife and I were finally ready to pull the trigger on a hot tub and spent a Saturday morning out shopping at some of our local retailers in the area. What we encountered was extremely surprising but understandable as well, due to the Covid-19 pandemic factories had long shut downs and demand was up putting our new hot tub arriving sometime next summer! A little disheartening my wife and I started home until she found SCM online. We gave them a call and spoke to Glenn and set up a time for the next morning to come take a look at their product. Glenn was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and showed us all of their products and features. The number one reason we came to meet Glenn the next day was that he said that he had availability within 4 weeks which sounded a lot better then next summer! Although their showroom was not as big or fancy as some of the other stores in the area it was neat and clean and had all the tubs available to see. When it came to price SCM blew the competition out of the water and it was instantly understood that they were passing their factory direct pricing on to their customers. Not only was the price fantastic, Glenn threw in steps and a handrail at no extra cost. My wife and I were both very happy with SCM and the product and were ready to purchase. As we were talking about colors for our new tub I said, I wish you had something in stock, I would put in the truck today, Glenn said to hold on a minute and came back and said that he did. Long story short we bought and loaded the tub in the back of our truck and my wife and I were able to unload it ourselves. Setup was simple and maintenance so far has been pretty effortless. We have been using the tub almost everyday and feel better and better about our purchase. Thanks Glenn and SCM, we will definitely be sending anyone we run into interested in a tub your way!

I got to know about SCM Relaxation while working at the Lake County Fair in Crown Point, IN. Over the course of the fair, I have cultivated a great relationship with the people in charge of the SCM Relaxation booth. After visiting me at my booth, my father went over to look at the tubs. We both decided to purchase one of the demo tubs and it was the best investment we made for our health. Easy to install, just plug and play. No contractors needed to build a footer. My health has improved since using the hot tub. Being a diabetic, my circulation is moving better, the color of my feet is improving, and the massage jets are amazing. Sitting in the tub for a half hour, the water gently massages away any shoulder and neck pain, my knees no longer hurt me as the pain cream I put on my knees seem to be more affective when applied after a good bath. We love or SCM hot tub and I am seriously thinking of purchasing one for my home overseas. We love our hot tub.

We received our SCM spa about 4 months ago, and we have used it almost everyday. My backpain has literally disappeared, and I can actually sleep through the night now. My grandson pushed all the buttons over and over, and I thought he had broken the controls. I called and SCM sent a spa technician the next day. Turns out the controls just needed reset. My salesman Glen has been great. He gave us his cell number and always answers any questions. Great customer service, and I highly recommend.

Like others have said- we really have enjoyed our hot tub! We bought it in July of 2019. It took about 4 weeks to arrive (right on the schedule they gave us) We initially had some issues figuring out balancing the water- but since we have figured it out its been a great experience! The salesman that helped us was very kind- however I do think he built some things up to be a little different than our experience. Its all worked in the end so I would say we are happy that we went with this hot tub and would recommend it to family and friends!

We purchased our hot tub from the Ionia Free Fair in Michigan back in August 2019. My husband and I had previously thought about getting one, but didnt think the weight would be a good idea for our upper deck. This unit is lightweight compared to most and we were able to get it into position easily. We were also told that it did not require all the chemicals and maintenance of more traditional hot tubs. I did not find that to be true, but, had I known that, I probably would not have purchased it, and my husband and I have enjoyed it almost every night since we purchased it. This is about the only time in my life that I am glad I wasnt told the truth. My husband and I have found about 1 1/2 hours per night to enjoy our time together in this tub. We have talked more in this tub than we have in years. We talk about the day, our plans, our dreams, etc. plus it has helped us with aching back pain, etc. that is common for people our age. We are very busy people and really dont know how we have come up with the time to spend in this tub each night, but I am grateful for this time together. The delivery came when it was supposed to, everything worked, and we have not had any issues yet. We did have it hard wired in, so the heater would run on the high jet position, since we live in Michigan and knew we would be using it in freezing temperatures. The only negative is that we live in Michigan and use it in freezing temperatures. Getting in and out of the tub is not my favorite thing to do. I sometimes stay in it way longer than I should, just because I dread getting out of it. I would have given this 5 stars, but I do feel I was a little mislead about the care and maintenance of the tub water.

