Ive gone to this store for years and have never been disappointed. I got my first road bike from them 8 years ago and have been so happy with it. I went back again recently to get a bike fit done on my new bike. They were so helpful! I was getting upper back and neck pain while riding my new bike. Sean ordered a new part for me and fitted it appropriately. Ive had no bike pain since!! I really appreciate all the help and advice Ive received from the workers at this store.

A few week’s ago I crashed due to a front tire blow out on my Madone. I brought my bike to the Naperville Trek shop for an inspection to make sure the frame wasn’t damaged. Unfortunately, my front forks sustained damage that needed to be replaced. Knowing that bikes and components are hard to come by nowadays. I prepared mentally for a long wait. At the shop I was told I would receive a call in a couple of days with an update. Like clock work I got a call with great news about a replacement and will need to be shipped from California. On the call I was informed of possible shipping delays due to the current conditions that we are all aware of. I received a call quicker then expected with news my bike was fixed.With all that said, I am extremely happy with the customer service and workmanship on my bike. Thank you again for everything. I really appreciate the hard work and answering my questions.

Purchased two road bikes (for myself and my wife) within the last five years and I’m very pleased with the product quality. The staff at Trek is incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Timely turnaround on servicing also means you’re back on your bike quickly. Highly recommend the custom fitting to maximize your comfort and output/power on your road bike. Couldn’t be happier.

Sean and the crew at Trek Naperville are true bike geniuses…. they took the time to understand my needs, then fitted me with a beautiful Domane road bike and made modifications to my mountain bike that have me riding pain-free again. I was newer to cycling and had great guidance from the sales staff in selecting and building my bikes - and yes, I had to wait for my bikes, but it was definitely worth the wait!! I’ve bought multiple bikes from Trek Naperville over the years, ranging from young kids bikes with training wheels to a relatively high spec triathlon bike. I recently had an excellent bike fit with Sean at Trek of Naperville. I highly recommend going to Trek and seeing Sean to ensure your bike is fit properly. I completed a few rides before the fit, and all the internet videos I watched did not even get me close to where I needed to be. After the fit power and speed both went up considerably. Sean was so knowledgeable and guided me through each decision along the way- and there are a lot of decisions to make! I absolutely love my bike!! Their service dept is top notch to boot! I called Trek Naperville recently to check the status of my order of two Dual Sport bikes. They said they are delayed for two months. At this point I am waiting for over 3 months for my bikes.I kindly asked them to call corporate to find out more info, and the guy said he will call back within few hours. He never called me back, so i called back to see if they can call Corporate. The second guy refused to call corporate.They will only help you if you are placing an order with them. Not when you actually want to get the bike. Try a different dealer, this place has bunch of arrogant guys.It wouldnt have been so hard for them to call corporate for me. Even corporate said they have to do their job and call for customers.

My wife wiped out on her bike and bent the derailer. I brought it in to Trek for a repair hoping to get the bike back within the week. The service technician put it up on his bench and within 5 minutes it was fixed! And they didnt charge me! What nice people!

I cant support a business that is in favor of big bicycle. Its putting walking-based companies out of business!

I have had my bike serviced at a number of different shops near me, I finally decided to give them a shot because whenever I call they are very friendly and willing to help. I had been hesitant because they are about 35 minutes from my house. Man am I glad I made the trip!!!Just like on the phone, they were very helpful and answered all my questions and I didint feel rushed. I had some issues with my bike and everywhere I took it I was getting charged for them to fix it for them to just tell me that I have to ride it more.The second I got on my bike it felt 100% better and everything I had an issue with was corrected. Felt smoother like butter and all the sounds I was hearing were gone. 100% satisfied!Do yourself a favor and get your service done here, you wont regret it!

This bike shop has the most friendly and helpful staff! I went to the store today with my spinning shoe stuck in a recently purchased pedal from amazon. The person who helped me got the pedal unstuck from my cleats and helped me find a better alternative and showed me how to adjust the tension. He answered all my questions and was great. Ive used Trek in the past to tune up my bike. Always fantastic service. Thank you!

