I wanted to compliment the excellent work performed on a crack on my Windshield done on Monday October 11, 2021. The Technician Kevin was outstanding! He throughly explained the repair process and cost of the repair before he started the job! Upon completion, the crack is barely visible! Thank you Kevin and Safelite Staff! An excellent job done!
I can not say enough great things about this company. If I could give 10 stars I would. My windshield had 2 major cracks. I used the online appointment to schedule the repair. The technician Edwardo showed up exactly when he said he would. He even called me to let me know his ETA. Completed the replacement in an hour and a half. Two days later a Crack appeared on the edge of the glass, drivers side. I went online to see if they would replace it under warranty. I had a little trouble understanding what I needed to do, and told my wife that I needed to prepare for a huge battle to get this resolved. The following Saturday while eating breakfast a Safelite van backs down my driveway. Alfred gets out, looks at my windshield and tells me give me an hour and Ill be done. An hour later he shook my hand and drove away. THESE GUYS ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS. I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER COMPANY TO REPLACE A BROKEN WINDSHIELD. YOU SHOULDNT EITHER.HATS OFF TO TRULY PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. THANKS AGAIN.
I brought my vehicle in to have a chip repaired and the work is absolutely horrible…it looks like they didn’t do anything at all! The crack in the windshield is still present and very noticeable…at certain angles, the spider web effect of the crack/chip can still be seen. I’m very disappointed as I’ve had work done before at another safelite location and the results were impeccable. I realize that there will be some evidence of the damage after the repair….but this is extremely poor results. They’ve assured me that the chip is bonded and the glass is secure from spreading, but this work is unacceptable. I appreciate that they recognized that the work performed was not what one would expect and I was not charged for the service, but now I have to replace the windshield to correct the poor work.
I was sent here by my insurance Liberty Mutual to replace the windshield. They booked the appointment for the first time. I came and they told me they do not have windshield to be replaced. I took my chance and told them that I need original windshield. After 3 days silence I called the shop, they set up another appointment without even telling me this. I am coming again today. They told me that insurance refused to put original glass and still nobody is saying nothing. That is “great” customer service. Looking for another shop to fix my windshield!!!

If you want a properly installed windshield, do not bring your car here. They must be hiring anyone off the street without any experience and you can tell by the horrible job they do on your car. Never again.
I had an appointment for the 31st of August to replace my windshield but when I arrived I waited 10 minutes before being helped. Thats just the beginning. When I finally was helped I was told my appointment could not be found. Now its time to bring out the manager who after looking on the computer tells me the part wont be available till late September and my appointment was cancelled without even a phone call. All I got was a sorry. So glad I took a day off of work. Thats not how business should be done.
Super fast work, in and out in 30min to fix a small windshield crack I picked up driving behind a dump truck.
It’s been 2 months, and they can’t seem to get the windshield I need. They keep ordering the wrong one and then when my insurance calls them because (they never call me for updates) they will claim the windshield is in and on the day of the appointment they have the wrong one.But now that I’m reading the reviews, it seems like its a trend with them. (Naperville location) Now I need find another company. SMH
First appt was 8 days out so I waited for 8 days, and received numerous email and text reminders to be on time and dont forget, blah, blah. Showed up early for my appt and had arranged for someone to pick me up, but after the staff had me wait for 5 minutes they came back and said they did not have a windshield for my car! They never checked before I got there?? I wasted 45 minutes of my time as well as the persons who was picking me up only to be told basically tough $hit. They could have cared less...so I wont be returning..ever!
I would not recommend this shop. They broke my Outer and inner A-pillar trim, then used glue to try and cover it up. I found this out after my windshield was replaced because it disconnected and started flapping on the highway less than a week after the repair. The inner A-pillar trim also covers my side impact airbag which was also glued to the vehicle as they tried to cover up items they broke. If I were in an accident and didn’t notice this, could have prevented the airbag from deploying.They also didn’t use the proper windshield wiper puller and scratched my cowl badly trying to get the wipers off the vehicle.the windshield is also off-center and sits high in the top passenger side as too much adhesive was used in this area.After numerous calls to the store manager, a visit, a warranty appointment—-I’m still left with damaged parts, no partial refund, or even a call back. When mistakes are made, someone needs to take accountability. They will not!