It took me a long time to convince my husband to purchase one at the Meadowlands Fair in 2018. The guys were wonderful and patient. Almost the last day of the Fair, my husband purchased one. It is the best thing he ever purchased. We love it. I lowered the temperature in the hot weather and float on a raft and read and relax. It is wonderful in cold weather. It is the best!!!

I currently work for a home improvement company, and had the pleasure of my booth being next to the SCM Spa booth at one of my events. Over the course of several days, the salesmen there where very polite and cordial, and never once offered or tried to sell me a hot tub. As a sufferer of chronic hip pain, married to a sufferer of chronic back and neck pain, I had often thought of getting a hot tub as a way to ease the pain without medication. On the final day of the show, my husband and I purchased the 2 person triangular hot tub with all the trimmings and upgrades. Our salesman, Jason, was awesome at answering all of my husbands questions and kept it a very non-pressure environment. My husband was impressed with the dual speed motor differences, as well as the one piece construction. The tub was delivered about a week early, and set up was a breeze. My husband did call the Customer Support line for a few minor questions just to make sure we where operating the hot tub correctly, and he was getting the chemistry balanced properly. Customer support was Outstanding and made sure everything was solved and understood without batting an eye. Over the course of the last month that weve had the tub installed, we have used it pretty much daily without any issues at all. The tub greatly reduces my hip pain, as well as relaxes my husbands neck and back so his pain almost vanishes without taking pain pills. Keeping the tub at 101 degrees, pain relief, for us, lasts between 2 and 4 hours. The hot tub also uses very little electricity, far less than our pool pump does. This is with the hot tub in a 3 season room, which the tub keeps about 8 to 10 degrees warmer than outside, without any storm windows in place. The construction of the tub is exceptional, as well as the value of the hot tub. From sales, delivery, and customer support, I cannot recommend this hot tub, or SCM Relaxation enough. Thanks!

I bought a 6 person spa in October 2018. It was delivered in January 2019. It was the best decision we ever made. It has worked just like Jason said it would. Any questions on maintenance, I just call and they give the advice I need to take care of the spa. Quality is great. We enjoy the spa as much as possible.

Love this tub! It was so easy to set up and its running great!! I had a few questions while setting up, Im not so good with these things, but customer service was right there to help me through it. Definitely recommend this tub!

All the things I hated about conventional hot tubs SCM Relaxation tubs seem to fix. It runs on 110v outlets, it was easy for me and one other friend to get into place. Its set up was very easy, and it looks great! Jason was my sales person and he gave me all the information I needed. Getting the financing couldnt have been easier! Seriously they gave me approval in no time. Either way Ive wanted a hot tub forever and SCM Relaxation gave that to me at an ok price. It wasnt knock your socks off great, but good luck finding a quality tub for cheap! Also it was at my door three weeks to the day that I signed the papers. Not one other hot tub company could offer me that! THANKS JASON AND THANKS SCM RELAXATION!!!!!

We learned about SCM Relaxation Spas while visiting their display that they had during Myrtle Beach Bike week.What interested us about their spas was that the shell was a shaped single unit seamless PVC tub. They then install all the hosing, pumps and heater then foam insulation is blown in.This makes the tub light, well insulated and easy to maintain. Ours is listed as a six person tub but it is much more comfortable with four persons.SCM relaxation is a distributor for this tub, they are made in Florida and shipped up. They are made per order so there is about a two to three week wait till delivery.We had an issue with our tub after using it, the controls were not performing as ordered. We contacted customer service and found that we were shipped the wrong tub from manufacturer. We ordered one with dual speed motor, 120V with 240V hookup capability, waterfall, LED lights and UV light disinfection.They immediately began to rectify the problem and began production of my new tub. They were very sorry about the mistake and followed up with a special delivery of the tub. They called us with the delivery date, so we only had one day of down time between tubs. They swapped out the tubs, provided additional chemical maintenance kit and extra filter.The tub is awesome and the customer service is excellent.Our friends bought their tub at the same time we did, they did receive the right tub! They are very happy as well and we all reccomend using SCM Relaxation Spas.

Bought the hottub at the Louisiana state fair. It was the demo. Nov 2, 2018. Had not even had water in it. Now 6 months later it wont turn off. Heats to 118. Running up elect bill. To hot to get in. And they give no help at all. My problem.

I wouldnt recommend to anyone I was told I had a 5 year warranty its 7 months old and no help from them. Wont give me my money back. Wont fix the issue. And the warranty company informed me its only a 1 year warranty not 5