The employees are nice at this Trek Naperville. But when it comes to maintenance 1 star. I paid $78 maintenance service for my Marlin 7 After I pickup my bike I have noticed the derailleur was so dirty and it’s making weird noise it doesn’t look like they did the service So don’t pay extra for maintenance just do it yourself. Waisted my $78

Never been to any bike place before to get a bike fixed. So I was a little nervous coming in. I called before i came in asking them they can fix my tire since there was a hole in it. He said he could fix it. And that’s exactly what he did today. Very friendly staff. This place is also clean too. The service was really fast. I would recommend anyone to come here. You won’t be disappointed. Bike tires are as good as new :)

I ordered a bike in April for an event at the end of May. The gentleman showed me the computer screen that the bike had already shipped and was on its way. I called to see if it was ready at the beginning of May. The employees that I spoke with over the phone said it wouldn’t arrive until the 15th of May. I shared I was confused how is this possible it supposedly shipped April 5th. The guy said he wasn’t sure what happened. I went to the store May 16th to ask when my bike would be ready. This bald older man smugly said it won’t come until June 5th with a smile. He was so incredibly unprofessional. It is incredibly frustrating that there was absolutely no communication to me if they didn’t receive my bike. They’ve left me with no opportunity to even try to fix this situation and purchase a different bike because of the lack of communication. I’m out money for a race and on top of that I had to deal with horrible customer service. No apologies or explanation as to how this happened. My bike was supposedly delivered or shipped out now twice and seems to have vanished twice. Did they sell it to someone else twice. I don’t know but it does makes you wonder. I’ll be in to speak with a manager first thing tomorrow morning. I’m extremely frustrated with the overall situation.

Brought four of our bikes in to be tuned up in November. When we got them out in April two were not in working order. We took them back and they fixed them, but admitted that the tech who worked on them was terrible. Not happy after spending over $500 for tune ups.

I visited this store on a slight chance that they would have a bike in stock as it showed on the Trek Website. I knew my the chances of it actually being in stock were very slim with there being a global shortage on bikes due to the pandemic. I arrived as the store opened and they did show the bike in stock. However, after 10 minutes of searching I was told the bike was not actually there. They phoned another store to see if it was transferred there and inventory was not adjusted. In turn Drew took my name and number and said he would get to bottom of it and if they found it he would call me. I figured I would never hear from the store again. However, the next day Drew called and told me they found the bike and I would be given first shot to purchase. I was blown away that they kept my name and number and then followed through on offering me first shot to purchase. I took them up on the offer and very much appreciate them going above and beyond to take care of me. Great customer service! Special thanks to Drew!

One of the best bike shops around. My Specialized needs a rear derailleur adjustment which was done flawlessly by these guys. They did not even charge me for the work done as a gesture of good will. This bike will be my go to place from now on. Not since they did not charge, but because of the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism shown by these guys.

I have had nothing but very pleasant experiences here. Sean and his staff have been very accommodating and helpful. I have a great bike and my son loves his as well. My only regret is I wish I found this store years ago. I think what might be helpful is to think about the purpose of the bike you want as well as the price range. Keep in mind too that spring is usually very busy for any bike store and when you throw in a pandemic with above average spring temperatures then it is going to be challenging for any bike store to keep any semblance of a stocked inventory. Sean and his staff have been handling this situation very well and I recommend visiting Trek Bikes in Naperville.

I have purchased bikes from Naperville Trek and have my bikes serviced at the store. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have great prices. Even through the national bike shortage, they are available to help.

Walked in knowing very little about bikes but I did have an idea on two models I wanted to purchase. I got to try out both models and ordered my bike that same afternoon! I wish I could remember the name of the women who helped me but I dont. But she was amazing! Now just waiting for my bike to get here! I cant wait lol

I have been going to Trek bicycle for the last two years now. They have always been friendly, they go above and beyond to help you and they are quite reasonable. I have a big ride tomorrow, and my front fork was loose. Being a safety issue, they got me in right away and took care of the problem swiftly! Love these guys!

Bought a new mountain bike from the store. The staff was very knowledgeable with helping me select the bike I need. He didnt try to up sell or get me to buy random things I dont need.Bike was nicely assembled and rode great. The staff was also very helpful with getting the correct size dropper post. This store will definitely be my first stop for future bike related purchases.

Walked in, told the sales person that I need a bike that’s in stock because its a gift. He said YES we have the Verve 2 here. After talking with him about 15 minutes about the bike, I decided to buy it. In the end he is telling me the bike needs to be built and it will take 1 week. WHAT IS THIS??? He just wasted my time... Never coming back to this store!