Got a front windshield replaced on a 2020 Hyundai Elantra last week. So far so good with the glass install as well as recalibration of all onboard systems. Service was complete within 6 hours of dropping off my vehicle.
My windshield caught a rock and cracked ever so slightly, and when I filed a claim with my insurance they sent me here. They quoted me a time of up to 3 hours to replace it and recalibrate all my spiffy Subaru safety stuff, but I was all set in a little more than an hour; I hope I never have any more issues with my car windows, but if I do and Im back in the area these folks will be my go-to!
Bad not customer focused at all. 4 times to get window installed. Lasted less than 2 years. Seal nto proprely installed. Cant be reached by phone. Will never use them again.

After an hour of dropping off the vehicle they called me to pick up my car because they had to reorder my windshield due to a scratch being on the new one. Then 2 weeks later when they new one came in I drop off my car and waited the 4 hours they told me it would take they say they cant figure out how to calibrate the windshield and that I have to take it to the dealership. Also that it will take another couple hours for the vehicle to be ready to be picked up.
Horrible experience. Lied to four different times. Staff does not know their hours or even that they are closed on Sundays. Still seating here waiting. After two times they didnt come through dropped it off today at 12:45pm told on the phone I could pick it up on Sunday when I showed up they informed me I had to pick it up today since they are closed on Sundays. Asked what time they closed and was told 3pm, but it would be ready in 2 hours. Came back at 2:50pm and was told it would be at least another 30 minutes, they close at 4pm not 3pm. Had to cancel plans due to their idiocracy. What a waste of time!
The website said there were Sunday hours. We drove to the Naperville location, and the sign said closed on Sundays. Called the 24/7 number and didnt get an answer.Set appointment online. When guys on scheduled date arrived, the windshield was incorrect. Guys were great. Said they talked to their manager and the manager would call me morning of next day. I waited for the call. I called the number again listed on their website twice that morning. Kept getting a message. So, I decided to drive over to their location.The woman at desk said the number listed wasnt correct. The manager came out and hadnt looked into the replacement window until I got there. Said they didnt have that year and couldnt get it. Told me to call dealers. As I was leaving said, You wont find it though. At this point I had wasted half a day.I would think the website could be updated with correct information. Plus, I would think the manager could possibly have been a bit more helpful.The advertisement of 24/7, especially in Naperville, is not true. Extremely disappointed.

Stay away from this nightmare of a company. They have no idea what they are doing, saying and how to respect customers. They are liars and the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with in my entire life! Stay away!!! If you want more stress to go with your window damage contact them!
These guys are good and thorough. I had winshield replaced in 2018 and warranty still in effect. I had water coming in and the guys did everything they could to make it leak. Naturally it wouldnt I was given personal cell number to call anytime if it leaked. Safelite is the only place I would go for glass service
Terrible. Scheduled my appointment on a day that they were closed with no notice aside from a voicemail that was delivered shortly before the appointment itself. When I rescheduled, they set a time window for me to come in and still didnt take me. Even tried to up charge me an extra $50 for service on the second quote, which didnt make sense at all when nothing had changed between the two appointments. No customer service inside the building and the front desk rep was just not helpful at all. Would not recommend
Removal and install of a front windshield was done in 1 hour. Technician was efficient and informative, although a bit stoic. This location is inside an automotive mall off of Ogden, with several other auto businesses so getting in is a bit unconventional. The install appears to be done correctly and it has a lifetime guarantee. I would recommend the service.
These guys are great! I got a same-day appointment to replace the rear glass in my truck and was able to wait there while the work was performed. Took about 1.5 hours. They walked me through the process and even took me out to the shop so I could confirm the product was what I wanted before they installed it. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend using them if you are in need of auto glass.

