Called Fortunoff store where we moved from with questions about what I saw online. Moved from NY to De. Nunzio, in Nanuet N Y, (covering there this week) was extremely knowledgeable & helpful. He could not have been more helpful. We already have Fortunoff backyard furniture & wanted to add to it. He gave us the lowest price & the best deal. Very very pleased. Give this guy a raise!!!!

Great service and quick delivery! You just have to ask them which products are available for immediate shipping before you purchase. We did, and got a sectional set delivered right away.

My experience has been horrendous. I purchased outdoor furniture with Fortunoff back on March 26th, and was told it would be delivered by May 22. Called back in early May to get a confirmation and was told furniture was delayed till June 23. Called in early June and told now its coming in August.not sure if Ill every get the furniture and after paying up front in full why is it I am always calling them, and they never call me to provide an update.Sounds like a big scam. How can they be selling a product and not know when it will be delivered. Will never buy from them again and want my money back. Save your money and go to a reliable store that treats its customers with respect.

Customer Service after you make a purchase in the Poughkeepsie store is horrible. My issue has since been resolved, however, Norma told me that she was too busy to handle my issue and hung up on me twice. You spend $6000 and Fortunoffs sales staff hangs up on you. Its unfortunate because I like their products. Customer service on the other hand leaves much to be desired.

I just purchased a home and went into Fortunoff to see about backyard furniture. I found their furniture to be very nice. But I found the employees to be even nicer. I can’t remember the name of the young man that helped me the first time that I went, but he was very helpful. When I went back, Roberta helped me and got me what I needed in a timely matter and I was very happy with her service. Good job guys. 👍🏾

The store had a few customers and I did arrive around 5pm the day before the 4th of July. One worker did acknowledge me and I sensed they all had their hands full with others so I browsed on my own. The gentleman that helped me seemed to be the manager or higher in rank than the others because he was delegating tasks. I gave this store a three because though the manager tried to help me and others at the same time, I did not feel I received the level of attention I should have received given a large price tag. I bought the set because I really liked it not because of the service that was provided. For example, I mentioned wanting an umbrella with a base I changed my mind about the umbrella but the person who helped me forgot to add the vase onto my order. He did call me after leaving the store, but by then I had decided against it. Maybe hiring more staff members might be a better option for them. I was patient but felt like I had to be because he was trying to assist everyone.

I went into the Nanuet location a week ago. There was a set I liked. I called a few days later to see if they still had it. They only had the floor model left. I got enormous savings, the sales representative sent me pictures of every inch of the furniture to ensure there was no damage, they delivered for a reasonable fee, and the delivery guys were timely and treated my home and furniture with great care.

Lauren was amazing and helped me get a great deal on an outdoor seating set. She was so patient and nice and went out of her way to help me. And her manager was great as well! Thank you!!!

I am so pleased with my recent purchase at Fortunoff Backyard Store in Nanuet, NY. Our salesman, Terry, has been extremely helpful and patient. We needed a pretty big set, to seat 8 preferably, and some of the powder coated aluminum sets were originally priced in the high $4,000s! Even on sale, we couldn’t afford them. We spotted a floor sample that looked like the Trex decks, the composite-type decks that are basically plastic, and it came with 8 smallish armchairs in rattan, and we bought the umbrella, too. The table had some scratches, it was a floor sample after all, but the price was right, we’re not millionaires!Today the set was delivered and I was bewildered by why the movers were putting the table together from scratch. Why didn’t they just put the floor sample on the truck and deliver it assembled? When they brought the table up, it was UNSCRATCHED! The delivery man said they found a new table in the back of the store and gave me that one. I was floored.The set looks fantastic and I’m so grateful to Fortunoff and the delivery team for their kindness and proficiency.

Sales women Lauren was a pleasure. Didnt have a big selection of a 30 inch high top round table. Purchased site unseen. Hopefully I like it.

Update: My husband and I just went back to Fortunoff to buy another seating/dining set for the lanai in our condo. Once again, we were very happy with our shopping experience at the Backyard Store in Nanuet!Nader and Sherif spent a great deal of time helping us to explore different possibilities for our relatively small space. At no time did we feel rushed or uncomfortable, even as we moved furniture around and switched out the pillows, etc. Nader & Sherif were very patient and it was a pleasure to work with them. Had a bad experience with them they delivered a $3600 teak table with a board spliced in but misaligned and sticking up. Working with customer service but they just ignore you. Don’t buy from this company...