UPDATE/TLDR: After reading many of the reviews here and my own (similar) experience it seems if you are not buying anything (or not able to buy due to no stock) you won’t be helped, at all.Called multiple times for past week, no answer. They said to email, I emailed and got an automated reply to come on in if buying a bike. Drove in and they had a sign outside saying to “wait outside we will let you in”, I waited for 10mins until another shopper came by and disregarded the sign and went inside. My introverted self followed behind, soon realized no one was coming to “let me in”Upon walking in no one approached me for help. Walked the floor a bit checking bike displays, maybe they were busy. Still no one there, when I approached them, they said they have nothing in stock and the guy didn’t even seem to even care to help me or suggest any alternatives and started talking to a different customer mid conversation. I continued to try to see if I can at least try a floor model to get an idea of what I like and he rudely answered “you’re a large” with no basis or “do you want to try this” and went back to talking to a different customer who by the way walked in AFTER me.Also, no masks were worn by very young workers. Very selfish crowd it seems. Very rude experience, never coming back. Avoid this place at all costs especially if you are immunocompromised. Is it really that difficult to wear a mask and be courteous to others?

Disappointing when the general customer with only moderate bike interest knows more about the products they sell then even their bike mechanics. If you would like a trek would recommend any other shop that carries them. Best in the area would be Richards bikes and the only good Trek branded store is the one in Algonquin.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place and the people within. The staff is amazingly helpful and the store is always clean. They have been completely slammed busy with all the Covid madness going on, and yet, they still give each customer the time needed to get educated to make the right purchase. Because of how busy they are, there is sometimes a wait, but these guys and their kindness and expertise are definitely worth whatever wait required. They have always gone above and beyond and given me a lot of their time to answer all of my questions. They have also been extremely helpful in the service department. I transported my new bike carelessly and bent the derailer and the mechanics had it repaired and working like new in a matter of minutes. They are knowledgeable and capable and I trust them implicitly in all things bicycle. I bought a bike from them and when I am ready to upgrade, I will DEFINITELY buy any bikes and accessories from them. They are handling the slammed craziness Covid has forced on them with gracious class, even when customers are rude or mean to them. I would definitely recommend this place and these people for all things bicycles, whether you are a beginner or seasoned cyclist.

Came in for a quick pedal swap. I couldnt get my pedals off with a standard wrench, the shop engineer took care of it in a jiffy.Im personally a Cannondale guy but the Trek shop was nice. Prices seemed reasonable for most gear, comparable to say Amazon. But you get first hand experience at a store. Plus with engineers on site to install any gear you may need.Plus is that they are right off the bike path in case you need a quick fix.

Service was so so. They did not have what I wanted for months which was understandable due to COVID19. But later when I walked into the store after 4 months, they still did not have anything and they tried to convince me to buy a womens bike saying there is not much difference, which I wasnt happy about. That day in July of 2020, I forgot to take my mask along but to my shocking surprise they were not mandating a mask. Moreover after I walked in without a mask, every other customer was wearing a mask but none of the staff was having a mask on. Felt very unsafe and got out of there ASAP.

I was in the market to buy a trek bike i have never step foot in the Naperville store but this will likely be my last time. I understand we are in a pandemic i waited outside until someone called me in.. The sales man (teenager) asked what he can help me with i told him I was looking for a bike and I didnt know what size I was. I told him my price range and the model i wanted as soon as told him the model he said sorry we dont have the model you want until November. Okay I understand they dont have the model I wantbut he didnt even bother to help me figure my size. Basically he told me get out because I was not going to purchase anything. I guess I wasnt white enough to be helped.If this is how you treat your customers by fightingBack then you dont deserve any business i went to downers Grove were they offered me to a ride a bike and took my measurements while people were waiting. Unlike you, downers Grove treats customers like they are going to buy today whether they have the bike in stock or not.Thats when i realized you guys are nothing but joke and I cant you seriously

This bike shop gets a one star because their Mechanics are inexperienced. They can only work on Shimano and certain bottom brackets. They need better mechanics who are well rounded.