Ordered a windshield about a month in advance and then scheduled an appointment several weeks away in order to be sure they got the windshield in. On the date of service, a Friday, the tech never showed up and never called.I called into the business and they had no answers. When they called back, they told me that the windshield was on backorder but then proceeded to schedule my next appointment first thing the Monday morning. Seems fishy. Well see if they come on Monday
I would not recommend them. Ive driven close to 2 million miles in my life, and have had dozens of rocks and pebbles kicked up on my windshields over the years, and up until last fall, not one cracked my windshield. Last fall was a dozy, and we all expected it to crack right away. Over the next few hundred miles on our way home, it spider webbed. I took it to Safelite, and the experience was unremarkable. Within two months, I had a small nick in the new glass despite there having been no audible impact. I didnt even notice it was there at first. A month later, a second one showed up, and two weeks later a third showed up, all without any major hits from stones. When I brought it in, they told me having them fixed would be upwards of $175, as it wasnt under warranty. I told them I was upset with the quality of the glass, and they told me the glass was the same as the original. Im the only one who drives my vehicle, and I know the major impact that cracked the original windshield, and am very disappointed that Safelites glass chipped so quickly and with so little impact on three different occasions, and that they would charge an arm and a leg to fix it. I found another dealer who charges just a bit over half the quoted fee. Im done with Safelite based in large part on the quality of their glass.

That is my second time I used them. Nice and kind front desk person. Well trained workers. Easy to get to any location. The even can come to your home or work and to their job. If the weather is good they dont need a shelter. I like them.
Safelight installed a new windshield and attempted to recalibrate my camera safety system. After repeated tries they could not recalibrate it. I took it to the dealership and discovered this location damaged the camera-a 2,800 dollar repair. Avoid at all costs. Thankfully my outstanding insurance company is facilitating rectifying the damage.
Left glass all over vehicle and ground, he treated my vehicle and warehouse space as if it were his own, got in my vehicle and started driving it?!?!?!? Also closed my warehouse doors while I walked up front to the office real quick, lots and lots of fumes from whatever he was spraying.. instant migraine, never will I use this location ever again, and definitely would not recommend. They were also a day late. Totally unacceptable. Spoke to the manager who clearly does not care. Very rude and thinks all of these inconveniences were ok. Its sad that they treat their customers this way. I have 7 vehicles in which I have serviced regularly and never have I had such horrible customer service, oh and being told that glass will turn into dust.. what a joke! I highly recommend going somewhere else!

Unsatisfied with work done on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Our son took the car to Naperville location and when he came back I was totally stunned by what we saw. Crack in the window looks worse than before the repair. Visible glue or whatever they used plus two black spots add it to it. When I contacted the Manager of the store, I was told that this is what it supposed to look like. We have done it many windshield repairs in our lives and this one is the worse by far. I would not go back to them and would not recommend this place for any service on any vehicles. We were not offer any help outside of replacing the whole windshield at $350 cost. What a poor approach! You do horrible job and then you expect the customer to come back and do another job for a much higher cots. Not a good business!!!!

Safelite is the type of place you bring your vehicle when you have no one else you trust. They are always there when you may need them, but the customer service is lacking. My experience here was okay. I scheduled an appointment, showed up, and had my glass repaired. The service personnel explained everything to me beforehand, but the most important thing to remember is that fixing a chip in the windshield is about safety, NOT aesthetics. The chip will look the same or worse, but the glass will be safe. Expensive to fix small chips. Probably could do it yourself if you have the correct equipment. If not, leave it to the professionals. The receptionist had a bad attitude when I asked about receiving a AAA discount after the job had been done and intentionally left me waiting for 20 minutes while my toddlers and I restlessly waited for her to ring me up because she was on the phone. Afterwards she complained about why I hadnt paid the service person outside and said it would have been faster if I did it that way instead of coming to talk to her. Poor, vindictive customer service. I would not return to Safelite because of her attitude alone.
Very disappointed. First time when technician came to my office to put new glass, he said he can not do it. And I need to bring my car to service. I have very busy schedule, so this option doesnt really work for me. I had to switch days at work to make there for my second appointment. Left a car and hour later received a phone call from technician saying that he cant install new glass because its defected. I understand things happen, but dont you suppose to check product before I arrive for my appointment? Totally waist my time!! Very unprofessional. I had to come back for third time to get it done. The only reason I had to use them was my insurance. But I feel these people dont respect their customers and their time.
Extremely bad experience with this place called them on Nov. 11th was told it would be a week to order window after a week didnt hear from them so called to find out the manager was a jerk said he didnt have time for me he had a business to run. So found a different place to get window fixed!!

