We stopped by to grab some canvas umbrella bags. Super friendly people to deal with. I love their beach furniture and umbrellas. Great quality. I wanted to buy a new umbrella with different colors but we already have two from Lacks- one is 11 years old (still looks new after many beach trips) and the other is about 20 years old and still in great condition. I do look forward to our next purchase when the time comes.

We are currently sitting in 2 chairs and an umbrella after paying $40. Why the 1 star review you ask? Because 3 groups of folks are sitting around us, also comfortably in chairs and umbrellas, for free. The lifeguards took our cash, walked away, and havent been back since. So if anyone is thinking about bringing chairs or umbrella to myrtle beach, dont bother - theres plenty of free options. Just look for the yellow umbrellas with blue wooden chairs. If the lifeguards ask you for payment, act surprised you cant charge it to the room youre waiting on and they will drive away and leave you alone. Enjoy your trip to dirty myrtle and dont get scammed.PS the manager wont help you. The lifeguards wont help you. Once you give them cash, youre done.

Umbrella Ursula at the lifeguard stand was anything but helpful. Asked her to rent an umbrella and chairs. Told me she would be down to help me. She totally blew me off when she came down to rent to someone else. Then after sitting less than 10 feet in-front of umbrella line for nearly 2 hours, we were asked to move. After confronting her that I had asked to rent and was blow off, she disregarded me and walked off. Poor service all around. These lifeguards have watched way too many baywatch episodes and are very arrogant.

Very helpful and great service

This looks like a great place to get professional quality beach gear. Umbrellas, folding chairs, life guard tall chair, etc. They do not sell patio and balcony furniture, even though Google says so.

We go to the coast at least 3 times a year. My umbrella and chairs look brand new and they are over 10 years old. A little on the pricy side at first but you definitely get what you pay for and I’ve tried them all.

My parents bought a beach umbrella in the 1970s from Lacks Beach Service when it was located on Highway 707. My sister also bought one and had it shipped to Hawaii. We have used this umbrella since it was bought and its in perfect condition! This umbrella makes all our beach trips special! The best umbrella made!

Make the finest beach umbrellas and chairs in the country and service them to boot! Make sure and call before you go, because sometimes they just choose to call it a day...they make the best beach furniture, you cant expect any more than that! Great stuff!