Stay away from this place!!! Those sales proffesionals will answers with an YES to all your questions. But when u decide to go ahead and make the purchase, they will tell u that it needs to be built a week actually the bike is not here or actually this bike is not on sale.I understand that it needs to be built or that it is not in stock, but why are they lying to the customers in the beggining that everything is in stock and good to go now??? Cheap people... trying to decieve customers just to keep them in store.

Super repair service! I brought in an old bike to give to someone whos bike was stolen...associate helped determine that the wheels were still OK, and did not push for replacing tires. Thorough and honest - cant ask for more than that!

I recently purchased a $2500 electric bike I understand the circumstances going on right now but with that being said it does not make any sense not answer your phone or have a go straight to a busy signal my chain broke on my bike and I need it fixed after I purchase your upgraded gold package.

Awesome service and great people. I was there today to have them checkout my kids bike. One with flat tire and another needed some work. Chris Wilson looked at both the bike and gave me honest opinion on what should be done. He quoted $20 for the flat tire and when I went to pickup the bike he actually charged only $16.00. This shows how honest they are. He also fixed the break on another bike for no extra charge, this I call customer service. I am really impressed by his honest opinion and with this incident he has gain my trust. I would highly recommend this store for any bike related work. Great Job Chris!!!

Have bought three bikes here for my niece and nephews. They love the bikes and the fit was great. Ive looked at a road bike for myself but havent made the purchase but have felt helped each and every time I go in to ask questions. The shop is by a trail that I ride frequently and theyll take the time to make adjustments to my nephews bikes whenever theres an issue.Love browsing at this store and look forward to buying my road bike.

I drove 15 miles to the store and was treated like Im lesser by the condescending retailers. Everything is incredibly overpriced. You can buy the same items at Wal-Mart for cheap. I do not recommend this store. I would say the only positive was the repairs seemed reasonably priced, but I refuse to have it done there. The women wouldnt provide service until she talked to her manager.

Had a flat tire and ate it pretty hard. Came in with an icebag on my face and they replaced it free of charge. Awesome staff and equipment here. Made my day, thank you guys so much.

No Help! I went to the Trek store to ask about the Thule Apex 4 compared to the T2 bike rack. I stood there with my wife playing with the racks while 4 employees talked at the register. After waiting around for assistance long enough, I left. The Trek store is close, but I get great customer service at Performance Bike down the road and I have no problem giving them my money.

Everyone was very helpful and made sure I got the bike that best fit my needs. Also got a great deal on the bike. Will definitely be going back to service my bike and any future purchases.

The people at Trek Bicycle in Naperville were great! We worked with Josh and he steered us in the right direction to two bikes and a carrier for our 18 month old. Great service and very helpful. The store is also very clean, organized and welcoming.

You may pay a bit more for the bike but the quality is worth it and noticeable. The shop guys and tune ups are awesome and make bikes feel like brand new.

I had an excellent experience at the Naperville Trek store. I was looking to buy two bikes, one for my son and one for me. I checked out three different bike shops in Naperville and liked Trek the best by far for their quality of bikes and customer service. I went to Trek twice before we purchased and had two different Trek reps help me, both of whom were extremely helpful. It was great that my son and I could try out the bikes in the parking lot behind the store. Ordering our bikes and customizing them was easy too, and the bikes were ready in just a few days.

Two things experts recommended for buying a new bike. Does the bike feel great when riding and is the retailers staff someone you want to work with. The Dumane of course was awesome to ride. But the winner was the store staff who were helpful and attentive and knowledgable. They also have the nice little side-feature of being on a paved trail which makes test rides extensive.

Called and left message with my phone number during business hours. Wanted to get my bike serviced and to purchase accessories. No return phone call was made- not even the next day. Took my bike elsewhere and bought accessories elsewhere.

Brought my bike in for a tune up and to have the rear brakes fixed and got the bike back with the rear brakes fixed but the front brakes now rubbing on the rim. Trek bikes are not cheap and you should expect a certain level of service for your expensive bike. This is really amateurish and unprofessional and will never, ever bring my bike back to this location again.

Recently bought a Trek FX1 22.5 from Downers Grove Trek. Had some shifting issues and took to it to Naperville Trek store. They did a great job of advising the proper shift methods to avoid problems. While there, bought a pair for ergonomic grips and they put them on for free. Treated like I bought the bike there. Very nice and knowledgeable staff.