I took my semi there with a double windshield I had one replaced 2 years ago and one of them had a real bad leak in the seal they gave me two new pieces of glass and only charged me for one because my other one was still under warranty and only did it in 4 hours great place to go super fast super friendly super quality

Went to get my windshield repaired. Their online system is way to use. Was able to schedule an appointment and get it replaced.
The manager tried to hide behind his unlimited warranty, gaurenteed money back policy....that was not the case. It costed my family over $900 to get our windshield fixed TWICE. I will not be foolish and return a third time. If you want your replacement done correctly, go to Aaron’s Auto Glass, Gerber, Service King, honestly anywhere but Safelite. Your childish games will catch up to your business.

Safelite should be embarrassed by the quality of work and lack of decency shown towards the customers that PAY to keep their doors open. If you are looking for more problems and headaches this is the place for you. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I’d rate my experience a -100. Don’t bother commenting or saying sorry for the inconvenience, it’s clear you don’t care about your customers. Avoid Safelite and their rude staff, I’m very surprised they are still in business.
Safelite came out today to attempt to fix my wifes windshield. It had a tiny 1/4 chip. During the repair they cracked the windshield into what was described to me as a rings of Saturn style crack. The technician called the office and was hung up on twice. He wanted us to pay even though it was confirmed we have a $0 deductible. He would up leaving with no explanation and refused to give my wife a receipt when asked stating that he broke the windshield during a botched repair. I escalated to State Farm and they are helping (even though they shouldnt need to be involved). Be careful of companies that dont even provide a phone number. Shame on you Safelite.

Terrible customer service!!!Had my regulator go. I was told that was a labor only job as I had bought the part that needed to be installed.I called 1st thing in the morning to make my appointment. I was told that I didnt need one. I asked 2 more times because that seem strange and again was told not necessary, just come on in. I said ok and made arrangements to leave work to bring it in that afternoon.Well needless to say when I arrived, I was told I DO NEED an appointment. I said but I was I didnt and I took the time from work to come. I asked why they didnt call back. All I got was a sorry and they could get me in the following Monday.I asked to speak to manager Renzo who didnt even greet me, just came out. I was polite albiet a little irritated. And he said I needed appointment and soonest I could get in was now the following Thursday. What?!? I was just told Monday by the other guy and he says Thursday.Evidently if my windshield was busted I would get in sooner but because this was not the case my repair doesnt matter on the grand scheme of things.WOW!

If you are looking for a place to replace your windshield and in the process get dirty finger prints on your headliner and visors, this your place. I called the day after and was told someone would come out to clean up the mess, no call and no show later. I called again on Monday and explained this and was told a note will be left for the manager and not to my surprise, no follow up call. I do not recommend this place.
Worst place I have seen! Waited two weeks for appointment, they ordered wrong windshield! No apologies! Waited next two weeks for second appointment,I was there, they dont know nothing about windshield! Unprofessional, I lost my time and they sent me email,to make appointment, I got 30 $ off! If you are looking to be disappointed please visit this location. I spent over $500 on a new windshield for it to be cracked less then 2 weeks later. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!! I would recommend going elsewhere at all costs.
We took our car in for a windshield replacement about a month ago. They placed a product that is not compatible with our safety features on our car, and they are refusing to do anything about it. The manager is extraordinarily unprofessional, avoiding phone calls and lying to our insurance company about his mistake. We are now 4 weeks with a car that is sitting in a shop, useless, until someone from this place can actually own up to their mistake. Do not ever visit this location. If your insurance company sets you up with them for a replacement, ask them to send you to your dealership instead.
Great job on replacing my windshield. Just be sure to check all your window and door moulding though, they didnt reinstall it properly. They fixed it once I pointed it out, but good thing I noticed it prior to leaving.
If you value your time and money do not come to Safelite. Not only is the service god awful, the staff was horrendously rude. As a Naperville resident for 25 years I can say I will never ever be back. Get your act together and help your CUSTOMERS instead of robbing their money.

One of the worst experiences in customer service ever. Promised 2-3 hours to replace my Mercedes windshield but took 9 hours to do it. Kept moving the timeline and let me wait there. And finally when they delivered it, they did it badly with some alert lights still on. The front counter guy said he can’t do anything and simply shrugged shoulders at my situation. Finally had to go to the authorized dealership to get those issues fixed.SafeLite Auto naperville - bad quality, bad customer service, bad pricing. Must avoid at all costs!!!!!
The day before I visited this place I had gotten a chip in my windshield while driving behind a deep-treaded SUV. I found this place locally and since I had seen so many of their commercials I figured it was a no-brainer, and I was right. I didnt want to file a claim against my insurance so I opted to use their chip repair service and I cant complain at all!!! They did a fantastic job and Im so happy that I didnt go for the cheap kits sold at autoparts stores! Since I have USAA insurance I got a VERY NICE discount on the price. I am soooooooooo happy I went here. Awesome and friendly staff with a FAST turnaround time!!!!!

Broke the switch for my window, and bent my seat frame. Dealership wanted $700 for the frame and $300 switch. Safelite repaired my window ok, but caused me more monetary damage than the guy who broke into my car.
I normally do not write these reviews but my experience needs to be heard by management at this place: I had my rear tinted power slider replaced on my 2012 Chevy Silverado previously at this store that I paid out of my pocket $800 dollars. I had to wait all day in the shop because it was very labor intensive I understood that and relaxed there walked around until fixed. now I shattered the window a second time but this time I had insurance on the glass - so everything go scheduled through insurance company a week before the appointment- I go in the day of my appointment to the shop because that is required for this job which I knew and was fine with - got to the shop 1 hour early just in case they could get me in earlier which was fine if they didnt - they then proceeded to tell me we have to reschedule because it was a two man job and they only had one person back there for a tech. I asked for the manager who proceeded to tell me they have to reschedule because he went back 1 hr ago and looked at glass and they dont have the correct amount of people there. so they basically didnt staff correctly and I had to pay for their mistake. they were well aware of what needed to take place on my truck a week before why wait until 1 hr before to look at the job. I will never ever bring my vehicle to these guys again!
I requested oem glass for my Audi, after waiting a week the tech brought out aftermarket glass. He said hed have his manager contact me to order the glass I had initially requested, that was 5 days ago, still no call and theyre not returning my messages. On top of that, theyre twice the price of every other glass vendor, and every time I do an online quote on their site the cost fluctuates +/- $40. Safelite used to be the go to for glass, but theyre not the company they used to be.

So made my appointment online and paid ahead. They gave me a 4 hour window from 8am to 12pm. About 9:30 I get a call saying they only have oem glass and it’s going to be double he cost I already paid! Seriously? Then why would the website let me go ahead and pay for glass that isn’t there? So now I’ve wasted my day by clearing my schedule. So I call my insurance to go through them and they ask where I’d like to go. I bring up that there’s a safelite not far from my house and the agent says “ya we don’t like using them, their glass isn’t very high quality and usually have problems with them” enough said! Go elsewhere!

Super easy to fix my windshield
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The Manager was arrogant and rude. I had told them my windshield had to come from the dealer and they over and over again told me I was wrong. I waited for a week for the appointment, took off work and sat there for an hour only to be told that they had the wrong windshield. Then I was given all sorts of misinformation on top of attitude and told the windshield was in route and would be there tomorrow. After speaking to the call center, it turned out that wasn’t even true and it would be several more days. They handed me my keys and left pieces of my rear view mirror laying inside my car. I am now going to pay out of pocket for a new windshield because I would rather pay than deal with this company.
